1 star*** knew they had faulty cars and when my car, which is on the recall list, stopped working they did me so dirty. I have been without a car since Thanksgiving and *** is now saying it will be 7 weeks until they repair my car but that what they are fixing has no guarantee it will work afterwards. They are supposed to give me a rental car but all of sudden they don't have any so they want to reimburse me only after the car is fixed up to $40 a day. Please DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ***. They have horrible products and refuse to be responsible.Review fromSue M

1 starI paid off my 2018 Soul three months ago and they were supposed to send the title to my state. I've inquired several times and finally got someone who told me they sent it electronically. The problem is that my state does not yet have an electronic titling system. My state has now threatened to suspend my registration if I do not furnish the title. My complaint to corporate got me the response, "we're sorry you feel that way. There is nothing we can do since we sent the title and no longer have it to send again."Review fromCharity R

1 starSo I own a 2013 and 2017 optima sxl. My 2013 optima had the engine replaced 2 years ago with no problem. I've been having lots of problems with the engine on my 2017 optima. First 2 years ago I noticed that I was losing more oil than normal the dealership recommended me to do the oil consumption test so I did. They found at ***** mile I lost a half quart, at another **** miles I lost 1 quart finally at the last **** miles I lost 2 quarts so why would you not itch your head? The dealership told me that it's within the guidelines of *** I shook my head. Three months later into the dealership it goes due to my check engine light blinking here it was my valve gasket cracked and leaked oil into cyclender 3 witch made it bad. I had it all fixed. Now 2 months later I'm having problems again its misfiring had it fixed. Than 3 months later another misfire come to find out my spark plug broke inside cyclender 3 had it fixed and than a tune up done. Finally in Dec ************************************************** cyclender 3. I have had documentation on everything and have had routine maintenance done on my car due to me driving for my job. I keep both of my vehicles in working order. But I refuse to pay for this engine repair knowing that my engine was bad yrs ago. I have also had all software upgrades down on my car cause I ask them eventide I'm in there if there is any recalls or upgrades. All documented. The reason for a one star is due to *** not up holding the engine warranty. I have talked to *************** and the guy on the phone said your engine is warranty for life. I asked him if there was any stipulations and he said no but now I'm getting the run around about them replacing my engine. I will not back down my car can sit at the dealership until *** fixes my car.Review fromNicholas C

1 starPlease Read if you intend on purchasing a ******* I wish I had the opportunity to read through some of these customer reviews before purchasing the car I did. My wife was in an accident with a 2013 Santa Fe, great car, but it was totaled. We looked around and found a 2018 *** ******* SX for sale, and said why not, the ******* was great. Fast forward 1 year later, our car breaks down on the side of the highway. Ends up having a failed transfer case and the passenger side axle needs to be replaced. This car is only 5 years old and has just over 100k miles on it.still shouldnt have a bad transfer case. *** looks into it and denies ANY coverage whatsoever. I fight this and still told the same thing. The part that bothers me the most, is that this part should not have failed so soon and *** wont do anything, even offer to split the cost. This to me is unacceptable and shows that *** isnt even willing to stand behind their own vehicles. The dealership cost for the repair.4000$. My advice to anyone looking to buy a car, spend a little more and get a ******************** etc. This was my first, and now last, *** I will ever own. They probably dont care about losing 1 customer, but let this be a fair warning to anyone else out there considering buying one of their vehicles.Review fromsarah t

1 starLord where to start! Three engines.... Broke my windshield washers on the last one and didn't even tell me they had to replace the motor. When the recall was finally a thing they did not pay me for my rental car like it states that they will and it has been 5 years now and they still have not fixed it. *********** in ****** ******* is the worst ******** service that I have ever seen. They only gave me one key when my car was purchased and then charged me $180 for another key along with this bull c*** package that they put on your bill. The communication from the service writers is horrible I can't even express the lack of communication and respect that they give to their ********s. It's like a bunch of politicians that look good but have no integrity whatsoever. I have contacted *** ******** service and they lack the same integrity that the dealership does so no wonder why they changed their logo so they look better. It's like I bought my car at the dollar store. Lol. Good luck to all the people that have purchased a *** and getting good service and a response from home office for listening to your complaints. They smile in your face and then stab you in the back.Review fromRachel A

