I leased a 2024 Kia *** earlier this year. The 12V battery has been malfunctioning 1000 miles in and keeps on draining. The car has spent over a month at the car dealership on four separate service calls to no avail. *** REFUSES to replace the 12V battery (because it passes all the diagnostics but nevermind that it keeps on dying). They agreed to repurchase the car last time we talked. The case was escalated to their escalation department. Except. The agent that was assigned to my case has been *** since 5/24. (Today is 6/3). I have been emailing and calling everyday. Today I talked to the supervisor of the ************ Care supervisor *******. ****************** had the audacity to tell me that it has ONLY BEEN 5 BUSINESS DAYS since I talked to my agent (really?!!!). And when I asked what is the reasonable amount of time to wait - like when does it constitute as "unreasonable amount of time" one have waited to get their escalated case resolved - his response was "well I am not going to get into that conversation".There has been NO movement on the repurchase/buyback process, no updates. nada. They will be hearing from my attorney. *****. Service. Ever. (And I thought that was the case when I had my Tesla).

After taking my vehicle to the dealership, I am being forced to pay for an entire engine our of pocket.According to ************* location, there is nothing I have specifically done after engine is determined to have major issues. I am told an engine replacement must be paid for, because *** will not allow them to fix the problems. I am unsure of what reasons (perhaps time).*** has made 0 good faith efforts to assist me, but instead told me that I am out of warranty. I have taken my *** for consisten fast burning oil and other things, but have been told it was nothing. I have had several peers have their engines replaced, but I am given no criteria for what it would take. I have paid for towing to maintain the engine and have received no consolation or even any empathy from *** whatsoever. This is very frustrating and I severely regret trusting ***. The stain is deep for their products in my opinion.

Less than 0 stars. Bought a 2018 *** **** in March 2022. Now May 7 2024 engine seized on a highway and its by Gods ***** we didnt get hit before getting out of the way. Had it towed to a reputable garage who diagnosed it and recommended engine replacement. Was then told about these issues that have been ongoing with these engines for years and *** is well aware and continued to install them in their cars. Was told of the class action lawsuit so filed a claim with *** who refused to accept responsibility for the bad engine due to a product improvement thing they put out and notified the original buyer of. I did not get this notice so was not aware that I needed to have it done to extend the warranty. ***s response was basically Im SOL. I will never buy a *** or a ******* and will tell everyone to not buy one.

I called *** in *********, ** and asked when they plan to have a resolution for the recall and was informed they had one now. I made an appoinment for today May 18th and drove all the way over to ********* (20 minutes each way) and was told that they dont have the part it has to be ordered, I asked why would you make me drive all the way here and not have the part and ***************************** told that is the *** ******* Now I have to drive all the way back over there again next Saturday. What a joke waste of my time and gas money, will also file a complaint with the BBB.

DO NOT FINANCE THROUGH *** I am writing to express my IMMENSE dissatisfaction with the documentation update process at Kia ******* America, a subsidiary of ******** My experience over the past six months has been plagued by frustration, delays, and inadequate customer service. In October of 2023, I legally changed my name due to marriage and subsequently began the process of updating my title and account documentation with Kia ******* America. Despite multiple attempts to communicate with their customer service team through phone calls and online requests, I have encountered consistent miscommunication, incorrect information, and lengthy response times. One of the major hurdles I faced was Kia ******* America repeatedly sending documents to an incorrect address in ******, *****, despite my insistence on the correct mailing address confirmed with the local tax assessor's office. This oversight caused unnecessary delays and complications in resolving the issue.Furthermore, I was surprised to learn that Kia ******* America lacks a mechanism to provide email confirmations of requests or send verifying information to customers. This lack of basic customer service infrastructure is baffling for a ******* of ***** stature and reputation.During my latest interaction with Kia ******* America, I was instructed to write a physical letter regarding my request, a directive that was not communicated to me during the SIX MONTHS of attempting to resolve this issue. Additionally, a request I made May 3 for a copy of my title to be sent to me was closed on May 7 without any follow-up or resolution.Overall, my experience with Kia ******* America has been frustrating and disappointing. I urge anyone thinking about working with ******** to not do so until it reviews and improves its documentation update processes and customer service practices to prevent similar issues for other customers in the future.

All four windows of my 2017 Kia ******** stopped working at nearly the same time. The windows could not roll up. I don't know how this could happen when the back windows rarely get used. I received a quote to fix them at one Kia ********** for $998 and was told it was the window drums that were broken. Received another quote of $2100 at another Kia ********** and was told it was the window regulators. Regardless of the quotes, all four windows that work independently should never have stopped working at nearly the exact same time. I submitted a concern to Kia America requesting a recall of the defective window part be initiated. The windows could not be rolled up after they all four broke! I only received a case # from the company and no real effort was made to address the issue. I called the number provided with the case # and spoke to a robot, I believe. I received no response from the **************** How can a company not think this is a dangerous problem or a defective Kia ***** I have read other reviews from owners who have experienced the same problem with all four windows of their vehicles from ****

Today the motor has went out and now because they say it has to be rod bearing they will not honor THEIR warranty called *** in ** and ** only to be told basically I have to pay for this engine. $3200-$6000 for engine, plus labor and other parts I could be out of $8,000. With the economy today I guess they think we have a money tree in back yard I can just come up with that. I am going to get my car!!! I ain't leaving 1 star horrible product and service.
