I purchased flats worth $600 in 2019. It passed thru Poshmark's authentication as it is over $500. I also kept the authentication card/proof I received from Poshmark for the said flats. Last month, I reposhed this item as I've never used it, it sold and got sent thru authentication again. Poshmark rejected the same flats saying that they cannot confirm it as authentic and that I cannot list it back again for sale. I emailed them many times with proof on how it can pass thru the first time and now they cannot confirm authenticity?! I should be allowed to relist this item or get a refund. I have not heard back from them. Many emails later, Poshmark pretty much just ghosted me after the initial email of let me look into this.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Poshmark pretty much ignored and and ghosted me for months. They did nothing, because I didn't hear from them I decided to sell the said shoes for a loss on a different platform. No apologies were made to me for causing me stress, and no apologies were made for telling me I couldn't relist the said item when I have given them so much proof of them authenticating it the first time. It is not a small amount of money and I resold it for a loss because the shoes were reminding me of my terrible experience with Poshmark. I have not used Poshmark since then and I am not planning on doing so in the future. Their lack of customer service is atrocious.
And btw, Poshmark only responds to you after you file a complaint via BBB. They won't do anything even after sending multiple emails with the proof they ask for.

I took extra measures in verifying that the purse had been "heavily altered or was counterfeit altogether." I've been disputing this purchase since the day I received it. However, one of your "in house *********************** specialist has thoroughly reviewed the item and currently has no reason to believe that it is not authentic as the details are consistent with authentic *********************** pieces."
Please explain to me how anyone can authenticate an item from pictures a seller posts on the site versus what the buyer submits who has the item in hand. The evidence I submitted unequivocally trumps any claim by the seller that it's authentic.
However, Poshmark has decided to allow another party to defraud one of its loyal patrons. I do not agree nor support the mishandling of this transaction and have solicited a third party to review this oversight.

In purchased a J. Crew size small button down shirt on Poshmark. Item was advertised as a size Small. Upon receipt I tried the shirt on and couldn't button, I'm 5' & weigh 97 lbs, I have many J. Crew size Small button downs, this was not a size small. Looking for the size of the garment I realized the tags, that are sewn into every J Crew shirt had been carefully removed. Upon further research I learned this shirt was never sized by S,M,L, the sizing was *****, from measurements the shirt was a 00. Contacted seller who ignored my emails, filed a claim with Poshmark. Poshmark has an Iron Clad Return Policy, there's not a remote chance that my money would be refunded. I'm fortunate I've never had a bad experience with Poshmark until I did. After reading reviews and learning this is common, the company has no care or concern for the customer, once the money has been exchanged. Their concern is only ROI, while exploring customers. I've since cancelled my account and won't do business with them again. It wasn't a lot of money, total $25, it's the fact that I was clearly deceived, which feels awful. My heart goes out to those who can't afford to lose $25 dollars, as I know many who can't. In reading reviews this happens quite a bit, with little to no recourse. Not at all surprising, however, this is a blatant lie, sadly this is how this sham of a company operates.
I choose to spend my time not living in the past and not focusing on liars, cheats and thieves. I'm a strong believe in karma as well as the laws of physics, what goes around comes around. I'm old & have real life experience in how this works.

On September 5, 2022 I purchased a black ***** womans wallet, from @littlee1020, order 63164b6dd5d2c1255c89a19d, the order was delivered on September 10, 2022. The wallet is navy, not black, and is a mens wallet. The order was accidentally accepted as it appeared dark in color but when in the correct light, it was clearly NOT BLACK, as described. I reached out to @littlee1020 who provided the receipt for the wallet. The receipt shows it is a navy mens wallet as it has the color code for navy, ****. @littlee1020 refused to allow a return even though she shipped the wrong item and misrepresented it as a black womans wallet. Poshmark has been non responsive, and has condoned @littlee1020s cyber fraud by not acting and permitting a return or refund of my $440.01. I was scammed.Business Response

