1 starThe EA Support line is completely broken. I've gone to their website, logged in, and opened a case. I get the option to chat with a rep. I selected this option and nothing happened. I can go to "My Cases" and click on my case. I can then see the Full Transcript of the chat, and I see that a rep has replied. Yet I have no way to reply back. I click on "Resume Case" and am brought to a screen with Help Articles that are not helpful - no chat option anymore. The site never opened a chat window at any point. I have repeated this same process in 3 different browsers. There is no number to call. There doesn't appear to be an email option for my issues. This has been an utter nightmare, and I've gotten nowhere after spending hours trying to just get help. Their PC application is terrible, and it seems that their support system is even worse.Review fromScott P

1 starBack in December/January, the Madden 23 servers went down and deleted franchises that were played during the downtime. Unfortunately, I had multiple franchises get deleted. EA then reached out to these consumers, including myself, and said that they would be offering 50% off of Madden 24 for these customers and free closed beta access. I received beta access to both closed betas, so I know I was apart of this group of consumers. Then EA said you could claim your 50% off of Madden 24 through a link in the Madden 23 game menu. I saw that and gave it a try. I was only getting 10% off for having EA Play. I tried AT LEAST once a week to claim my 50% off. I know it was working for others, as my friends were able to claim it. I figured I'd reach out to EA so I visited their help website. Here I was greeted with 3 options for contact: Email, Live Chatting, or their Help Forums. I tried Live Chatting, but it requires you select a platform you are having issues on. Their drop down didn't have any options so it was impossible to proceed. I looked up solutions to this and they said to try different devices and browsers, in which I tried on my PC on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. On my laptop on Chrome and Edge. And on my phone on Safari. Nothing worked. So I tried the email link. Exact same problem. So I then looked at forums. Many people had the same problem and their response was "Contact EA Help." They then never responded to any of the 20 pages of complaints that they couldn't contact EA Help and couldn't get 50% off. I then found their direct EA help email, which I got responses on my original email, then never got a reply. Both times. Now the 50% deal is over, and there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY to contact EA. So not only did I lose all of my hard work, I wasn't able to claim my 50% off for my troubles. I've been playing madden for 18 years. Feels like customers don't even matter anymore.Review fromNyni L

1 starZERO stars should be an option. This company is fraudulent and have no problems stealing peoples money. I purchased SEVERAL **** DLCs back in 2019 on their Origin platform, totaling over $118. For a period of time, I stopped playing...until THIS SUMMER. When I tried to log back in, my account did not exist. NOTHING was left. I created a new account anticipating being able to redownload what I had already purchased but NOTHING. Nothing to be redownloaded. Everything wiped. I have used the same email for the past 13 years and after a whole two month runaround, all I'm told is "there's no account linked to that email". The ONLY way for them to refund my money or give me what I purchased is an order number from five years ago that was linked to an account THEY deleted. I have no ******************** how the **** this company is still operating. This is not a unique situation to me as there are hundreds of other reviews here that express the same problem. They need to be audited and scrutinized heavily by the *** and violation of *** rules and regulations. The public needs to ban together and file a class action lawsuit against this FRAUDULENT company. What a fcken nightmare.Review fromAlexandra A

Be wary of purchasing a game from this horrible company... Despite their "Great Game Guarantee" they sneak into the fine print of certain (known buggy) games that they won't allow you to cancel an order or give you a refund even if you haven't downloaded the game yet!! EA has stolen my money.Electronic Arts, Inc.

EA lost my account. I have had it for years. Then the customer service rep straight up lied to me saying that my account had never been associated with an EA account. Thieves, scam artists, and ******.Electronic Arts, Inc.

This company is awful. This seem to be irresponsible with all of their digital content. I've had a game that I purchased via Steam and have played for the past 2 and a half years, and now the game will not work, and EA has NO way to contact support to help fix the issue. Yes, its a $40 game, yes I've "played it" but once I BUY the game, is the game not my own? Its the principle of the thing. Zero Stars. Worst company I've ever heard of.Electronic Arts, Inc.

EA sports is a totally fraud company . I bought ****23 game on 7/9/23 . The game never opened . The game just hung at the **** 23 screen and that's it . We re-installed it several times , contacted the customer support (which doesn't seem to exist) . When I started asking for refund , random people from ***** will respond do this , do that . They would not talk about refunding at all . This company should not exist. It's just scamming people . They are following unfair business practices .Electronic Arts, Inc.

1 starEA literally stole my account, due to my ISP closing down many years ago I had forgotten my email address for that ISP, I had multiple accounts on that setup, EA could not find my account due to this, I was told if I managed to remember my account to come back to them and they would sort it. Well I remembered recently and went back to sort it to be told that unless they could send an email to the now dead ISP that my account was linked to that I couldn't get the account back. Then I was told that "due to inactivity" EA had closed my account and regardless if I had access to that eMail address or not there is now no way I could get it back. There are games on there I have paid for and literally never played. EA may as well have reached into my wallet and stolen cash from me because that is effectively what they have done.Review fromMike B

1 starThey have Closed Origin and WILL NO LONGER support the Origin Games. I have been playing ********************** for many years, first as a stand alone program, then when origin bought it. I have been able to play it with no problems until about 6 months ago. EA(Electronic Arts) closed out Origin and put C&C on their EA App. since then I have had nothing but trouble. about three weeks ago now (Jun 2023) It stopped opening altogether. I AM SO P____D OFF AT EA. At this point I wouldn't buy one of their products if they paid me. And I recommend that no one else does either. They produce JUNK, No Quality. If you enjoy headaches and stress and being accused of sabotage by someone you gifted then by all means buy one of their crap! Games. I still have **** characters left, so rather than stop now, I believe I will continue expressing just how disappointed and angry I am at their incompetence when it comes to programming, being that I am a Programmer. I don't write game programs because that's not my field and it is not their field either. ****** and buffoons could do a better job. SAVE YOUR MONEY. There are other game platforms that are stable and reliable. Do just a little research and you can find them. A V O I D E A A T A L L C O S T S ! I still have 723 characters left to describe how inept, greedy and careless the EA(Electronic Arts) company is. They refuse to comment, provide feedback or even acknowledge their errors dealing with the "Origin" applications that they have a responsibility to support. People like me bought these programs in "Good Faith" and they are ignoring our pleas for basic customer support. C&C started out as stand alone, meaning there was no "Internet" involved. I would be fine going back to that. All EA has to do is return the code to where it was before they squashed Origin. So that to run the game there would be no need to verify through the internet. it would run from the RA.exe/RA2.exe files using the ssleay32.dll file. H E L PReview fromWayne R

1 starThe worst company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. I hate their new app so much , 2 of my all time favorite games Mass Effect and Dragon Age I have uninstalled even though I have replayed them millions of times, **** 4 which I stupidly spent hundreds of dollars on extras. I will never play them or any other EA game if it has to be through their app which does not work at all. This company is the Grinch that stole gaming pleasure.
