      August 24th 2024 I filled a complain with BBB about sunpower. I was aware of their bankruptcy but it was impossible to get in touch with them. I had a manager calling me ************** she said that someone would get in touch and help me. It never happened. I reported to sunpower the passing of my husband and asked the customer service at that time what I needed to do because the contract was under my husband's name prior our marriage but since his passing the property had been transferred to me. The customer service said that I didn't have to do anything unless I was selling the property. I tried to get in touch with Sunpower but I had no luck until finally someone picked up the phone. She was very rude and refused to talk to me because my name was not on contract. She gave me a fax number and asked me to fax death certificate, proof that the property was under my name. I did. Never got a phone call or a letter. I'm not receiving invoices anymore so I have to send check and write the invoice myself. I called back a few days ago and again a very rude man was on the line and said they could not find the fax so for me to send back proof of my husband passing. I mailed it this time certified by mail. They still have not refunded production guarantee $426.09. I do understand that they have filled bankruptcy but still there is no need to treat customers so poorly. They don't send invoices, they don't want to talk to you!! You have to pay a bill of $195/month for solar panels that are not producing what they said they would in contract and you have to be quiet! Their bankruptcy is their problem! customers are still there and not taking care of. We had problems with sunpower for a long time with defective product. My husband did not know. He signed a contract with a subcontractor at a flea market. He did it in good faith but here we go problems have been passed to me and sunpower refuse to communicate! This is a shame that military veterans are treated that way!!

      We want to be able to monitor how much power our solar system is producing, but after we installed a new router the Sunpower monitoring website will not recognize us. The installer has been out to diagnose the problem but is unable to connect us. Sunpower filed for bankruptcy months after our system was installed. We paid in full and should be able to access their website.

      I purchased a home 7 years ago with solor panels installed by *********. 3-5 months ago the solor panels are no longer showing communication with my electric company and my bills have been much higher than months/years before. I have reached out to SunPower and they walked me to through some things to try and this did not resolve the issues. They stated they are not **** to send anyone out to fix the issue, due to to a sell currently in place. I have since tried reaching out to Sunpower by phone and e-mail and still have been reached out from them.Only thing i want is for the issue to be resolved.

      Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against SunPower Corporation for their unacceptable delays in processing the transfer of our solar lease, which is now directly impacting the timely closing of escrow on the sale of our home.We began the process of transferring the lease on October 25, *********************************************************************************************** a timely manner, SunPower has failed to complete the transfer within a reasonable timeframe. Repeated attempts to contact their customer service team have been met with vague assurances and a lack of actionable progress.This delay is causing significant financial and emotional stress. The closing of escrow on our home, originally scheduled for November 25, 2024, has now been delayed due to SunPowers inaction. This has not only inconvenienced us but also the buyers, agents, and other parties involved in this transaction.I believe SunPowers lack of urgency and communication is highly unprofessional and does not align with their advertised claims of providing exceptional customer service. As such, I am requesting the Better Business Bureau to investigate this matter and assist in resolving the issue promptly. Specifically, I am seeking:1.Immediate completion of the lease transfer process.2.A formal apology and explanation for the delay.3.Measures from SunPower to prevent such delays for future customers.Thank you for your attention to this matter.       We have panels on our home the company has gone bankrupt and we need a new roof we are still being charged $89 a month the panels are not working and we need to know how to get these off to get a new roof. No phone numbers work the ap doesn't work we do not know what more to do ad we need your help. I am thinking about calling the bank to stop payment since I am paying for panels that don't work.

      SunPower installed solar panels on my roof and did not finish the project. They filed for bankruptcy and refuse to complete the project. The third party that did the job (Centurion) keep giving me the run arounds. Please advise.

      SunPower customer service is very unresponsive, neglected and irresponsible way of handle customer inquiries. I need an affirmative letter from SunPower in order to close an equity loan. I wrote a message and I have a ticket number for 3 weeks and there is no other way to communicate other than online and there is no answer at all.

      Hello, my account number is:*********** I have one panel doesnt work right now I was email to sunpower company, nobody ********** the same time, the solar power generation did not meet the estimated kWh in the contract at that time, which resulted in me overpaying the **** I need sunpower pay for the additional shortfall in electricity production.1 year estimate: *****kwh divide 365= 31kwh And now only produce 20kwh average Its big difference for a year , so I have to pay extra to PGE cover the fee I pay for the *** since they cant produce that much and they guaranteed on the contract.I need their company CONTACT me

      The solar company refused to comply to a service on my solar system request since last year due to the system not working also refused to provide me full contract of the lease refused to respond to my request of removal of they non working system. Refused to remove panel from my roof.refuse to remove lean from my home for me to sale and refused to provide specific information requested from them that I may sale my home for 9 months as of today.they over charge me for 3 years my contract stated 166 a month they charge 173.

They are not a customer of ********* and doesn't mention our companys name. We do hope they get their complaint to the correct company and wish them the best of luck. Please remove this complaint.
