      They pass on shipping charges for addresses that do not get properly updated in their website. The "*************** isn't really a good discount. The quick shipping used to be a perk, but they can't even deliver on that anymore. Don't recommend anymore considering all of the other competition today.

      Do not do business with Road Runner Sports. I shopped in their store with my mom in May 2022. My mother had a VIP membership and I did not. We paid for our purchases separately and I did not have any affiliation with her transaction or VIP discount. I was offered membership at that time but declined. In July 2023, I had a random charge of $49.99 from Road Runner Sports. I called customer service and was told my credit card was charged to pay my mom's VIP membership renewal because her card was declined (she had her card replaced at some point over the last year in an unrelated incident). After reading similar complaints here, I am prepared to watch my credit card charges every July in the event they try to renew the membership annually. I have reported this incident to the *** and encourage others to do the same.

      This company has the slimy business practice of putting the ***** membership with automatic renewal for a fee on your purchase receipt. They know nobody sees this fine print on the receipt and the salespeople never said anything about it to me. I'll never buy from them again and will tell everyone I know. I feel this is a scam. They did, however, say they removed me from the automatic renewal when I called them. I'll be checking my credit card closely.

      Terrible business practices and I will never purchase a product from RRS again. I realized earlier this year that I'd been paying the annual VIP membership fee for a few years despite rarely purchasing items. RRS never sends a receipt for the subscription, and your VIP subscription information is buried on the website. After spending a frustrating hour on the website trying to remove my billing information and find my renewal date, I gave them a call. The ** rep assured me she had cancelled my membership and I would not be billed. A month later, a charge appears on my credit card, which I never ********* to subscriptions. I call my credit card and am told that I need to call RRS to "unlink" my card info. I'm not entirely sure how the heck they got it in the first place for the subscription? I call RRS and am told that I'd actually had TWO active VIP memberships! I'd been shopping with them since 2009 and NEVER KNEW THIS, never received receipts or confirmations of my subscription, etc. I ask the ** rep to cancel everything, so she does. Then, when I ask to please have all billing information removed, I am put on hold for 20+ minutes and am finally told that my billing info. was erased. She even seemed annoyed that I'd asked that. I wouldn't be surprised if they attempted to charge my card again, ugh.

      Something is seriously wrong with this organization:Definitely run but run away from these people. Long time customer who can not get a straight answer from representatives about my membership renewal date over the last few months. To date, I have three different answers. If you are concerned that something might be off about what they are telling you, you can not escalate to a supervisor. Your only option is to leave a message and hope for the best. Unfortunately, the "supervisor" never calls back. The sad reality is that employees know that to be the case.My last conversation was with **** who confidently assured me that she knew what she was talking about and gave me a new date in late 2023. Today, I was told that was wrong! Beyond ridiculous.On the bright side, I was told I could sign up again!!Placing my order today with Fleet Feet. You should do the same.

      I would give zero stars if possible. The company is unethical. A Road Runners Sports employee signed me up for a VIP membership using a fake email address for me when I made a purchase there in 2021. Because he created a fake email address, I never received notice of renewal. We discovered this when our credit card was charged, and we called about the unexpected charge. The credit card company told us it was a subscription automatically charged to my card. I never authorized such a charge. I called Road Runners and had the subscription stopped and was refunded the charge for this year. They would not refund me what they charged last year. When we went to the store, the cashier at Road Runners said that the person who did that to me was shady and no longer worked at the store. She said a lot of customers are upset when they learn that they have been signed up without their knowledge. Reading through the complaints here, I can see that the unethical practice is a business strategy and not just one shady individual.

      I have been a VIP member for a very long time and things are certainly not what they use to be with RRS. They have horrible /non existent customer service and are not there to help you when THEY s**** your order up. I returned a pair of running shoes that I took literally ******************* and they refused to give me a refund claiming that they shoes had signs of wear and would only give me a store credit. No such thing as their 90 day return policy! There clearly was no wear on the shoes and this is just one of their deceitful practices. Countless times, I ordered from them and would get an email confirmation; waited and waited and waited for the item to be sent but never shows up. For example a simple pair of running socks that never arrived and a month later I reached out only to find the order was canceled due to socks being out of stock. Of course they do not tell you when an item is out of stock; you will only find out when you never receive the item. You can find the same things on Amazon at pretty much the same price and get it the next day! It's really disappointing as this company use to be A+. Stay away!!!

      I would rate then 0 stars if I could! They shipped me a used pair of shoes! They arrived with no tags in a generic brown box with a mailing label slapped on it. I sent them back for a refund and they said that the shoes were worn (no shit!) and that they could only offer me an E-Card. They are selling used shoes and trying to pass them off as new. I will never, ever by another thing from this place! Easy to see why the have such a s***** rating.

      I made 1 online purchases 2 years ago for a pair of shoes. I recently was looking at my PayPal transactions and saw a charge for ***** from them. Then the next year another charge of ***** ! Then this Feb a charge of *****! So I quickly called them and was told that the charge was for the premium membership I signed up for!! I do not think I did that! I bought one pair of shoes! I told them that they needed to refund me! How dare they do that! ******* said they could refund the last 2 charges but not the first one!! So they took ***** from me! Stole it from me! I did get the other two bogus charges refunded.What if I didnt see that? Would they have continued to charge me every year? Probably!! I dont know if I should have tried to get ?? of the charges back . But I want to WARN other people of what this company is doing! Ripping people off. Terrible,awful, any one else have this problem?

      Don't sign up for their VIP program- I got caught with over $150 of recurring annual "reward" charges on my account with no warning of the recurring charges, no chance to cancel. I found it by checking a Paypal account transaction that looked suspect. When I called, they confirmed for me that I purchased a pair of shoes in 2020 and was receiving automatic charges for 3 years....they were kind enough to cancel the most recent one, but prorated "because I was a VIP for that prorated period." WHAT A SCAM. BUYER BEWARE.
