The nature of this dispute is costing me money and emotional stress due to sun power not releasing the UCC filing on a home i am trying to close on. I need help i just need them to send this document so i can close on my home i was supposed to close September 23, 2024 and its been extended and i am at risk of losing my escrow money and mortgage rate i have not been able to get any resolution on this matter and unable to get a hold of anyone at sun power.Initial Complaint

I have called so many times. I never have an option for a live person. They keep calling that we are behind 1 payment (August). I have proof that we have tried to pay it via a check made by my bank. I also have proof my bank stopped payment. I have tried to make payment TWO TIMES via a check mailed from my bank to ********. TWO TIMES my bank had to place stop payments. They email me with every return and stop payment.They send text messages that say call *****! But when you call every number associated with Sunpower you get NOWHERE and NO OPTION to hold. They enjoying informing me theyre reporting me to the major credit bureaus, but I have to sit on my hands because they offer no help. I have logged in online. I want contact with a human because I want this credit reporting fixed pronto.I see why theyve filed bankruptcy. Theyre inept. I only wish I knew this before sinking $30,000 in to this business.Initial Complaint

I am in the process of refinancing my home. My new mortgage company cannot get in contact with anyone at SunPower to check the request to have the lien lifted and placed on the new mortgage company so I can refinance my house. All the paperwork and fee SunPower request has been sent. No live person will answer any calls and emails are not being returned. It's been 3 weeks, and I could have closed on my refinance already. Solar lease transfer is taking an extremely long time with little to no response from *********. This is seriously delaying the sale of the home and costing us a lot of money and potentially losing the buyer. We need to expedite the transfer immediately.Initial Complaint

Have owned my house since June 2022, HAD to acquire lease on ********** solar system, that has not worked properly since I moved in. They have been out 3-4 times and said they would order parts and never came to fruition. Now ********* has filed Bankruptcy and is no longer in business and they still want their money for equipment that is faulty and has been since I bought the house. I would like to have it removed and no further charges since they breached the contract. We are selling our home with SunPower solar. Our buyers have agreed to the assumption of the SunPower Power Purchase Agreement and we requested the forms and escrow instructions from SunPower on 9/16/2024. To date, SunPower has not initiated the transfer and we are at risk of losing our buyers. My husband and I sold our home in August 2024, We submitted a transfer request for our solar panels on 08/14/24, sunpower received the request on 08/21/24. Our escrow closing date was on 08/30/24, due to the transfer not happening we were unable to close. We have been contacting them on a weekly basis and emailing them through the online portal and have gotten nowhere. The buyer has still not received a credit background application from them to move forward with the transfer. on 09/20/24, i was informed that a supervisor had sent an email to "escalate" the process but still nothing has happened. On 10/4/24 i requested a buyout quote and have still not received any documents. We are now on the verge of losing the buyer as they no longer want to wait and have submitted a cancelation form.Initial Complaint

My name is ***** ****. I live at **************************************. We entered into contract with SunPower solar company to install the solar panels, system operation after ********* complete application with Nevada energy company and thereafter smooth operation, maintenance and warranty of the solar system . The panels were installed on June 13 and 14. After installing the panels, sun power was supposed to complete our application with ********************* (NVE-149670) for solar system operation but ********* has not completed the application with Nevada energy company and the application is expiring on 10/19/2024. We have called and contacted the sun power many times since installation of solar panels but nothing has progressed after panels installation. We have paid $ ******** on 7/26/2024 as per our contract, copy of the check attached.Our efforts to solve the issue has been unsuccessful. Ive been working with SunPower corporation as well as plan connection to complete my solar and battery insulation. I cannot get responses from either business to finish repairs on my house or and verify that the battery and solar panels work. I sent numerous emails of the course of time which go unanswered or theyll tell me they get back, but no one ever does. All I want for someone to ensure that the battery solar and the data from the grid is correct and to complete the repairs on my home for more things removed and stucco damaged. We have a solar system lease with the SunPower company. We are in escrow now and want to buy out the lease. However, we havent been able to get a contact with the SunPower company. We want to finish the buyout process so that we can close the escrow.
