      We signed a lease contract with SunPower January 2015. They have been taking money out every month, yet our system has been down since about April 2024. We have contacted them several times and they have said several times that they have a work order sent to the installer *** Self Installation and they will call us to schedule an appointment. I understand SunPower has since filed for bankruptcy. Our SDGE bill is growing and we are still paying the lease on solars that have needed service for months now. Our case number is ********. I would like them to repair our system or take their solars back so that we can go with a more reliable company that will hold their end of the contract. I would also like so see our SDGE bill payed since they said that it will be compensated.

      I am the buyers agent. The seller sold his home to my buyers and we are due to close escrow 10-30-24 and all we are waiting for is the solar lease transfer to be completed, but are getting nowhere and can't ever get a straight answer. The seller, buyer, and listing agent have all called numerous times and been on hold for hours, just to get nowhere when someone finally answers... any help would be amazing! PLEEEEEEEASE. The buyers interest rate lock is due to expire also, so we really need this done asap. Thank you for any assistance you can give us.

      I have been trying to refinance my mortgage since the end of June. It is now October.

      I started my "first" refiance around June 26th, 2024. The mortgage company had to close it out almost 2 months later because the mortgage company thought the title company that was working with them on the refinance wasn't doing their job with the sunpower lease Subordination. The mortgage company closed that refinance application to update my interest rate because it was a little better than the prior one. Moving onto the "second" refinance application, I am in the same boat with the communication with Sunpower and the Subordination. The escrow/title team can not seem to get everything they need from sunpower to finish my refinance. If they close this application Sunpower will cost me hundred of dollars more a month due to the interest rates rising in the past 2 months.

      Side note: At the beginning I had to search forums to find a way to even get ahold of anyone at Sunpower. The company that took over their billing and customer service is called ****** *********, if that helps anyone trying to get ahold of them, because they don't tell you this on their site.

      On 10/21/24 I submitted an application to transfer lease on Sunpower website with New Ticket Created: *******. I called multiple times, used multiple phones to get through to speak with an agent and it takes 6-26 minutes to get a hold of an agent everytime I call or the Escrow officer calls. Escrow/Title company (authorized representative) also tried calling and was told that I did not submit an application which is not true because I have the ticket number that I did. I am currently on escrow and this is the problem we are dealing right now. We need close the escrow asap. It is frustating to be on this situation where you can get an accurate answer or update from the agents. I was also told by the agent that it takes 30-60 days for the transfer and I just have to wait which is unbelievable. I really need to sell this house and I'm begging for your help. ****** ********* did absolutely nothing so far just ticket numbers and no updates. I just need to transfer my lease to the buyer, that is only my request.

      I am in the process of selling my house and the current solar lease must be transferred to the buyers in order to close escrow. It's been 30+ days since we started this process and SunPower (now called Launch Servicing) has been giving us the runaround over and over again, we are calling multiple times a day and waiting hours on hold, only to receive the same "we've escalated this issue to our managers" update and false promises that the transfer documents would be sent out. First they said we would have that documentation in our email by 10/11/2024, then they said by 10/19/2024 and to this day (10/21/2024), they have not performed yet. I demand this company to finish the transfer process immediately, I am leaving the country for a medical procedure and this delay is not only costing me thousands of dollars but it may also cost me these buyers to walk away from this transaction.

      Hello, I have had the services of Sunpower for a few years this company has recently filed banckruptcy. I have tried to communicate multiple times through phone and email for months to let them know I do not wish to continue service with this new company ********* management that has purchased Sunpower. Again I have made multiple attempts and they are still invoicing me and threatened to turn it into a collection agency. Could someone please help me with this issue

      We have been attempting to do a lease transfer for solar to a new buyer on our home. SunPower has not responded with our request, and the current buyers with whom we are in escrow are threatening to cancel escrow due to SunPower's lack of communication about the lease transfer. We initiated a lease transfer with previous buyers on 9/18/24 and then again on 10/7/24 with the new escrow. We have received no word from Sunpower at all for either. We cannot sell our home at this time, in large part due to SunPower not responding to the request for the transfer. This means we are stuck with two mortgage payments and financial hardship. SunPower has taken down all ways to contact them on their website other than submitting forms, and the only number we were able to find to talk with a "live person" was ************** which was given to us in an email. The representative we spoke with told us that SunPower is taking ***** days to process all claims, which is outside the scope of 30 day escrows. We wish for the lease to be transferred in a timely manner by October 31st.

      In February 2024 a power outage creating a surge that broke all our inverters on our solar panels. After five months, Sunpower was finally able to come out and replace the inverters. While they were working on replacing the inventors, the Tech broke off our guards that protect our solar panels from becoming a birdhouse. At that visit, I have on camera the Sunpower tech promising that they would come back and fix the bird guards at no charge to us (the cost to install was $700). That visit was back in March. It is now mid October. They have availability to be reached at customer service and I have emails and text messages to prove that they did not show up to the scheduled appointment to fix the bird guards as promised. Now they claim that they do not do any residential work and have left us with no options

      I bought my home in 2018 and took over the lease with SunPower ************. I have not had any issues until now. I received a letter dated August 5th,2024 stating that they are partnering with Launch Servicing a third party. Its stated if you are signed up for *** there is nothing I needed to do. The the first week in September my solar stopped working stating no grid. You can not submit a servicing ticket through the app or with the number they have provided. I did try to go where they say you can go to submit a ticket but it takes you to a website that is not working. I have tried to get a representative on the phone and no luck. They have not sent any updates. So, this month I took off the auto enroll to see if they would reach out regarding a missed payment but I have not got to a person. Its automated and it tells me to call the same number that you cant submit a service ticket too and it has no information or update on what is happening. I dont think its fair that for 6 years I have been a loyal customer and paid on time and now I am expected to pay for a service that doesnt work and I cant get anyone to fix the issue.

      9/28/2024 escrow called Sunpower to transfer services to the new buyer. Sunpower let us know the filed Bankruptcy and it will take anywhere between 30-60 days to get an answer. Sunpower did not advise none of their clients that they were going bankurpt and it would effect any transfer of service or even the clients.

      We have been calling ever since. No matter who answers they tell you there is nothing they can do it will 30-60 days for an answer. Even if you escalate the call same thing or they hang up on you.

      The buyers have already done home inspection and appraisal we just need this to get transferred to them. They are living in a hotel with their kids and my clients the sellers need to submit the final to their divorce case.

      All we need is a transfer to close this. Sunpower has done absolute nothing in this case or anything to help. We are all calling the buyers, sellers, selling agent, buyers agent and escrow. We hope there would be one person to help. Nothing has worked we all get the same thing. It was the responsibility to advise their clients so something like this does not happen.

      Please help us get this resolved.
