The solar company refused to comply to a service on my solar system request since last year due to the system not working also refused to provide me full contract of the lease refused to respond to my request of removal of they non working system. Refused to remove panel from my roof.refuse to remove lean from my home for me to sale and refused to provide specific information requested from them that I may sale my home for 9 months as of today.they over charge me for 3 years my contract stated 166 a month they charge 173.Business Response

The solar subordination for refinance was submitted on 10.08.24. After 34 days it has not been completed. The ******** stands to lose money to relock the loan again. Also this puts the borrower in a hardship position as its a cash out refinance and money is needed from refinance for an very important family need. Date of solar lease transfer request: 10/22/24 I am in the process of selling my home my close of escrow date was set for 11/8. All documentation from the buyers and seller and lender had been completed and sent to Sunpower a few weeks ago and we have been waiting for Sunpower to process the transfer in order to close escrow. I requested a transfer of my solar lease from SunPower on 10/22 the day after signing the offer on my home and did not receive a response so proceeded to call Sunpower who, finally after a week of no correspondence, initiated the process. Since then, I, the title company, my agent, and lender have been contacting Sunpower daily to get updates and have been met with unclear responses and uncertainty. From the beginning I informed Sunpower that my escrow close date was set for 11/8. At the beginning of this week, we were informed that my file had been pushed to the escalation team. However the process has not moved forward and file has been sitting with the escalation team since then. Sunpower has had all of the documentation required to complete my transfer however with each call no forward movement is being made. In addition The customer service representatives have been handling the case very poorly and often not documenting important pertinent details to my file causing me to have to provide them with the same information repeatedly. I understand the company has filed bankruptcy, however it appears that this business is not following any standard procedures. I have requested to speak to a supervisor on multiple occasions and have been told there was none available at that time. Sunpower/launch services has caused me a significant amount of stress as they are now jeopardizing me falling out of escrow.Initial Complaint

On October 28th, we requested a transfer of ownership to Sunpower. Our home is in escrow and supposed to close on Nov. 21. Due to the delay on Sunpowers part, our buyers are considering backing out of the home purchase. Please help expedite this matter.Initial Complaint

Sunpower business had went bankrupt this summer and switched to new financial collectors, but is still opperating as "Sunpower". In that transfer there was an error in how my payments transferred and they're saying I did not make a payment for August, though I did and have bank records to prove it. The following month they pulled a double payment without my authorization, so I withdrew my automatic payments since I was overpaid (though they don't see that due to their own error). So I'm only paying one month at a time now as I know I'm due. But due to that one month they think they were not paid, they are harrasing me about being delinquent. There's no customer service and all the help tickets I put in over a month ago+ are constantly ignored and they send me emails and phone calls stating I owe money when I do not. I've have spent so many hours trying to discuss this over the phone with them and by email, but they say the help ticket(s) have to process before they can help with this and end it there. It's soon likely to poorly reflect on my credit since they will not help me resolve this. I need help with this since this company is completely at fault here and are not making it right for me. They've formally given me so many issues with service and I hate that I'm stuck with them by terms of my lease, but I'm stuck and need help with this.Initial Complaint

The sale of my and my wifes house at *********************************************************************************** was completed on August 13, 2024. At that time, both the property and the lease of the SunPower solar panels at that property were transferred to the new owners. All our outstanding debts to SunPower were paid out of escrow at the closing. My wife and I have since moved into assisted living but SunPower has continued to bill us monthly for services at our old address. They mail us bills there (which the post office forwards), even though SunPower agents processed the paperwork for the transfer of the panels and know we no longer live there and are presumably billing the current owners for services as well. SunPower in October even tried electronically withdrawing funds from my bank account. Luckily the bank caught the error (I had stopped payments to SunPower in late August) and they reversed the payment. I owe no money to SunPower and am beginning to feel harassed. Neither my efforts nor the effort of my daughter, ******* ********, my power of attorney, have succeeded in getting them to stop billing us. They do not answer their posted phone numbers or respond to emails. I am afraid my credit is going to suffer when I have done nothing wrong. I request the BBBs intervention to get SunPower to acknowledge its error to us, apologize, and stop billing us. I am highly disappointed in this company. It started by a sales person for Sunpower that came to my door asking if Id like to add solar panels to my existing system I had. After going back and forth with him several times he told me something that sold me. He mentioned that I would receive an incentive / check from either SCE or SunPower by having a battery installed in my garage so I decided to get it as well along with 20+ panels. Well just recently SCE emailed me and told me that in order to receive that incentive I had to apply for a certain program and change my current plan. I was enrolled in the CARE program with SCE which saved me a substantial amount and came with perks as well ie. no late fees, monthly installments at a fixed price. It was a great plan. However *** advised me that in order for me to receive the inventive I had to change over for the **** program to be able to get the incentive. I agreed and switched my plan since that incentive would be able to help me out. Well after I changed the plan, *** soon approved my change and mentioned the incentive amount of $1,716.45.00. It was soon later discovered that I was lied to by there sales ***resentative. Since I emailed sunpower and they said that the above amount will go to them and they would keep it in full and I would get Nothing ! That is completely unfair and illegal I would say. I would say this was Bait and Switch since their sales ***resentative said I would get that money which wasnt true ! The sales *** even called their dispatch / manager and they themselves confirmed over the phone that I would receive that check and it was all lies ! So now I no longer have the CARE plan that was helping me out greatly and I got nothing !! That was the only reason I gave this company a chance to give them my business ! I need them to make this right and give me the money I was promised ! If not I will seek legal council and file a lawsuit for several things they violated !Initial Complaint

I bought solar panels from sunpower solar 2022 in amount of about ****** and I got a 25yr warranty. Now my panel ain't working properly and I can't get in contact with no one. In July I contacted SunPower about my panels being out. Case #********. I have had no contact by SunPower. I have emailed my ***** ******** | Project Administrator 10 times and have heard nothing back. This month by bill was $300+ what it had been, which tells me that the system is not working and I want to be refunded for this month and probably next month since it takes them forever.
I want them to send someone out to fix the system and keep to their warranty. My next step would be a class action lawsuit.Initial Complaint

I am currently in escrow to purchase a property that has a solar lease owned by SunPower. The account number that the house solar is for is #**********. My purchase is currently being held up significantly because of the solar transfer and contract documents. My lender requires the contract, or at least a good description of the terms on the solar transfer agreement, but none of these are available from the seller of the house. The documents are taking an extremely long time (~2 weeks already) to be delivered with no resolution in sight. We were supposed to close today (04 November) and if this delays much longer, I'm at risk of losing my locked in rate (costing me thousands of dollars to keep, or even more if I take a new rate), I'm at risk of being homeless since I've given notice to leave my current residence, and even more issues that would take too much space to write. How long does it take to find a PDF and get it emailed? There has been multiple attempts to contact and get resolution from escrow, the seller, the realtors, and myself (the buyer), with multiple ticket numbers being opened (Solar Contract Ticket #*******, Solar Transfer Ticket #******* and #******).
