Someone needs to call me from the corporate offices of Wells Fargo about the staff in your applications department. I have attempted repeatedly to get ahold of them and they have not let me speak to them and I keep getting agents off shore.Business Response

I inherited an *** account in the event of my fathers passing, it is a traditional inherited ***. I have been told on several occasions by Wells Fargo that I am not allowed to take money out of the account and now I am trying to get my money moved over to another financial institution and I am being made aware that I was supposed to be taking distributions every year to deplete the account but every time I call to withdraw money they tell me Im not allowed to withdraw any money until Im 59 1/2 unless I wanna pay a penalty and taxes on the money. The money is supposed to be for my retirement and I do not want to take it out but I need it to be growing faster which is the reason Ive decided to change financial institutes. Wells Fargo is being completely unhelpful in the situation and continues to give me false and conflicting information. I am now going to be forced to withdraw money where I will be forced to pay taxes on it or pay a tax penalty for not withdrawing the funds in the appropriate amount of time. I find this to be unfair and misleading considering every time Ive called bank to withdraw funds to help me with my hardship, they have told me that is not an option for this account and that I have to wait until Im 59 1/2. I would like to take full action in a complaint and I am willing to proceed with all legal remedies to resolve this issue. They have lied to me multiple times which is now causing me to have tax penalties or lose some of my moneyBusiness Response

Deposited a check in the Wells Fargo Bank branch # ******* on 07/16/22 in person and inside the bank. The check was a Carmax check from the sale of my car for the amount of $9459,46.Of the aforementioned amount $5525 were available on 07/16/22 and the bank placed an hold on the $*******. Those $ ******* were supposed to be available today. Once I noticed to deposit was done today for the amount on hold I called the bank. Spent 20 minutes giving same information over and over. The my issues an investigation because the money disappeared in thin air and it can take up to 10 business day to fix the problem. If a customer is late --we get sent to collection, but for a business it is ok to take their sweet time for a mistake made by their part. This is unacceptable. Thank youBusiness Response

My 2016 ****** Altima was totaled June 2022. All my documentation was update with Wells Fargo they received the payment from my bank USAA on the 28 June 2022 for $18,047.41.My bank verified the payment was received with Wells Fargo **************** My payment was never posted to the account which made me due for another payment $385.99 to prevent me from being past due. I call to ask about my payment in the Wells Fargo **************** where I was transferred to the payoff department for Auto. After speaking to another representative I was advised the payment would post in 3-5 days which would have been 6 July 2022, This is the 19 July 2022 and the payment still have not been posted for the payoff. I also have Gap Insurance Carco and they are also waiting on Wells Fargo to post the payment so the full payment can be cleared. I have paid $771.98 total of 2 payments so I am upset and very upset that Wells Fargo is hanging on to funds to make interest on both ends my remaining balance and USAA funds that was sent to them on the 23 June 2023. I believe this is a violation of the **** Deposits which is only 14 days. If I am force to make another payment of $385.99 it will be a total of $1,157.97. I have visited 2 local branches in Decatur with no resolution to this issue, No one can seem to explain to me nor my USAA Adjuster ************************************* why the payment have not posted. I made several calls to the bank last year in regards to the over draft protection fees. I was concerned because of changing employers and pay dates. I made a call 9/12/21 about the fees and the female rep I spoke to confirmed I had not been charged fees (which I could've negotiated). I called today again but the gentleman said he had no way to check the call log. Normally they can, and they can even get a recording if they needed to confirm something. I was given wrong information. Perhaps the rep in Sept wanted to make the call quick. I would like a refund for these fees. They total $87.50Business Response

I had a credit card with a 21k limit. I saw fraudulent charges and reported them and lowered my limit to ***** so it wouldn't get run up. One of the charges for 5k, Wellsfargo allowed after the limit was lowered and then they would not raise the limit and showed my account as 150% of the allowed amount. This severely affected my credit score. Then as I tried to work out the issue with them, explaining several times I'm getting out a violent marriage and trying to get divorced and to please work with me, they reported me late on payments 3 times of which the latest 60 day late payment for May 2022, was inaccurate as I paid TWO TIMES in May.I would like Wellsfargo to correct the credit report, removing the 60 day late claim for May ********************************************************************** steady repayment on the remaining balance.Business Response
