I tried to place an order on their mobile app and the order didnt go through yet I was charged twice for the order I never received or got an order number for! Their customer service is non-existent! Im so angry Im contacting corporate!! This is insane!Business Response

There is not enough information for us to look into this issue, and we will email this guest to obtain more information, but it seems like there was an error and the transaction did not go through. If there is no order # or confirmation of the order, then the transaction did not go through and your bank that put the hold on the funds will release the hold and funds will go back to the account.

On 5/13/25 I placed an order through the Jack in the box app (total $39.18) and the store immediately cancelled my order but I was still charged. I then attempted to place the order again and the same thing happened. Jack in the Box charged my card $37.36 but they cancelled the order. On 5/13/25 I reached out to customer support and they told me I would receive a refund in 3-5 business days. It has now been over 3 weeks and I still have not received a refund to my Venmo card ending in 0610. Please refund my card $75.15 immediately. Thank you.Business Response

Thank you for contacting us. We were unable to find a mobile order or mobile account for this guest with their name and phone number. If these were just pre-authorized charges and did not go through, their bank will release the funds back to their account. If the orders did go through, there will be order #s and would show the order was cancelled and we would be able to look into this.

I ordered on the app and when I showed up they told me they could not fulfill my order and to submit a refund request through their app. I followed instructions and have not received a response other then an NPS survey and after multiple attempts to contact the company I cannot reach anyone. The local branchs voicemail is full and the corporate IVR disconnects the call.Business Response

Im filing a complaint against Jack in the Box at ********************************************** due to an extremely frustrating experience.On June 4th, I visited this location with three others. We were told at the speaker that they were only accepting online orders. However, once we pulled up, the employee took an order from the car behind us that clearly hadnt ordered online, which was inconsistent and unfair.We tried to comply by downloading the Jack in the Box app, but it gave errors saying our cards wouldnt go throughyet two of my cards were charged multiple times (I have screenshots and pending transactions as proof).Eventually, we placed our order online, but still waited a long time. We thought the worker might be alone, but a woman later came out and stood outside smoking a ************ for over 20 minutesvery unprofessional.When we got our food, only one of four orders was correct, and I was charged $10.83 for food I never received. I have proof of the online order, app issues, and incorrect ********** make matters worse, the Contact Us page on their site doesnt work, and Ive received no response after emailing an alternative contact.This situation has caused a lot of stress and wasted time. Deceptive bank practices and app canceling!Tried to place an order on the app and after going through process and get to checkout it spins repeatedly and then says declined. Card has funds so not the problem.Try again.Ok cool try another card that has money.Spin spin spin.Order rejected.Go check bank accounts and both have charges for the ******** email confirmation of ******** app confirmation of *********** has no knowledge of ******** now I'm out 46 dollars until this gets resolved with the bank via disputes. If the guest does not have an order and a confirmation email of the order, then there was an error, and the charge did not go through and what you see a pre-authorization and pending status that was put there by your bank. They should release the funds back to your account since ********************** did not place the order or collect the funds. Please reach out to your bank and ask when they would release the funds back to your account since they put the hold on the funds and that is the pre-authorization. First off would like to say tha*ks for taki*g the time to liste* to my complai*t. Worst customer service ever. Ordered through the mobile app a*d we*t there arou*d 3:48am to pick up my order. The drive through a*d the i*side were closed. O*li*e a*d o* the app shows this particular store bei*g ope*ed 24hrs. Decided to drive back home a*d wait about 1 hour. We*t back arou*d 4:50am a*d they were still closed. Eve*tually after several failed attempts of them *ot bei*g ope*ed decided to wait u*til 6am. Fi*ally at 6am the drive through was ope*ed. Employee was very rude she spe*t about 15 argui*g with me. She told me several times to call my ba*k to do a dispute. she there was *othi*g she could do to help me a*d do*t bother complai*i*g because she has do*e a lot worst a*d still has*t bee* fired. All wa*t is a full refu*d for the order I *ever received a*d the cameras for this restaura*t reviewed for customer service trai*i*g. I ordered a Munchie meal from your fast food restaurant youeterday, 05/23/2025 at 05:51 pm, but unfortunately, it didnt come with enough sauce. This is the only Jack in the box place (************************************) that only give 1 packet of taco sauce per 1 taco, and if a customer requested more taco sauce, the employees only give no more than 2 taco sauce per taco, and it is extra charge for requesting more than 2 taco sauce per taco. This really affected my meal experience I ended up not being able to enjoy the food and lost my appetite. I am a loyal Jack in the Box customer which other places always provide me enough or more taco sauce when requested and it is unfortunate that this fast food restaurant, Jack in the Box, provides limited sauce and this place charge for sauces. Jack in the box provides incomplete information to the customer, especially through advertisement. Why do customers have to pay extras for sauce? I have called the Jack in the Box in ************************************, three times today (05/24/2025) but no answer. It v is extremely difficult to address concerns when it comes to Jack in the Box Complains. Theres no further instructions of where exactly is the Jack in the Box Corporate locations and contact information. The location has the ability to charge for extra sauces if guests need more than what is allotted for the order.
