I purchased a 2025 Genesis in December 2024. I tried to set up payments through my dealer but found out later that they werent set up. Hyundai turned my account over to collections without calling or contacting me. Im leasing my cars from them, and returned my previous leased car without ever missing a payment or being late. I wouldnt be so upset except my credit score plummeted. It was over 800 but not anymore. **************** makes you jump through hoops from one department to another. Im done! Ive encouraged some of my friends to get a Genesis, and they did. If I could return this car I would. Do you know how difficult it is to earn a credit score over 800? I didnt know a person could be turned over to collections after missing one payment.

I had a horrible experience with this Hyundai dealership from the moment I got my leased car until the day I returned it. The poor customer service, excessive charges, and lack of professionalism made this one of the worst car experiences I've ever had.First, their service department is completely unreliable. I once went in for an oil change and tire rotation, and it took them over two hours. When I got home, I realized they never rotated the tires! I had to waste more time and miss work and family obligations just to go back and have them fix their mistake.Another time, my air conditioning needed repairs, and the dealership kept my car for four days without giving me a rental. They refused to provide one, claiming it wasnt included, and even tried to charge me for the rental and the repair! After five days of fighting with them, speaking to multiple managers, and dealing with horrible attitudes, they finally gave me a rental and started working on the repair. When it was time to return my lease, they tried to overcharge me for tire wear. The tires were in decent condition, yet they demanded an excessive amountmost likely because I didnt want to buy the car. On top of that, they charged me a ridiculous fee for going over the mileage. The receptionists and service staff are rude and unhelpful. Every time I visited for service, I was treated poorly. This dealership is all about squeezing as much money as possible from customers, and they dont care about providing good service.I do not recommend this dealership or Hyundai as a brand. Dont be fooled by their flashy ads and pushy salespeopleits not worth it. This experience has made me realize why brands like ***** and ****** may be slightly more expensivethey offer better cars and much better customer service.Stay away from this dealership unless you want headaches, bad service, and hidden fees.

Hyundai Motor America is full of c*** I bought at 2022 Hyundai Tucson brand new and I've had more problems out of it than I did with my old vehicles. Charging port went out 3 times a/c went out, radio screen went out, had to get new driver seat due to a rod poking in my back, tension pulley went out, a/c bracket broke and the first thing they say is it doesn't qualify for the Texas lemon law so we tried to get them to trade us out of it but they said they couldn't opened up 2 cases and they both said they couldn't do anything about it. When the tension pulley went out we ended up having to pay $1,131.33 cause they said it wasn't covered really we have bumper to bumper coverage ....I will never tell anyone to buy a vehicle from them I purchased mine from Hyundai Of Silsbee they can't keep anyone working everytime you go it some different people and that's from sales to service to parts. Just a sorry place of business I can't say what I really want to but you get the point. We bought a 2018 Hyundai elantra from them brand new and we always take our vehicles to the dealership for oil change so they changed the oil in our car and said we were good to go so as we go up the road to turn to get on the main highway car started making a noise and wouldn't pick up any speed so we coasted back to the dealership they came running out trying to see what's done happened lol they didn't put the oil plug back in and blew up the motor so they had to buy a brand new motor they were ****** lol not my fault ....I JUST WANT OUT OF THIS VEHICLE can I please get some help

Every service experience I have had with Hyundai (4 different dealerships) has been abominable. They don't even keep parts in stock at the corporate level that cars are requiring. They seem to have enough to keep putting out new cars, but don't have enough to ship to fix cars that are already paid off. Go figure.