I'm writing a complaint because I am very disturbed that Poshmark is allowing this women to scam people out of tens of thousands of dollars on counterfeit goods. And they are profiting from illegal and fraudulent acts.I have been reporting these listing for atleast 7 months. Absolutely nothing has been done about it. This women is getting those "authentic " charms from Etsy for a few dollars, coming up with fake receipts- and then essentially robbing people blind.Poshmark states in THEIR OWN RULES ABSOLUTELY NO "REWORKED OR REPURPOSED" ITEMS ARE TO BE SOLD ON THEIR PLATFORM. Not only are innocent people being ripped off every single day. They allow her to do it with the trusted title of a "posh ambassador ". I trusted role in the posh community. While she is selling these pieces of fake jewelry with high prices- but much lower than what anyone selling authentic designer jewelry for- . The rest of us aren't able to sell outer high-end items with this person having too good to be true prices.We're losing business and she's bringing in $1000 + a week!But you don't care- you're getting your cut, right?I have contacted posh personally via email with pictures of what's going on. I'm either completely ignored or told they can assure me this "will be looked into".I worked really hard, as did others to become a posh ambassador and we are all beyond passed off this is going on.Your slogan is AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEED. As of today I have just checked and the ONE women I have made my complaint about for the past 8 months not only still has all her counterfeit items for sale, as legitimate luxury brand products attached in screenshots to you. She has continued to add more as recently as two days ago. She currently has 13 active counterfeit listing that you REFUSE to address and keep letting your customers get ripped off every single day. Your response is another generic excuse I have received many times regarding this issue. If you has taken ANY ACTION She would not continue to add more counterfeit items to her closet. I will not consider this case closed until the counterfeit items are removed for sale specifically to the person in question. I used the Poshmark platform to replace a pair of **** ****** shorts that were lost by my husband on vacation. I thought Poshmark would be a good place to find a pair of the **** shorts, of which ****** no longer makes that style. I found a pair, after using Poshmarks built in 'SEARCH' and 'FILTER' functions; specifically selecting **** (as opposed to boys, or women's); SELECTED the brand ADDIDAS, ****. The shorts arrived from the seller after me paying $11.00 for the product, and $5.95 for shipping. I contacted the seller with the complaint the shorts were misrepresented in the listing, in that they are BOYS and not ****. THE SELLER OFFERED to send me a refund. I have never order from Poshmark before nor this merchant. I set up a Poshmark account looking to purchase a light yellow dress. I found one on a merchant site of theirs named @2her2him.The dress on their site had beautiful photos of a light yellow dress and they advertised it as light yellow. The brand is ********************* and they did have a photo of the front of the tag (it is supposed to be new). They did not post a picture of the back of the tag which would include information such as serial numbers, etc... I offered a price and they accepted which I financed with Affirm. They order was delivered but it is not remotely light yellow at all. I do not think it is the same dress they advertised either. The dress I got is pumpkin/golden yellow and looks old. I checked the back on my tag then looked back at their site to see if the tag matched (serial numbers/item number) but they did not have a picture of it. I immediately notified the merchant and filed a dispute with Poshmark per their own Posh Protect policy which states "We back each purchase with Post Protect. If your order is not as described when you received it, we will help you return it and refund your entire purchase price." The merchant said they would not accept the return and Poshmark said they would not approve the return and marked the sale as complete meaning I have to pay for the dress now. After contacting the seller I now feel that they advertised one dress and sent me another.Business Response

I have been selling with Poshmark for years and have been happy with the site until recently. I sold an expensive pair of brand new louboutins that were never worn or even tried on. Due to the price, they went to Poshmark Authentication. I shipped them nicely and exactly how I received them from the original retailer. Each individually wrapped in tissue paper in individual dustbags. The buyer said there was damage and that the shoes were not received as I described which means during the authentication process they were not packaged properly or were damaged prior to sending the item to the buyer. Poshmark approved the return and are now sending me back a damaged pair of shoes which is completely their fault. In this case, they should approve the buyers return and compensate me for the sale when the damage was due to their carelessness.Business Response

