I ordered food through the app and when I showed up they said they were doing a shift change. I told them I ordered online asking how to get a refund. They said theyd make the order but then told me they were out of every single item on the order. I reach out to jack in the box for a refund, its been a week and its crickets.Business Response

I submitted the form online. You have had all information needed to refund me prior to me launching my complaint but never refunded me or reached out before. Refund my money. Do your job, its not my job to give you the information multiple times because your company is lazy from top to bottom.Business Response

Mr. ***** did not cooperate or return our phone calls or emails, requesting information for his refund. He kept sending emails saying we are lazy and to find the information and refund him.
We were able to find an order for $18.85 on Aug 7th and made a full refund to his card and emailed him a confirmation of the email as well.
Jack in the Box considers this matter closed.

I submitted the information through the online portal on august 7th. Your company did not respond until I submitted a complaint to BBB. You had all of the information available to you already but when you contacted me asked for all the information I had previously provided. You are lazy and provide terrible service from corporates down to the store level. And your company called using a caller ID block resulting in an unknown caller ID. I dont know why youd view that as professional or think I would answer someone blocking the caller ID. I responded to your email. I have cooperated you are just lazy.Initial Complaint

**** is only a block from my job, I frequented that restaurant for ***************** on the regular.. Around the beginning of the pandemic, my debit card became compromised, I block the card & requested a new one be sent out, after recieving a new card, it happened again, I suspected it was at the **** location but had no proof, I received a **** gift card from my dentist & used it at ONLY McDs ,nothing happened, then at ****.. the cashier kept looking at me & doing someone just out of sight, I felt odd about the situation & told my coworker once I got back to work... within an hour or so of my visit to ****, all the monies on the **** gift card were gone. I call the location, I put comments online on *********** called to complain.. I contact the police, apparently the "person" had used paypal & the transaction was listed as a contribution of some sorts. Eeventually I was contacted, the regional mgr ?? said he watch the *************** see anything that concerned him, my issue with his statement was he didnt have my card number, or what type of car i drove (came through the drive through) or any information.. I did tell him the time so perhaps he watch just that hour ?? but at any rate, I stopped going to ****. all nefarious activities stopped. COMPLETELY. Fast forward to present day. I realized I could download the **** app & pay for my order with the app so I did twice.. with 2 weeks i received a notificaion that my card had been compromised... I didnt know if their employees have access to card info on the app but there is a problem with card theft. No one wants to address ********* pretend it doesnt happen, but its to much of a coincidence. I work just a block away but the restaurant is off an interstate, ********* just right there, very convenient... so if it can happen to me, then I cant imagine all the travelers who has this happen to them... it would almost be impossible to figure it who has their information.. but this needs to stop.Business Response

On Monday, August 8th, 7:48, my wife and I placed a mobile order for the Jack In the Box on *******************************************************************. Before ordering, we checked two sources for store hours, ****** and Jack in the Box app. Around 7:59, I was approaching the Jack In the Box, and hit prepare now in anticipation there would be a long line... As I pulled up to the drive through, I was greeted by several orange cones blocking the entrance. The lights in the restaurant were on, so I figured the front was open. I pulled into a spot, and tried to open the door, but locked. I went back to the car, called the store twice, and waited to see if any customers came in or out for a moment.. As Im pulling away, I see an employee turn off lights and lock the door, leaving the building.At this point, its only 8:10, and the restaurant is supposed to close at 10 pm.. I am extremely disappointed, and inconvenienced that I am out $17.27. I would appreciate nothing less than a refund for the full amount.Business Response

On July 31, 2022, I placed my order through the Jack in the Box official mobile app. Even though I also ordered two Large Oreo Cookie Ultimate Chocolate Shakes ($12.58) and extra sauces, I only received the Mega Munchie Box ($20.00). Furthermore, the order took more than an hour to arrive (I believe around 90 minutes), and the food arrived cold... On the same day (July 31, 2022), I filed my first complaint through ****** website, followed by another complaint because there was no response from them on August 3, 2022... I just want some clarity and to get this resolved as soon as possible...Business Response

I had order ****** that I placed but when I showed up at the restaurant after using mobile app to order I had to wait 30 minutes after waiting in the drive thru and then having to go inside. I still had to wait longer in store as they kept taking a while with getting my order out. When I got home the food was cold and some of the bread was hard. There were also items that were missing . Had multiple problems with a restraint on ******** Ave ***** Called and asked for help, filed a online jack in the box submission and no response, was over charged and was given less than what I was supposed to get. I just mobile ordered from Jack in the Box in the ********* Plaza.The address for the business is **************************************************************************** ordered 3 sets of two tacos, because I was offered free two tacos. I specifically put in the mobile order to make sure the cheese is removed. I am lactose intolerant, so any bit of cheese can cause me major health issues. Every single one of my tacos has cheese. This is unacceptable, considering my health is in question. The store is a bit far, so I have no desire to drive back nor should I have to waste the gas money to do so. If I am able to get a full refund for my order, that would be perfect.Business Response
