In September of 2020 I purchased a brand new 2021 Kia ***** In May of 2021 I paid it off in full. July of this year, the engine failed. It has been at a Kia ********** since September 7th. They informed me that the engine is indeed in need of replacement and it will be 6 months before it can be fixed. I am still under warranty so the replacement is "free", but other than that I have basically been told I am screwed for the foreseeable future. I was told they do not have any loaners and that I have to rent a car for 6 months and *** will pay up to $46 per day at the end of the rental. Most rental cars are AT LEAST $80 per day. So that's a difference of $34 I am expected to pay. $36 per day for 6 months is OVER $6,000!!!!!!! I am expected to pay $6,000 because I was sold a faulty *******??? This is completely unreasonable and ridiculous to expect of one of YOUR customers. Everyone at the ********** I have been dealing with (******************* in *************) has been not only unhelpful, but has explicitly told me how bad the Kia ******* is and how the reason they are out of loaners is because so many people had to bring in their cars for engine related issues. I understand that you do not own this **********, but they are representing your company and your *******. According to them, your ******* is garbage. They refuse to help me. ******* at ******************* literally said the words "Not much I can do to help". I have called multiple times to the ******************** and have just been told I have to wait for an escalation team to call me about this issue. I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THIS. I have been without a working vehicle since July. It is now the end of September. I rely on my vehicle for my income. Which means I have not made ANY income in over two months. I am days away from power being turned off in my home, my internet cut off, and my rent not being paid. This is all DIRECTLY related to *** and their refusal to help me. Horrible company. Horrible service. Horrible.

I have a 2017 Kia ******** It's friggin starting to fall apart. The rear passenger door handle fell apart in my hand. I expect this out of American cars not ********** and ******* I only have ***** miles. Does *** start falling apart at 5 years old?? Then there is a federal law suit that the engine will catch fire or blow up. What is *** doing? I should have bought a ****** or ******

I wish there was an option for negative stars. *** is the #worstever. Their customer service is an oxymoron as it doesn't exist and *** ******* is a predator _-they insist that you pay them with zero substantiation. In my particular case, I attempted to pay for my car at the end of my lease on the assigned residual value and they insisted I pay them on another value that they arbitrarily made up---then when I contested the amount--they started sending me default notices notwithstanding my almost daily efforts to pay according to my signed lease. I have started complaints with the Attorney General, ************************ and am filing a complaint here as well. This is not legal. Also they refuse t actually honor their manufacturers warranty so there is that too.

Terrible customer service. Ive been waiting for 3 months for a reimbursement for a recall item (trunk latch) that I had replaced before the recall. I have been asked over and over again to submit copies of the two receipts. One receipt is for the part which was purchased directly from the KIA *********** The other receipt is for the installation of the part by an independent mechanic which was necessary because the KIA ********** it would be at least 2 weeks before they would have time for my car. My car was undrivable with the trunk standing wide open. I have been asked at least 5 times to resubmit the receipts and each time I have complied. Today I received an email telling me the $60 reimbursement for the part purchased had been approved but I needed to once again submit the receipt for the installation ($50). This is beyond frustrating and I will never again purchase a KIA ********

I had a *** and I loved it. This ******************************* had a voluntary recall( along with MANY other ***s) on it for a knocking engine/clearance bearing issue. That issue can cause your engine to fail. My engine failed, IN TRAFFIC, in a moderate/high speed environment! I checked the *** of my car online... it didn't show up for recall while in my possession, but after I get rid of it, it pops up. *** offered an engine replacement or $1500 if you can prove you lost faith in the vehicle. My dead car should qualify me for one of those options. I was told my engine had an internal failure, with no info on what the exact issue was. It supposedly passed the clearance bearing test, it had fluids...oil..... what happened? I was in touch with KIA America and they would say they'll have someone call.... never did. They would respond to an email, and then close the case after a response or 2. I would open a new case because I deserve more information as to what happened to the car that I am still financially responsible for!!! I've been on forums with other people who have had similar issues with *** vehicles, and some people had recall notices and still weren't remedied! Someone I know went back and forth for MONTHS before they replaced her engine and that was with a recall notice containing her ***!!! I just feel they are playing games. The person that I recently communicated with basically said I was appropriately denied, and didn't understand what I was looking for. You mean to tell me there's no reference of any communication over the last few months..... nobody filled this guy in before/while my email was forwarded to him? I get they are in the business of avoiding to pay, but why list the 2013 *** ****** as part of a voluntary recall that you put out, and then act like it doesn't pertain to my 2013 *** ******, when my ****** experienced the engine failure your company said could happen! I'm so disappointed and disgusted.

While I'm on hold for about an hour, I thought I would leave a review. I purchased a 2015 certified pre-owned *** that supposedly went through a 130-point inspection. I realized the next day I had been lied to when my car would not start. Turns out is was a dead battery. When it was towed back to the dealership, I asked about the tire-light and check engine light. I was told it was nothing to worry about after they replaced the battery (1 day wasted of my life). Later, I popped a tire after hitting a curb in an unfamiliar neighborhood at night. I was stranded for hours after calling ******** assistance because my car was sold to me without a spare tire kit! When *** ******** assistance finally arrived hours later, they would not drive me home after bringing my car to the dealership. The next morning, after sleeping in my car, I was told there was a nail in another tire, so instead of replacing 1 tire, it made more financial sense to just change all 4. From the time I purchased the vehicle until now, everytime I take my car in for service, the check engine light is on and someone says "did you know your check engine light is on?" And I say "yes", it's always been on. So now, I'm in *****, and they require a state inspection. So I refuse to pay for a new fuel cap, when it should have been replaced BEFORE I PURCHASED MY VEHICLE. ********* needs to take care of these repairs. It's been over 4 years now. So, whenever they decide to fix my car, I will wait 4 years+ to take down this review. The only thing that upsets me more than the lying, games played, money loss, incompetence, repeating of my story over and over to many people, lack of accountability and overall lack of understanding is the time they have wasted. I have probably lost about 3 weeks in total of my life because of ***, and I have not had my vehicle for 4 1/2 years yet. And... I'm still on hold with customer service.

My engine seized. After towing we learned there was a recall to prevent this. WE NEVER RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE. Now we're stuck with a shell of a car and *** won't repair it. If we had received a notice that our car would blow up and possibly start on fire, we certainly would have had it repaired. *** couldn't even find our VIN!

Kia ******* America is actual garbage. Two years after outright purchasing my vehicle and still no title. 5 phone calls later and everyone has a different answer in regards to getting the title. They like to appease you over the phone then do nothing to help. Would absolutely not recommend anyone to work with this organization. I wish it was possible to rate them negative stars. Dont trust them to do the right thing by you because they wont.

Emailed and left a message for *** customer service to return my call a week ago. Have not received a call or email response yet. Will not replace my motor until it blows up even though its leaking 2-5 quarts of oil in between oil changes and check engine light comes on all the time. Will never buy a *** again.