1st Month After Buying First Hyundai. Long but interesting read. -It took almost 10 hours to negotiate this ****** that we ended up buying from Universal Hyundai - Within a couple of days, the check engine light came on. - 1st Appointment - We sat there for 6 hours for them to tell me that they have ordered the necessary parts! -2nd Appointment - They told me that you need to bring the car back because Hyundai did not send all ordered parts needed to complete the repair. A part is backordered!-They offered to exchange my car for another one with the exact same trim and features. I said, let us talk. -3rd Appointment - The difference was additional ~$4-$5K to purchase a similar car. This is not what exchange feels like. I am having to pay sales taxes twice in this proposed transaction. This would make sense if I changed my mind about the car. But that is not the case, this is a result of quality issues I am having with this car. - where is Hyundai on this due to quality issues? They need to make me whole. So, I called Hyundai and filed a complaint. - 4th Appointment - Then, one night, driver side rear tire was flat. I got the car towed to Universal Hyundai in the morning. The tire side wall had failed. There was no sign of physical damage or nail. I am suspecting it is poor tire quality. Universal Hyundai called me when my car was ready. Instead of them looking through if the backordered part is now at the dealership, I had to bring it up. - After repairs were done, Hyundai sent me an email to notify me that my case was closed. I was incredibly surprised to receive this email of case closure because Hyundai hasnt made me whole yet.- I have been to the dealership four times in the 1st month after purchasing the car. Disappointment was the common feeling I received in all these visits. - All I got from Hyundai is lip service and every time the local dealer tried to help, they made it worst.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at **************************************************************** Motors of America. On November 1, 2024, I brought my vehicle in for a recall part replacement. However, just one day after the repair, the very issue the recall was meant to address occurred, and my Anti-lock Brake Motor caught fire. Thankfully, no one was injured, but this incident has caused me serious concern for both my safety and the handling of this matter.I immediately reached out to Hyundai Motors of America, and a case was opened with a case manager named ******. Despite my numerous follow-ups, my vehicle remains sitting in the parking lot with no action taken. I was informed that a tow was ordered to transport my car to the dealership, but as of December 9, 2024, no progress has been made, and the situation remains unresolved. Save yourself the headache and lost time and money look for another brand.

I purchased a 2019 Hyundai ****** in 2021 with about ****** miles on it. It was great, until it wasn't. I heard a noise which to me sounded like it was under the car when I accelerated. Took it back to the ********* dealership and got an "acts and runs as it should" note. Then I had the check engine light come on from a knock sensor warranty and they told me it would have to go to a Hyundai dealer for the warranty work. I took it to the Hyundai dealer and they did an *** update at this time. I asked them also listen to the noise I asked the dealer I bought the vehicle from and they said it was the baffle in the muffler. At this point they replaced the muffler, the timing chain, the timing chain tensioner, intake CVVT component, an intake OCV, and the intake camshaft. The *** update did not work and my check engine light came back on so this time they replaced the catalytic convertor. Fast forward a couple of months, I was leaving work, just as I got on the highway, the car started to slow down and all my lights came on and the car would barely move. Engine froze and locked up, replaced under warranty. Shortly after getting my "new" car back, check engine light came on again. Since the engine blew oil got into the newly replaced cat converter so they had to replace it and I was told because of the knock sensor recall that my warranty had been extended to *******. A couple weeks ago, November 2024, my check engine light came on again! Want to guess why? Less than two years old and the catalytic convertor went AGAIN but THIS TIME, I HAD TO PAY ALMOST $2800.00 out of my pocket because the warranty on the cat convertor ran out at ****** and I had *******. That should have been covered under my extended warranty! I filed a complaint with Hyundai asking for reimbursement and they said that the convertor was not covered under the extended warranty. I had been recently looking to trade for a new ************** but now I will NEVER buy another Hyundai again!

I purchased a 2023 Hyundai ************** over a year ago, and unfortunately, my experience with both the car and Hyundai's service has been nothing short of disappointing. After experiencing engine issues, I took the car to the dealership for warranty repairs. The dealership conducted multiple tests over the course of two weeks before determining the engine needed to be replaced under warranty. I was assured that the replacement would take one week to complete. However, after the new engine was installed, the check engine light remained on. The dealership admitted they could not diagnose the issue and escalated the matter to Hyundai Motors, but there has been no resolution. What makes this experience even worse is the lack of customer care. The dealership has no loaner cars available, leaving me to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket for rental cars. It has now been over 30 days, and I am still without my vehicle and still paying rental expenses. The lack of communication, accountability, and support from Hyundai is unacceptable. I regret purchasing a Hyundai and would not recommend their cars to anyone. Their products, service, and customer support have all been incredibly disappointing. Save yourself the frustration and choose another brand.

I have a Hyundai Elantra 2023. I purchased it in 2024. My car has been to 3 different dealerships since Sept 5 2024 due to the engine light being on. My car is at the Hyundai dealership in ********* right now. When I had my car towed to them, I rented a car. That's the only way I could get back and forth to work. The dealership had my car for 7 days and explain to me that it may be an additional 5 days before I can get it back. The problem is now the dealership, saying they will not reimburse me for the rental. I called the corporate office and I was told that I shouldn't have rented a car. My question to them was, how am I supposed to get to work? The problems i've been having with this vehicle is all under warranty. Good customer service would have agree to reimburse me or give me a loner car. I will never and I repeat. Never ever deal with hyundai again. As soon as I get this car back, I will be trading it in. BUYER BEWARE!!! Hyundai is not standing behind their brand.
