1 starYesterday, I deposited into my checking a large Wells Fargo check endorsed to me from my son, in the *********'s Wells Fargo branch, bank lobby ...with my son present. The check that was deposited was manager approved on yesterday. The transaction went well. Check was verified authentic by Wells Fargo and endorsed to me by my son. The teller who helped me yesterday, followed all guidelines. My son and I had 4 federal Identifications between us..which we both produced...Driver license and Veteran ID's because we are both Army Veterans. Everyone who helped me and my son originally yesterday, the teller, and the manager who approved the deposited check was soooo professional and nice. Well, I came in this morning when the check cleared, to get a certified cashiers check to deposit into my out of ******************* account...and the bank, and ******* the branch manager on duty.....would not approve my request to get my money, from my account and get a cashiers check. ******* said.. there was a problem with my name...however, there was no problem the day before with my name when I showed 2 ID's with my names...there also was not a problem with my Wells Fargo account. My son had endorsed the check to me in the WellsFargo branch. The teller had us both sign the check. Then the manager on duty approved the transaction. I had proper ID. My son had proper ID. The transaction was approved the day before. But denied today. The teller who helped my son and I heard what was going on..and verified that the check was legitimate, approved the Then the manager on duty approved the transaction. I had proper ID. My son had proper ID. The transaction was approved the day before. But denied today. The teller who helped my son and I heard what was going on..and verified that the check was legitimate, approved the day before, and that my SON endorsed it to me.. and that the transaction was good...and the bank and ******* the branch manager still would not give me my available funds.Review fromLaurie M

1 starI have been a personal customer of ********************** since 1998 and business customer since 2014. As a self-employed architect, due to the economy, I've experienced financial hardship for over two years now. I've had many overdraft charges which are valid but end of 2024 I contested (9) overdraft charges on my statements that occurred in 2024 even though I had a positive balance showing. I've just called in again about this issue for the third time because there has been no real response. I was told that the statements don't reflect pending transactions, and I am wrong in my assumptions of depending on my statements as an accurate reflection of my posted balance. (9) different overdraft charges of $35 occurred even though my statements showed I had a positive balance. It has been a very frustrating experience. Overdraft fees are for posted transactions and these posted transactions show a positive ending balance. Wells Fargo cannot even show me backup to their claim or even explain it so it makes sense. I was talked to condescendingly and repeatedly told I was wrong, I need a new bank that cares.Review fromLonnie M

1 starIve had my Wells Fargo credit card for over a year and always paid it off on time. In March 2025, two rent payments ended up on the same statement because of how the dates fell. This made my balance look double what it usually is.Even though I paid my normal amount on time, Wells Fargo charged me interest and said I had to pay the full doubled amount to avoid more charges. Ive called several times, and they admitted it was a billing cycle issuebut still havent fixed it.Ive always been a responsible customer. Its frustrating to be charged because of a problem with their system.Review fromKevin W

1 starHave had an account for over 40 years and use left-stub checks. Ordered new checks ($60) and they sent standard checks. I returned them to my local branch and requested a refund. So far after 3 appeals they are denying me based on some corporate nonsense. Simple - WF provided a product I did not order and returned and they refuse to reimburse me. Very frustrating.Review fromWillliam Eric B

1 starI am beyond frustrated and deeply disappointed with Wells Fargo. This bank has proven itself to be shockingly negligent and utterly incompetent. They approved and deposited a fraudulent check into my accountwithout proper verificationand then turned around and charged me when it turned out to be a scam.Let me be clear: I was a victim of fraud. But instead of protecting me, Wells Fargo enabled the scammer and then left me to deal with the damage alone. I filed a formal complaint, and the bank took no responsibility whatsoever.Yes, I admit I was **** in this situation. But like any reasonable person, I trusted that if my bank cleared the check and made the funds available, it meant the check was legitimate. Thats what banks are supposed to doverify funds and protect their customers.Even more infuriating, Ive deposited legitimate checks from my own 401(k) before, and the bank held them for days. But somehow, a check from a complete scammer was approved overnight? That makes absolutely no sense and speaks volumes about the banks ************* angry, and I have every right to be. This experience has shown me just how untrustworthy and careless Wells Fargo really is. And now that *** looked further into their track record, I see they have an F rating with the Better Business Bureauwhich honestly doesnt surprise me at all.Ill call back again and see if theres someone with a little compassion that will share this loss with meReview fromEric H

1 starWELLS FARGO PROTECTS CRIMINALS! DO NOT BANK WITH WELLS FARGO! Wells Fargo does not cooperate with police in investigations! There is a person located near the Wells FArgo bank located at ***************************** INCLINE VILLAGE NEVADA that had created a falsified bank account for a Automotive Dealership in *************. The criminal had performed wire fraud by interacting with my company and stealing almost $3000 from us by pretending to be the dealership looking to collect on our account. Upon learning that the bank account that had received the money did not belong to the dealership, we filed charges with our local ***************** in *************. The detective then applied for and was granted a warrant for the information of the person who opened the bank account. Upon forwarding the warrant to Wells Fargo in INCLINE VILLAGE NEVADA told the detective that he had not given enough information to them for the warrant. The detective had to use other resources to find the criminals information.Review fromJessyka S

1 starUnfortunately, I am legally blind and called wells fargo today, to get help designing a new card that I won't be able to see and find when I need to. Because I again am legally blind. I need something to stand out something bold.. Hate to inform everyone with disabilities that wells fargo does not accommodate nor help, let alone care about people with disabilities. They were extremely rude. They did nothing to help me design a new card that I could see instead. They told me that I needed to get on a computer or tablet which was very ignorant on their part, because again I cannot see, therefore, I cannot use a tablet or a computer to be able to order a new card wells fargo by far has disappointed me and I am disgusted with them.I wouldn't recommend anybody with a vision impairment or disability to open an account with this bank because they do not care about people with disabilities. I will be looking for a different bank. That accommodates people with disabilities and closing my accounts. Altogether, **********************, you have failed me. Completely, and I have nothing positive to say. I will be going to the higher power to make sure that this problem is addressed.Because now, I feel like wells fargo discriminates against people with disabilities, I have been with them for many, many years, and the fact that i'm just finding out about this really is alarming and concerning it just goes to show that because they are not someone with a disability. They don't care to try to accommodate people with disabilities.. if I was able to give them less than a star, I would because that's how disappointed and disgusted, I am with this bank.Review fromZay A

1 starI opened an online account where it was written that if you opened an online account you would earn R$300. I still haven't received it and I contacted them after following the information as it should be. The answer was that I didn't follow the requirements that I should have followed. In which I did what had to be done. Do not open an account at this bank. Unprepared employees. Each one gives you different information about what you need. You can't trust them.Review fromDonna R

1 starWells Fargo has sued and falsely accused me of a 9,000$ credit card debt. I asked for details of transactions and date the card was opened and never received any information. This is not my debt. I am 72 years old with no substantial income. Be very wary of doing business with this company.
