It was advertised as a home air purifiers but when recieved it was only a small desk top unit to use with a cord for charger or attached to laptop. I bought a name brand house purifying unit x 2 from Amazon since for half the money involved here. When I phoned immediately upon receiving it I was told to ship it back and give the the tracking number and upon its reciept the would immediately give me a refund . Also I was given a different address to return it to than the issuing address. I have sent emails attached to the original confirmation one I received, also numerous calls which go to a phone number only giving a constant busy signal. I've tried a secondary phone number and left a voice msg but now the voice mail is full.Business Response

8/5/24 Debt card charged $9.99 then on 8/6/24 charged again $38.98. Called them to ask why the card was charged and could not find any account associated with name or email address. And since it was already delivered there was nothing they can do. The delivery was made over ***** miles from my address and over ***** miles from there company. Never heard of this company until today and never ordered anything from them. I have already been incontact with your company the day on 8/6/2024, and I quote "the delivery has already been made and there is nothing I can do in terms of a refund because it's considered a lost item. And the card was put in manually on our website. And we have no way of telling if it was you or not." My response to the company was "what was the name on the order?" Which you would not say. Then when I gave the name on the card and asked if it match the name on the order which the company response was "no it doesn't match", then the company went further to insinuate that the card information was given out by the card holder. The card information was never given to anyone nor was it saved to any device or auto payment. To which the company said that the card holder will have to take the charge up with the bank. The card has been canceled and gave the fraudulent charges to the banks fraud department.Business Response

I ordered three portable mini-cooling systems for elderly relatives (to use during hurricanes) but received only one and two blackout curtains, which I did not order. Upon inspection the one cooling system appears to be cheaply made and does not resemble at all what was advertised. On June 30, 2024 I ordered a portable battery powered ** unit from Modernlifdtrend for $89.99 plus $8.99 shipping. On July 1, 2024 there was a charge on my credit card from Modern Life Trend for $9.99. On July 3, 2024 there was another charge on the same credit card from Modernlifet for $98.98. I have not received the ** unit or any correspondence from Modern Life Trend. I cannot find a phone number or other contact information from the company. Ordered glasses. Credit card bill shows Merchandise of $19.99 x 2 and $43.98 x 2 for a total of $127.94. I IMMEDIATELY emailed them to tell them not to send duplicates of order. Very unfriendly response. I told them to give complete refund and I would refuse package and send back to them. Husband accidentally opened box, so we paid to return the package. It came back marked "No Such Name"!It was addressed exactly as the box it came in - RCG @ ********************************************. Four charges from Modern Life Trend and Modern Life T are being disputed because I did not order all of these items. ModernLifeTrend refused to cancel these fraud orders and refund my money. They shipped the items AFTER I called them and advised they have frauded my card card and told them to ship nothing to me and refund all charges back to my card.They shipped a box of stuff. My credit card has only issued temporary credit pending investigation.
Again, Simply issue a free return label and I will be happy to return these items.
I purchased one item only, then the card exploded with charges and Discover called me to make sure I was making these purchases and I was not.
I contacted Modern Life Trend right away on 15 June 2024 and told them to cancel the orders...ALL of them......refund me and do not ship.
Modern Life Trend shipped anyways.
