YOUR MONEY IS NOT SAFE HERE! I recently was informed of "unusual activity on my account" and so I had my debit and electronic card frozen. The VERY NEXT DAY, my newly issued digital wallet card was used again for unauthorized transactions equaling over $3000! There are ZERO security measures at this bank. Move your money before it gets stolen.

We recently moved to ** in Aug 2024 after being with the same bank for 8-yrs for what we thought would be better services. We are a small biz just under $2m in revenue and needed a small 50k line of credit to help balance out the *** and flows of cash-flow. We were denied without any questions or other and that decision took 9-calendar days. When speaking to "customer ********************" she was nice and said sorry and they do not have a policy of reconsidering and said they don't care about any reasoning, etc. So we will be looking for a new bank again.

I deposited a large amount of cash at a Wellsfargo *** machine on March 25, 2025. The machine just took my money. It didn't ask for a confirmation or anything. I called immediately, I let them know where I was located, I waited there the entire time, I even have the *** machine number memorized. I told them exactly how many bills I deposited. There were cars behind me who kept moving to the second *** machine because I was sitting there for so long. I asked them to shut down the machine so no one else could experience that... and they said they couldn't do it. TWO MONTHS LATER I get a letter in the mail stating that the claim was denied and they weren't able to determine the amount I deposited. It wasn't just $50 or some small amount that I could have shrugged my shoulders... it was enough money where I am NOT OKAY WITH THEM STEALING FROM ME. I have been with them since I was in high school. I have talked to many people and there was no resolution for them to offer me. They don't care. They won't check the cameras. They claim their *** machines are accurate and provides accurate reports. I will be shutting my account with them immediately. ZERO STARS.

I filed a claims report concerning Vivid Tickets (who is also getting a 1 star review) due to a draft on my account which I did authorize, but never received any goods for, physical or electronic. ** initially refunded the amount in full, but could withdraw pending an investigation. Approximately, 2 months go by and Im advised their investigation warrants a redraft. Still, I havent gotten any tickets. I request the documentation that justifies the redraft. Im told it can take up to 30 calendar days, but tends to take far less. A whole 30 days later I get a 12 page packet of their investigation. Its 8 pages of my transactions from the month of said purchase. The purchase is there (as I already know), but not acknowledged. The remainder of this document shows who ever the investigator is, purchasing the tickets through the bogus vendor, but not even for close to the same price. This is absolute clown shoes. Thats how they justify their investigation? Completely lazy, and incompetent. Still out my money and concert tickets.

I was a customer for 36 years straight. Paid off a mortgage to them. My final visit to the Wells Fargo in ********, ** was to ask for my $96 back that they took from me via a $12/month charge on a savings acount I had with them that I was unaware of.They refused to refund the full amount. While I was there, another customer said and this is how Im treated after 30 years with you? so this is certainly not an isolated incident. They have been fined (not nearly enough) for being deceptive and they are. Dont bank with them as it will get worse now that the guardrails are gone. Credit unions people!

They put a hold on a CASHIER'S CHECK from a bank AFTER they called the bank to verify the funds and I was told the money would be in my account the next morning, They even printed it on a receipt saying so. Now they say that their people can't get in touch with the issuing bank (***********) so there is an extended hold on the check. When I got the check from Valley they were going to give me cash and I said a cashier's check was fine because I didnt't want to carry around that much cash. Is this even legal??? As soon as the check clears I am closing my account and getting my family and friends to close theirs as well. My brother has been with Wells Fargo over 20 years.

I have been trying to speak to an executive from Wells Fargo for months now as they made a mistake on their end and will not reverse the charge for me. Ive spoken to over 10 individuals at this point and the level of competency never seems to go over the education level of an 8th grader. I asked who I could speak with that could actually explain to me why Wells Fargo is unwilling to make this right and after a long time on hold the Wells Fargo Assistant to the Executives (as Im not allowed to speak to an actual executive their words not mine) gave me the name of the whole CEO/President of Wells Fargo as the next level. Which is 100% false obviously but I have lost so much time trying to get justice for this something has to be done.

Absolutely the worst bank. I deposited a treasury check in my account and was told it would be available the next day. It even stated so on my receipt. So I proceeded to make payments to my bills and purchases and then all of a sudden they took the money out of my account and put a hold on it for a week. Now all of my bills are messed up. Its costing me fees. They dont want to hear about it. They claim they have the right to do so at their discretion. So I will be finding another bank. They are absolutely horrible. Their customer service people are absolutely horrible. It is easily one of the worst banks I ever dealt with. And a top all that you cannot deposit cash or send somebody else to the bank to put money in your account, which created many problems for me ,as I was away on business. And the worst part is they dont want to rectify any of this. They just brush you off and You are left to deal with the mess that they created.

Actual overall experience, 0 out of 5 stars.Demeaning, condescending although ignorant, and just plain useless-- not only is customer service obviously trained to do everything but help you, they try to make you feel like they're doing you a courtesy when you call and expect them to follow their own policies, like extra day ***** for overdrafts. Oh, let me see if you're eligible! Well, I'm your customer, so....yes, I'm eligible. Or are you lying about the services you offer? As if the constant overdrafts (unnecessary, because you can clearly see most of the time how they manipulate the order of deposits to benefit themselves by collecting fees) weren't annoying enough, I really appreciate being told to transfer money to my account because it's empty, all while they're holding my paycheck hostage until whenever they feel like posting it to my account.Everyone sees through you-- y'all CROOKS AND CRIMINALS.
