1 starI cancelled and they disabled my ink cartridges. How could this be considered ethical or legal?Review fromDaniel P.

1 starHP All In plan... Extortion. Legal extortion and fraud is one of the main concepts of this monthly subscription that provides a printer and ink. The printers they provide are recycled some go back decades. The ink is the usual cost more than gold because they say so so you have to use the subscription service. Do not try.Review fromSUSAN N

1 starAbout 2 years ago I purchased and HP Printer and was told I had to use the "InstaInk" feature to use my printer. After signing up for the subscription and paying the fees to have my ink levels monitored but never receiving any ink from them I called to cancel my subscription. I have been trying to cancel this subscription since Dec 2023 and am still being charged a monthly fee. Every time I call, they tell me the prior month is the first time I called to cancel and that my call was in the middle of a billing cycle. So this will be my last fee, until the next month rolls around and I go through this process again.Review fromAlbrt C

1 starMarch 3, 2024 HP printer stopped working with my Hp laptop, After numerous hours, several support techs, 2 replacement printers sent to me, Hp gift cards worth $75.00 and a totally different printer purchased I still cannot connect a printer to a laptop.I was asked to check with my internet provider. They checked my router and system and no issues were found, About 10 days ago I rebooted an older laptop (3 yrs) and the new printer is working fine with the old laptop, This of course tells me the problem is in the laptop, NOT the printers.I have called Hp to get warranty service (Purchased 7/23/2023 - 1 year factory warranty and I purchased an additional 2 years) I was transferred to a department called "SMART FRIEND", They want to charge me an additional monthly fee to service and repair my laptop!Over 3 months trying to get my problem resolved and they want more money.Apparently, we are not allowed to file complaints with Hp corporate offices as we keep getting connected to someplace in ***** no matter what phone number we dial.I have been a long time Hp user and supporter, No longer. What has happened to Hp customer service?I want Hp to honor any and all warranties I have and to repair or replace my laptop AND an apology from some one in authority.Review fromJenna D

1 starI bought an HP 5101 Printer three months ago and loved it until the carriage broke. Because it was under warranty, they asked that I send it back which I did. Took a week for them to receive it. I called three times over the course of the following week asking when the replacement would be shipped and they told me that they had yet to register it as received on their end. Finally a new one was shipped out, received it a week later, so three weeks without a printer. Turns out, they do not give you a new printer, it is a refurbish. Of course, I went to use it and there is a massive problem with how it is printing (basically, it printed fine on plain paper but the color was printing only red on glossy paper which is the whole reason I purchased the printer). I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with them with the support person who maintained the whole time that all of their refurbished printers are tested to factory levels (if all was equal, why not just send me a new printer?) and that I had to send the printer back again to receive another. If the past wait time of three weeks is expected this time around, that will mean six weeks without a printer and interruption to my business. Because of this, I looked at the BBB's review of HP and am stunned that every single office is rated an "F." Be advised that they do not replace a broken printer under warranty with a new printer, that it will be a refurbished one, and expect to have a significant downtime in your work without a printer.Review fromAn T

1 starI bought the expensive ** Dragonfly laptop with the best characteristics directly from ** in February 2022, i.e. a bit over a year ago. In just a bit over a year, the flimsy plastic body cracked, keyboard keys started falling off, the battery almost died, and the laptop started overheating. The extended ** warranty that I had is supposed to cover such things, and to have between 3 and 10 business days turn around time. But after the laptop spent three weeks at ** service center with no news, I called them, and they said it is "customer damage". I never dropped the notebook, which means I damaged it by typing and carrying it in my backpack (and I carry it in a separate padded compartment, carefully). Now ** will only fix it after an over $1000 fee is paid, despite the warranty being active. They refuse to just replace the battery, for example, which is inside, cannot be damaged by a customer, and is mentioned in their warranty coverage. The ** customer service has been incredibly unhelpful throughout, and I am still trying to get the laptop back from them as it was. So beware...Review fromAlison W

1 starI have been unable to print since I canceled my HP Instant Ink subscription. They will not allow you to use the cartridges received from Instant Ink that I have paid for for months. That is theft. The only way I would have been able to print was to re-enroll, so I did. However she was not able to get me printing again. She was to escalate the issue with someone getting back to me in ***** hours. No call or email. Today, more that 72 hours later, I received a phone call with a vm from the same agent. The one that could not get me going the first time. I was in an all-day meeting and did not respond immediately. Less than 8 hours later I received an email saying they had not "heard from me lately" and that they were archiving the ticket. What on Earth. First they steal from me, then they cannot get me working. Then the just close the ticket. Really, what is wrong with them? I will NEVER by another HP product since they are incapable of being honest.Review fromLeah S

1 starMoney hungry and not worth the price. I have a printer that 90 percent of the time barely connects to print, it says printing but nothing comes out, or it says sending request but nothing happens. Many times I had to leave my house to go print at the neighbors just because my printer wouldnt connect with my documents. I downgraded two different times due to this issue and all of my rollover pages were taken. I paid for several months and barely printed. I should atleast be entitled to the pages that I paid for! I will be acceptable to even half of them. In almost 2 years you have had to send me ink twice. I do not want a refund. I would like my rollover pages, and then I will think about not dropping this company altogether.Review fromJustina S

1 starHP Instant ink is a scam. Your printer will become a hostage. I paid in monthly for 3.5 years. The price rose from 2.99 to 4.99 per month in that time. 66% price increase. During those nearly 4 years, I ran out of ink thus a false claim about care free printing. I had to pay extra for retail cartridges only to receive harassing emails that I am not supposed to use store bought ink. In 4 years I got a total of 2 each black and tricolor cartridges. Cancellation is awful. As soon as you cancel, big brother HP prohibits use of your own printer until you remove full instant ink cartridges from your printer and you urgently replace them with store bought cartridges. **************** is unhelpful. DO NOT BUY INSTANT INK
