I recently identified a fraudulent account under the name La Curacao, opened on 09/16/2021, with account number **********, on my credit report. This account was not authorized by me and is a result of identity theft.I have reported the incident to the *** and my local police department. Im writing to address an error in my credit report. One of my payment have been inaccurately marked as late, even though it was made on time. This mistake is harming my credit score and misrepresent my payment history, it shouldn't even be reported on my credit in the first place.I request that CURACAO promptly correct this inaccuracy and notify the credit bureaus to remove them. If this issue is not resolved, I may be forced to pursue arbitration, which could result in substantial legal fees for your company.Business Response

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Ms. ******** complaint. After reviewing her account, we found that the late **** she disputes is valid. The payment that was due on April 6, 2023 was not made until May 18, 2023, when Ms. ******* paid for both April and May. By that time, the account was already 42 days late. Curacao's provision of information to the credit bureaus complies with applicable law, including without limitation the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and customers expressly acknowledge when they apply for Curacao credit that derogatory information may be reported if they default on their obligations. The accurate reporting of information about customers' performance (or non-performance) of their credit obligations plays a valuable role in the ****et for credit.Customer Answer

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint. We have reviewed the records of Mr. ********* account and did not find any errors in the account history. At the time of Mr. ********* last purchase on the account, On December 21, 2020, the account had a balance of $509.94. Mr. ******* made three payments for a total of $337.51, and received a credit of $19.19. These four credits did not cover the original balance of $509.94, let alone the finance charges and late fees that were added to the account. Furthermore, after the first purchase was made in this account on August 29, 2020, it has always had a balance, which means that the account could not have been closed at any point, and, currently, the account has a balance of $451.04.Initial Complaint

I have been making payments to this business. I noticed on my account to call to update. I did and spoke to ******, and was told my account is deactivated due to late payments. I have only been late one time, but caught up and nothing is due at time time. But they still not reactive my account, even though I am still making payments. **************** . I won but I won $600 off of free play. I did the playthrough tried to verify and cash out and they lied and said I had violations and opened multiple accounts. This is after they said they could not verify my account on the weekend. Then less then a minute later my winnings were gone. My ip address will show that I only have one account under my name at this casino. This company is operating decietfully and violating the fair gaming act. They had no intentions on paying me and claimed they closed all other accounts which is nonsense because I only had one but sent me an email stating that I can make a deposit with real money and can cash out when I reach $50. They don't even care to pay me but will still take my money and think I will play after they stole my winning there ***** many complaints of this same issue plaster throughout the internet where winnings was stolen from free play and this company has not yet been holed accountable. I believe that their united states gaming licensed should be revoked and all consumers who where deceived out of their winning be made whole. The fair gaming act forbids unfair gaming practices and this company is operating without any integrity and with malice and intent to defraud consumers be it paid or unpaid. I ask that you take a fine tooth comb and look into the operation provisions of this company and hold them accountable as they are operating outside the guidelines and provisions that were put in place to protect all consumers. I am putting herein copy of correspondence between me and agent , emails and other reviews from citizens who were defrauded out of their winnings in hope that they do what is right and pay back what was stolen. I am past due 114 days as of 10/7/2024, I called them to ask for options as i lost my job and can't make the minimum payment of $118. They said they are surprised my account hasn't been sold off to collections yet and that they currently DO NOT have a hardship program for customers. 1 i thought that my account be sold to a collections agency until after 120 days but for them to not have a hardship program as a credit card company is really difficult. I lost my job ...****** of 90 days ****