1 starHorrible customer service. My 2022 *** has been in the shop for 40 days in the one year that Ive owned it with transmission issues and *** has been nothing short of useless when dealing with them. They are impossible me to get ahold of and their customer support agents never call back. Im constantly on the phone trying to get ahold of my rep after hes failed to follow through with me in the timeline he tells me he will. The better business bureau was equally as useless and closed my case without notification and has now refused to return my calls or voicemails when I reach out. *************************** closed my case based off what the dealer told her which multiple lawyers have since told me is not true. She was clearly only interested in closing **************** own record I assume, since every time I spoke with her she insisted we had to solve this in under 40 days.Review fromMisty D

1 starIf I could give 0 stars I would! I am currently financing a 2012 *** ****** almost 2 years into my contract I got a non-renewable insurance notice. Not even liability insurance available. Part of my contract is keeping full coverage insurance, when I call they say there is nothing they can do. *** is still selling these uninsurable cars and don't care about us consumers that are stuck with a payment but cannot even drive them. The recall notice said they do not have a viable fix to the defects yet but are working hard on finding a solution. They should recall all these cars, take them back and close out any remaining balances for those of us stuck with a vehicle that is so unsafe its uninsurable. I'm not asking for the money I pd so far as I'm not asking for anything free, but I shouldn't owe for a good that cannot be used. I hope that the government will see the damage this is doing to the consumer and move forward with legal recourse as a solution.Review fromLouis D

2 starsI am sorely disappointed with issues arising with this Sorento and its costs associated with it! Ive got a 2016 and Ive already had to have the engine replaced BEFORE hitting 90k miles! ********* was replaced and the nearby dealer I used did fine BUT Now its a fuel system issue, code p451 and the switch (the code refers to) was replaced. 500$ later!! The engine light is on with the same code! Now it may be electrical?! If I have to pay for more repairs due to this defective car, Ill shout to everyone I can to stay away from this car! I hope I dont get hit with more costs especially because I shouldnt have to pay for a job NOT DONE BY ***. So Ill update but I am not pleased to say the least! Im attempting to contact *** too and hope they stand by their product. This is extortion !Review fromSelina S

1 starSorry to all you *** people who want to buy one of their ***s, don't do it! We bought a *** *** and nobody sent us any information about a recall for the engine and we had to find out after our *** shut down on us when we were trying to drive it that there was an engine recall. I was driving and it shut down in the middle of the street with ***s coming at me and then did I realize there might be a little issue. I had it towed to my very trusted mechanic shop and they diagnosed it right away with an engine failure light that came on. My shop found metal shavings in the oil, changed the oil and test drove it for 10 miles and found more metal shavings in the oil. Come to find out there is a lawsuit against *** for ***s with engine failure. Again, we never received any notices in the mail. We towed our *** to the *** ********** lot, they said there were 30 to 40 other ***s on the lot waiting for diagnostics that would take at least 4 weeks to diagnose. There were no rental *** offers unless you paid for it yourself, they want to wait four weeks because there is not enough engines to replace all the ***s that need them. So after your *** sits there for 4 weeks waiting to be diagnosed which actually takes 20 minutes, and our very trusted shop that we always take our *** to already diagnosed it, *** tells us that our engine is fine, they checked the entire *** for everything else and tell us we need $2,000 worth of work on brakes, rotating tires, and everything else. They didn't even address the original problem of they need to replace our engine which is why we took it in. Come and pick it up they say there's nothing wrong! Yeah it's stranded me and there is a diagnosis already from my trusted mechanic that the engine failure light was on with everything else they did to prove that. Then my husband talks to one of the employees and they say yes, you have to actually break down somewhere and who knows where before *** will say okay, your engine needs replaced. *** *****