I started selling authentic Versace on posh 4 years ago &problems only got worse year to year. Posh authentication team removed more than 50 items atleast because they thought they were fake, but didnt explain how other then they say so. I have receipts and all to prove else wise, they didnt care. The customer service is as slow as can be, they are the worst customer service experience Ive ever been out through, the worst experience altogether being harassed basically by poshmark for 4 years. They started to even remove items without telling me and I had to do inventory to find they removed my item without saying a word! I kept trying to give this site chances, I used my own money to start selling and they decided that I cannot sell on their site because they dont understand what communication is, they rather have you shut up and not talk to people. Then dont have a way to talk to people, if you constantly re-write freedom of speech. I never threatened anyones life or anything like that. I put hours of hard work taking photos , looking for items to sell and make money. Poshmark makes 20% of sellers the most of all sites. Youd think they appreciate a seller who has a 4.9 rating out of 5. Over 200 5 star reviews. And average ship time of 1 day or 0.9 days. No they could care less if your the best seller and well respected. No wonder the BBB wont accredit this company. Major pain in the ****. Avoid this site as a buyer and seller. Reminds me of *********** maybe less pedophiles. Not really cuz I still got hit on by weird old guys. The site is full of it. They make it seem easy to sell and buy, but its far from that. The number of problems caused by poshmark ineptitude to do best by their sellers and even their buyers. I bought something once, and it was a completely differently item. I am rejecting this response because: It doesn't back up or validate why they suspended my account so i can never sell anything on their platform again. I have ******* thousands of dollars of items to sell and the site wont give a clear acceptable reason, why they harassed me my whole time using the site , 4 years. And then moved to bar me from using the site in which I made a lot of connections, that i have lost now cause its hard to stay in touch with anyone you talk to when your barred from the app. its sickens me that a top seller can be treated like a nobody, yet all these fake sellers of clothes get a slap on the wrist. Sad days when this company cant turn a profit too, what a joke. Im beyond fed up with the lack of competency at this company and the horrific management. They never explain why they do things they just do them. Poshmark has truly played with my income by removing 100s of listings' that took me hours/days/months to put up and maintain. I was making on average ******* per month. Poshmark either needs to reinstate my account and let this all go. Either way this goes, this whole process of poshmark shutting me out from selling, i don't have time to just set up again on other sites, have kids, and work during the day. I am rejecting this response because:Ive been harassed and poshamark didnt protect me. I didnt violate terms, youd guys made up new rules and decided you dont want me selling. Thats why you harassed my account for years taking authentic Versace down without even letting me know. You are a sneaky bunch and I dont trust anything you say. Your word means nothing. If I had the time I would take you to court. My lawyer said it isnt worth the time. But poshmark better be careful. Any class action lawsuit and Ill be joining for violation of my freedom of speech. Nothing can supersede freedom of speech, the constitution is the law of the land. Based of this you would lose the court case. The fact you have no care for a seller like me with high ratings and customers love me read my love nuts. But hey no yummy guys could care less how respected I am on your site and how many people I had connections with. You guys killed that. I cant even get in touch cause you blocked my communication. Thats beyond messed up. You guys cant help yourself a at just not wanting to help out a great seller on your site, cuz community guidelines??? Thats a joke and so is poshmark. You wont re-instate me then you will regret the day you kicked someone like me off your platform, karma is no fun, enjoy her. I dont wish bad upon anyone. But if you take the money out of my pocket like poshmark has and time I spent on the site all a waste. Poshmark needs to be investigated further, the company reeks of corruptions and not doing things legally( removing authentic Versace items without reason) and said to me I made a statement that another person made to me. They are so confused they dont know up from down its bad. I wonder why you guys cant turn a profit in any quarter since you IPOd, get you acts together please, killing you own image and nobody wants to use your platform because they way you treat us. Terrible company most my friend sellers have 2-3 accounts . But Im not willing to give you guys another dime . Id rather die first. Worst retail sales company EVER.

On September 5th I bought a vintage ***** handbag from a seller (Pretty Bird ***) on Poshmark. The bag was represented with some minor scuffs but in overall good condition but the listing mentioned nothing about the smell. When I received the bag it was in unusable condition and the smell was disgusting. The bag reeked of mold/mildew/basement- like smell. The stench is so strong I cant use the bag. On 9/9 I submitted a claim to Poshmark to return bag and request a refund due to sellers misrepresentation of the condition of the bag. Poshmark provided poor customer service and would not allow me to return the bag (mostly bc the horrendous stench couldnt be appreciated by their picture only system.) 9/12 Poshmark closed the case and accepted the order on my behalf. They told me I could try to rePosh the bag but I would NEVER scam someone into buying this gross bag. Poshmark has stopped responding and I would like a refund.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I disagree that smell is subjective. When the smell is so disgusting that the bag is unusable condition and that is no where mentioned in the sellers ad that is a problem. I would be more than happy to have anyone verify the smell. It is still sitting on an enclosed back porch/three seasons room while this is resolved because the smell is so horrible and mold-like I cant have it in my home for me and my pets to breathe in. I am so disgusted by your poor customer service and only wish that I saw your BBB site before I utilized your app. It speaks volumes that you have 1 star in well over ********************************************************************* a refund.

I am rejecting this response because:The Item was ABSOLUTELY misrepresented. The item description did not note anything about an odor and was listed in useable, good, vintage condition which it is not. I have taken the bag to a dry cleaner and they said they would not be able to get rid of the stench of mildew because it is so strong. I am requesting a refund before I pursue legal action for fraudulent misrepresentation.
