      I went into a contract with Sunpower to lease my solar panels in January 2016. Recently, the company has gone bankrupt and is switching to a new servicer Sunpower Financial. During this transition all customers were told to onboard to the new portal. I have done so since August 2024. My complaint is that based on the original contract in 2016, if I am making autopayments the monthly leasing fee of $142.90 would be reduced by $7.50 if i enroll in the autopayment system. I have been enrolled in the autopayment system since the beginning of my lease and have only been paying $135.40 a month. During the switch to the new portal, they have an autopay option but only for the $142.90. The past two months I've been charge the extra fees and concern this will be ongoing. I have unsuccessfully been able to get in touch with a human or through their email portal to assist me with this issue. My lease doesn't end until 2036 which will mean I'd be paying thousands and thousands of extra dollars without the autopay discount.

      Back in Feb 2024 I started calling and emailingsun power. I have reached out to them over 30 times since with empty promises of we will send someone to your location. The issue is this- over the last year my panels have not been generating the kind of production I was promised, and my lease states. Also, it shows that I only have 34 of my 36 panels registering into the system. ********* has acknowledged many times that there is indeed an issue and continues to fill me with empty promises of having a tech come out and work on the issue. Over the last year I have spent over $1,000 with the local utility company in over use because of this issue, while also paying my lease monthly with sun power on time. I have tried everything to get a response to figure out this issue.Sunpower is not acting in good faith . Before i takelegal action i am hoping this issue can be resolved amicably. I am Hopeful with your help this will have a more positivity outcome. Thank you for your time.

      We are needing to get a lease transferred for the sale of the home the solar equipment is installed on. We have been trying for weeks to get ahold of someone via email and phone with minimal to no response. The closing of the sale of this transaction is on October 11th, 2024 (8 days from today). We just need someone to contacted us so that we can get this taken care. The sellers/owners of the house with the installed solar panels are elderly and need to be moved to proper housing for quality of life. Any help we can receive in this matter is greatly appreciated. If we cannot get this done ASAP we will not be able to move them into suitable housing. Thanks

      I am selling my home and we are scheduled to close on 10/18/24. Once we entered escrow we reached out the SunPower, completed the required information through Launch on 9/20 and I have not heard from them. At this time we are just trying to transfer the lease to the Buyer and by not getting this done by 10/10/24 we are risking falling out of escrow. Time is of the essence!

      I HAVE HAD THIS ************* FOR MORE THAN FIFTEEN YEAR NOW.. EACH TIME ANYTHING GOES WRONG ITS MONTHS AND MONTHS TILL I GET ANY OUT AND MORE TO GET THE PROBLEMS FIXED. THE COMPANY WAS OUT BACK IN FEBRUARY THIS YEAR AND STATED I NEEDED A PART. IT WILL BE TILL AUGUST TILL I GET THE PAR.T. THEY WILL CONTACT YOU IN AUGUST TO PLACE THE PART IN. WELL IT PAST AUGUST AND I CAN'T GET AN ANSWER FROM THEM AS THEY FILED IN THE MEANTIME CHAPTER 11. I HAVE MESSAGED THEM AND NOW THE MESSAGES ARE NO LONGER IN PLACE AND THE PHONE IS A 45 MINUTE WAIT TO BE TRANSFERED TO A NO LONGER BEING USED ANSWERING MACHINE. THEY SAY I HAVE A PRICE TO GIVE ME RETURN MONIES ON THE RUNNING OF MY UNIT WHEN IT DOES NOT MEET THE COST OF THE ELECTRICITY AS WELL. THIS THEY SAY IS NO LONGER? IN EFFECT AND OTHERS I HAVE SPOKEN TO AT SUNPOWER SAY IT IS. i PAY MY BILL AND HAVE BEEN STUCK WITH A HUGE AMOUNT OF COST FROM ****** IN THE YEAR END. I WOULD LIKE MY UNIT TO WORK AS IT IS AT HALF CAPACITY FOR MONTHS NOW IN 100 PLUS HEAT., I WOULD LIKE BY INCENTIVE AS WELL FOR THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS TOO. MOST OF ALL I WANT TO GET THIS RESOLVED IN A TIMELY MANNER.

      We are currently in an escrow transaction and we have been trying to get a Transfer and Assumption to the new owner (we also need a lien release and UCC Termination) from SunPower which apparently filed bankruptcy and all or most of their files went to Launch Servicing. I have spoken to Launch Servicing since August 12, 2024 our escrow file had to have been closed already however Launch Servicing is holding up the closing by not providing us the documentation needed. Every time I call them they say nothing has been done and that they are backed up since SunPower had an issue. They advised me that they have ***** days to even look at my file. At this point my escrow has been opened since July 30, 2024 and the buyer and seller are getting worried about the closing.

      We have a Contract to sell our house at above address with leased SunPower system with Closing scheduled for Oct.17 and buyer intends to assume the lease. We (and realtor, and title company) have been trying to get a response from SunPower for several weeks with no response. We need SunPower to discontinue our lease and transfer to buyer in time for Oct.17 closing. Help!!!

      Solar system is not producing the guaranteed wattage I have reported this several times to the company (prior to chapter 11) and nothing has been done about it. I would like for the payments on my lease to be credited until I have an operational system.

      Need Sunpower to finish lease transfer to new buyer. House stuck in escrow due to Sunpower taking up to 60 days to do lease transfer. I want them to finish!!

      Hi. Thank you. They finally came through but so many other people trying to close escrow are having to wait 30 to 60 working days. This is so unacceptable. My escrow was supposed to close on 9/16 finally closed on 10/28 and cost me and the buyer lots of money with the delay.

      I have a solar lease with SunPower. I am under contract to sell my home and I need to either transfer the lease to the new buyer or buy out my system. However, despite many attempts to reach the SunPower Life Transition team (which was taken over by ***************** I have not been able to get anyone to help me. Because SunPower places a *** filing on leased systems, I am unable to sell my home until the *** lien is released. I first reached out to SunPower in August, but still have not heard back. I need help getting this resolved.
