Lawn Love is trying to charge me an additional $40 for a "long grass fee" which is the maximum they can charge and is reserved for grass that is all over 9 inches. It is the first mow of the season, but my yard is tiny. In the before photo the pro sent, you can literally see bare patches which would contradict their only policy for upcharging.Business Response

On several different occasions this business sent third-party contractors out to my home to mow my grass but on civil occasions the grass was never cut I would be out of town for work and didn't realize it until I was finally at home and they were supposed to come and cut the grass and yet they didn't they had a second ********* come out and he told me that the mom love app was down and that I need to pay him $370 for tree trimming and yard care for him only to rake leaves and leaveBusiness Response

We truly want to help resolve this for you and can process the refund immediatelyif youre able to provide any proof of payment showing that you paid the pro $375.
If youre unable to provide proof, we recommend filing a police report and contacting the pro directly regarding this claim. While we would love to assist further, we currently have no record of the transaction to support the refund.

The The complaint was never solely based on the fact of me handing that man ********************************************************************************** your email your company supposedly sent technicians on four different occasions to my home to cut my grass they never showed up and when I asked for a refund you told me that it was 5 days was the ***** period to make a complaint I reached out and contacted the BBB in regards to your response you agreed to pay me $185 as a payoff but yet you did not consummate that agreement in the prescribed amount of time this is not simply because I gave this man this money and he defrauded me on behalf of your company it's because your company defrauded me itself and never paid me for the money that you took out of my account for services that would never performed due to the fact that you put this on the better Business bureau's website I feel as if this is a fraudulent statement and I will be pursuing legal action against you this is a government watchdog group and you just explicitly lied and tried to base this on one point of my complaint there are multiple points to this complaint that you are just trying to ignoreBusiness Response

I scheduled l lawn care service with Lawn Love. The service was scheduled for 4/4/25. The service was completed on 4/6/25. I tried to cancel the service on 4/11/25 but the site will not let me. I was directed to download their app to cancel the service but when I did that it would not let me. I am chatting with the *** and they will not cancel the service. They keep trying to pause the service instead of canceling. This feels like fraud.Business Response

Our agency's service agreement with Lawn Love concluded in April 2024. Despite this, we have recently been billed five times by your company. My service was canceled in February 2024. I was charged $50.99 on March 25, 2025 for a service that I did not schedule. When I noticed the charge on my credit card on March 31, 2025, I logged into my lawn love account and saw a recurring biweekly service had been scheduled for a house I did not live in for over a year. I tried to cancel the service online but "the feature was unavailable" so I contacted customer service on their chat since there was no number to call. **************** agreed to cancel my service but refused to dispute or refund the charge since it had been over 5 days. They claimed that I had "paused" the service and they automatically restarted it. I did not pause the service, I cancelled the service since I moved out. I asked to escalate this matter before disputing the charge directly with my credit card or filing with the BBB. The person "Tye" mentioned they were contacting a supervisor and after about 10 minutes, the chat option disappeared and I was unable to talk to anyone. I searched on my account for a place to delete my credit card information and could not find it anywhere. I did notice that my profile had checked that I be contacted via text for service reminders but I had not received any text messages. When I had the service in 2024, I had received text messages prior to the service and at completion but this time I did not. Another person lives at this address now and cares for the yard so I believe this situation is a scam and, if they are completing service at this address, they are trespassing and charging my card without authorization. I contacted Lawn Love in early November of 2025 for leaf removal/lawn cleanup. There was a cleanup scheduled, no one showed up and they tried to charge me. I disputed the charge and they said they will reschedule. I then received another attempt to charge me after they marked the job complete. No one came out and the leaves are still on my lawn. I made several phone calls and they told me there was nothing they can do, it was too late and I have to pay. No work was ever done. I found out that someone I hired through Taskrabbit in July of 2024 at my home in ********, ** named ***** Pipette who I only now know is connected to a company called Lawn Love based in ***** was hired to trim my tree and vines. He was super strange and very slow - in a way that made and me friend uncomfortable- he asked to use my ladder - had only and old ***** handsaw - no tools almost - Wanted to get him off my property to the point where I helped him finish to get him out..Turns out:"Lawn Love" has since charged my bank $62+ dollars a month since July ***************************************** ******** - the concrete jungle. I am on a major avenue with a year with a big tree and ivy climbing the wall - some. I had never heard of the company, tracked them down - and they said the provider provided evidence of service. I have never seen or heard of this person or company since the one incident but he seems to have taken advantage on having my bank details - and I bet he's doing it to not just **** called Lawn Love explaining these facts they said the window of complaint had passed. I asked how long that was and they said: 5 days. I didnt even know this company existed. This person was hired through Task Rabbit - as an individual.Somehow he signed me. up for monthly something through that Lawn Love company but I did my best to literally get him off my property as no continuous "service" was ever contracted. Of course in the Northeast in winter the idea of "mowing a lawn" anywhere is a *******'s a scam - he is doing the scamming. ***** wrote that according to their records I signed up with their service in July. I looked more deeply into it and found that a sub contractor came out to cut a tree I have in ************ - there is no lawn - in July - who has a questionable website with no reviews no reference and on it he is actually not named although the phone number was a match. Lawn Love is contracted with that subcontractor and he has been charging me for mowing my lawn (I really do not have a lawn in Inter city ********) all through the WINTER months as well to add insult to illogical (and criminal) injury. ***** just didnt understand how impossible a Northeast monthly lawn mowing service was and on further research Lawn Love has been reported in multiple states for fraud / lack of service. I looked into my emails and found 2: one from October and one from February - when I actually was hiking the Slovakian mountains with my daughter on her 16 birthday - someone please please stop this man from clicking that he provided service since ***** explained that their employees do not require they provide any proof in the form of pictures. I demanded pictures. This person is sitting somewhere in the US in his house telling Lawn Love he provided service and I never ever signed up for anything with them - rather with him for one tree trim - thats all I have - its all concrete - its ************. ***** is on the phone located somewhere in ***** not even able to understand that the Northeast of the US does not have lawns in ******** and that nothing grows in the winter months. The company does not vet its subcontractors, their actual work, their honesty, and customer service doesnt understand that anyways the ground freezes in other parts of the country in winter. I paused my service due the season and that I've been out of work for 6 months due to breast cancer. I never reinstated my service and they had changed my provider and didn't update them on my services being paused. They came out of March 7, without my authorization, and only edged 2 small areas of my yard. They didn't cut the grass nor did they leaf blow. When I filed the complaint on line I was only given two options, have them come back or a $15 credit.
