I am writing because for the past several years my 2018 Kia ****** engine has been constantly abnormally burning/consuming oil. Recently and repeatedly, I just get an oil change less than two weeks the oil indicator appears on my dashboard and I have to add at least three more quarts of oil. I am being advised by the dealer to continue to drive my car. My car is consuming oil on a weekly basis, and I am dealing with concerns, anxiousness, because I never know when the oil lamp will come on, and could be anywhere on the road with my precious children, or grandchildren, and all of us to be safe on the road. Also, in addition to the expensive cost of purchasing the oil, I have had to replace spark plugs three times within a year because of having to regularly add more oil to my car, due to the oil indicator comes on. The service department says than there are no internal or external leaks, but I am having to put oil in my car every other week, even between regular oil changes. There is something wrong with the engine and I dont want to wait until the engine ***** up or catches fire with me or my loved ones in my car before something is done. In between regular oil changes, I feel unsafe driving when the car has no oil in it, because if my car stops or loses power, I could get stranded on the highway that does not have a shoulder, in front of a fast moving big truck or car, which is also very dangerous. I am unable to drive my out of town to get to see my grandson on his first day of kindergarten. I dont want to lose my life with the dangerous, unsafe engine oil trouble. I dont feel safe transporting my grandchildren either. I have also complained to the **************** Kia America multiple times. I hope and pray that your organization can encourage the KIA *********** to replace the faulty engine and prevent my vehicles oil consumption problems.I would not want anyone to go through the same experiences with another Kia ********

Bought a 2016 Kia ****** with 3.3L engine (I believe Lamba II). Knocking sound started coming from engine, stopped for a day, and then engine quickly became overheated and we then informed that the engine is shot and needs replaced. Called Kia ********* and they said even though they are aware of this problem, there is nothing they can do and no recall planning on coming out.

There are no words to describe how utterly disgusted in *** I am. Two major issues with them 1) Peeling paint 2) Bad engine. Purchased a used 2015 *** ******* in Snow ********************* paint in 2017. I didn't have any major problems for awhile and then, almost like magic, the paint began to peel from the hood and side of my car. How unsightly it was and continues to be. The comical thing is, that when I called to report the issue to *** they said my car was out of warranty as I wasn't the original owner. Let me tell you, every single *** ******* that is in my color- Snow *********************, has the same issue- chipping paint. I feel like leaving a little note on each car and banding together for a class action lawsuit. My car started to under perform in 2022 so I brought it in and the dealership said it was my engine- however the silver lining (at the time) was that *** was going to cover it. I wasn't at 100k miles yet. So they replaced my engine and every since then it has been burning oil and had acceleration issues. I finally took it in again this past month then the engine light began to flash. This time *** said the engine was shot, which was unbelievable since it hadn't even been 2 years yet. I called *** ******** affairs and they confirmed that I didn't have a warranty on it so it would be my responsibility. I told the operator that I wouldn't accept this as the final answer but all she did was give me a complaint #. The dealership said it would cost approx 9-13k to fix my engine, well I don't even think it's worth that much. I am horrified to find that there are thousands of people like me who are stuck with high bills for engines *** knows are ticking time bombs. Fed up with this injustice and want them to fix my car.

Last year, my son, *************************** asked that I take his car, a 2019 **********, in to be serviced at the ********** from where it was purchased*** ******* South. Since ****** was travelling in Asia the better part of 2023, my husband and I were tasked with taking care of the car and an additional was ordered at the time of the service, which was 3/16/2023. The representative at *** advised that a key would have to be ordered, but before an order would be placed that I would have to prepay for the key, which with sales tax came to $349.65. The order was placed and the key was ordered the same day. Week after week, I telephoned the *** ********** to check on the status of the key, and each time I was told that *** was experiencing a parts shortage. After months of this run around, **** told me he would telephone me when the key arrived. That call never came! Unfortunately, as a result of all the tornadoes in ******* that year, I fell and broke my leg and six weeks later had to have surgery on the other leg. Since my residence is so small, I could not maneuver the wheelchair and moved into my sons residence for several months. The tornadoes completely upended our livesmy home was seriously damaged, my car was totaled, and our yard was all but destroyed. As you might imagine, any thoughts of the key was not a priority, and with being 74, life has taken on many challenges. Recently we learned that ***************** no longer exists and the new owners ***************** will not accept any responsibility even though they purchased the ********** and acquired responsibility for supporting and assisting the previous **********s customers. I am retired and live on a fixed income and cannot afford a $350 loss as a result of ***s inability to supply parts in a timely manner. *** received the money for the key and should bear the responsibility for either returning the funds or supplying the key.

*** vehicles' alarms do not activate when someone breaks their windows. Additionally, the *** ******* app does not consistently notify owners when someone opens their car doors. There hasn't been much effort to change the public's perception that *** (and ******** vehicles are no longer easy to steal. I believed I was safe with my new ***, but unfortunately, my vehicle will always be a target for thieves. Nowhere feels safe to park my car. I urge people to avoid ************* and ******* vehicles.

I leased two ***** in 2021 (Seltos and K5). Both transmissions have failed with the latest one in the repair shop for over 30 days. They still dont have a proper diagnosis on the car (as the diagnosis system was also down for two weeks) they havent offered me a loaner car, yet they still expect me to make my lease payments. The only thing worse than the transmission has been their customer service as no one has a solution or returns emails/phone calls.

*** does not stand by their paying customers! They are the worst car company and I will never buy another *** again. My car came off the lot with technical issues that were never resolved by the dealership. *** has refused to compensate for the inconvenience and loss wages due to this issue! My car is a source of income for me. 3 years of this nonsense and they have done absolutely nothing but offer me a free oil change. An oil change does not rectify the issue and is an absolute insult when I have loss massive amounts of income due to this issue.

My 2022 ************ has been having the same issue as it relates to my check engine. I just received notification that my claim was denied per Lemon Law. The issue is recurrent and has occurred over four times n which qualifies for the ****************** bit for whatever reason my claim was denied. They won't give me any information as it relates to the denials.
