I purchased a hygiene electric ****** from manspaced Feb 26, 2022. I received the product and seriously cut myself the first time I used it. I reported this to the company and in response I received a package in the mail containing and new ****** head and and another shaving accessory. I understood this to be a mea culpa and thought nothing of it. I have received a handful of these packages since my purchase and original complaint email to the company.This morning I received an email informing me that my "replenishment package" would soon ship. I didn't know what that was so I clicked the email. I learned that Manscaped had been charging me 20 dollars every three months for the past 2 years without my knowledge or permission. I did not even have an account until this morning and needed to create one in order to log into the website to cancel the plan. I am not looking for restitution; I am fortunate enough to be able to afford this unexpected cost. I am reporting this because I believe it is a dishonest and predatory practice bordering on fraud. A new commercial with a professional athlete has been aired with the man saying my ***** was hot.This is offensive in any medium, and would certainly stop many of us from purchasing the product based on that alone.Business Response

I ordered the first time from manscaped last Christmas and since then, Ive been subscribed, without my consent, to a paid service. Its been two times now that I received item I do not want and that were charged on my card. The first one was on may, 17th, 2023. I honestly thought it was just a missing package from the first order. On August, 17th, (3 months later), Ive now received an order confirmation for another item.Ive tried to go on manscaped and get on my account and try to unsubscribe, but I cannot create or sign in to my account. Its been extremely complicated to have information about this subscription that I never would have agreed. Maybe it was hidden, maybe it was agreed without my consent. I ask for a refund for the items I clearly do not want and that you definitely make clear about the subscription when someone is placing an order. I am trying to find out why my order hasnt been delivered yet. I placed an order with this company on July 27, 2023 for $267.75. They claim on their website orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days. Its now been 5 business days and my order has yet to be sent out. I emailed their support department and just got back a generic automated email. I also tried contacting them through Instagram and didnt receive any answer there either. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and I accept their apology and acknowledgment of the issue. Based on the complaints on here this does seem to be an ongoing issue with them, and for them being a billion dollar company they should not be having these order processes issues all the time. So for now I accept their acknowledgment of the issue and as long as they get it resolved and my order sent out to me in a couple days I will be happy.

Both the goods and the website are problematic for me.My login issues on the website prevent me from resetting my password to gain access, and I keep seeing the error message "Failed to send password recovery email." I made the purchase and enrolled using my primary account, thus no additional emails exist.At $119.99, I got The Performance Package 4.0 x 1.The product is useless as a pubic hair trimmer or for any other form of trimming. The advertised anti-chafing is not present since the moving ceramic blades are too close to the trimmer's edge, which leads to bites, chafing, and cuts on the body's curves. Although it is useless, it is claimed to be agile for that purpose. There aren't many shaving heads to pick from. The only other thing that is a plus is that it is waterproof.In a nutshell, the website and product are of poor quality, and the performance claims are currently exaggerated or nonexistent.Business Response

Ive purchase 4 manscapers over the last 2 years. I like the product a lot. Unfortunately, invariably they stop working after 2-3 months. *** looked online and tried to fix them and reset them to no avail. I purchased another one two months ago from Best Buy. I typically store them in my shower and recently read that that might be the problem so I left it outside of the bathroom and only used it outside of the bathroom as to not expose the electronics to any humidity. That one has failed. Ive never purchased something this many times for this price point that was so ephemeral except food. These things cost 90 dollars which is not exactly cheap and I would expect to get at least a year of use from it. Im asking for a refund or replacement. I also would love to send the 3-4 devices Ive purchased back so they can analyze what might be wrong with the product bc perhaps I and other users are making mistakes . Their marketing for the Lawn Mower 3.0 claims it is waterproof, as well as an email with customer service. This device is no where near waterproof and was destroyed after first use in the shower. There are also other customers complaining on message boards of similar/same issue. I have a video with the water sloshing around inside of it and will provide it if asked. In addition, our trimmers meet the IECs IPX4 rating which protects against splashing water from any direction.
While our trimmers have been tested for a variety of conditions, there is a point at which an increased water depth may cause harm to the device.

In October 2022 made one purchase from Manscaped and received the product in October 2022. I had not placed a subscription order. In April 2023 I received a package from them randomly. I asked around and assumed it was either from a family member randomly or a paid promotion to former customers of Manscaped. Today, I discovered I have a pending charge from Manscaped for a little over $20. I signed in to their website and saw that I had been auto-enrolled in a subscription service.
