My husband usually cashes his checks with them but today they completely refused to cash his check. They had no valid reason after my husband asked numerous times. Eventually the manager ****** came out and lied to my husband saying there were insufficient funds! Luckily my husband is friends with the guy who wrote the check and ended up calling him. My husbands friend confirmed the funds were present in the account. They still refused to cash the check. Im not sure if it was because of my husbands appearance but it was really distasteful the way they treated him and gave him a hard time! This is money he works hard for! He just finished a full week over the road driving trucks. We are highly dissatisfied and pray that no one else has to encounter these problems with them again!

I had to dispute claims on my card I never made and now they are taking money out of my card because they couldnt find any fraud when I have never stepped foot in any of these places. Now they are stealing almost $100 out of my account and will not do anything to help me. My hard earned money stolen.

I am writing on behalf of my girlfriend, who was defrauded out of $9800 by a person on the telephone purporting to be from Wells Fargo Bank. He told her someone was trying to steal her money from her account, but that he would make sure they didn't. Unfortunately, they managed to gain enough information from my girlfriend, to access her accounts and transfer $9800 via Apple Pay. While she was still on the phone with this person, she used a 2nd phone to call Wells Fargo and ask if this was legitimate. She was instructed to hang up the phone on them, which she did.She was also told to go to schedule an appointment at a local branch asap. The soonest day they had available was 2 days later. When she arrived, she was told "not to worry, that the transaction was still pending". The day after that, the transaction went through, EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE TOLD 3 DAYS BEFORE, THAT A CRIME HAD BEEN COMMITTED. THEY DID NOTHING TO STOP IT!A police report was filed with the local ****************. The **** has a report. The local TV station has a report. She has been trying to deal with Wells Fargo to get her money back. She has been stonewalled and basically ignored. They did a quick investigation - twice - and closed both of them with no restitution. I filed a complaint on her behalf with the Consumer Financial ****************** which caused another investigation to be opened - which they promptly closed again. She called Wells Fargo to inquire and they said they were still investigating. To add insult to injury, she is being charged a finance charge from $2000 that the criminal took out as a cash advance from her credit card. Wells Fargo was alerted by her as the crime was happening, that an unauthorized transaction had taken place and for 3 days, they did nothing to stop it, which has caused major financial harm to my girlfriend. Pending means nothing for the customer/consumer. Nothing.

Simplehuman withdrew money from my account for a recurring payment I wasnt aware of, as it only happens every six months. Wells Fargo paid the amount without notifying me and immediately charged me a $38 fee. On that same day, I watched my grandmother take her last breath. I was unable to make it to the bank to deposit money because I was dealing with her passing. I called Wells Fargo, explained the situation, and asked them to reverse the fee. They were completely heartless and refused. Ill be closing my account today. ********************** has no compassion and does not deserve my business.

If I could leave a zero I would. Took my 4k payment then put my cc on hold for 15 days while I was on vacation. Called multiple times and was told something different each time. Worst business practices I've ever seen.

I would give zero stars if I could. They have basically stole 2 of my rewards checks. They say they were mailed and cashed but I never got them. Over 2 hours on the phone so far trying to settle this. I hate this bank with a passion

As the executor of my father's estate, I have been attempting for months to persuade Wells Fargo to close my father's account following his passing, and it even had the beneficiaries listed. Every time I call, I receive a recording stating they are away for an undisclosed amount of time and to contact the assistant, who has yet to actually reach out to me. When I try calling at other times and someone else answers, I am told the same thing: The assistant will call you backbut it never happens.Twice now, I've been told that documents would be sent out the same day, shipped next day air, yet a week goes by and still no package. I finally received the paperwork to sign. Once again, I was assured the check would be sent out that day, but here I am a week later and still nothing has arrived. Now we are informed we must wait a couple more weeks but have been given no explanation for the delay. We have submitted everything they have requested but continue to receive the ************ it stands, I have a mortgage with them and am now exploring other options to secure a new loan, just so my children will never have to deal with this financial institution.

      # Wells Fargo: A Bank That Prioritizes Profits Over People's Safety After being victimized in a "soft mugging" for $1000 at an isolated Wells Fargo ATM, hidden around the back of their building in a very unsafe neighborhood (***********) I discovered how this bank treats customers in crisis: with indifference, obstruction, and zero accountability.## My Experience When intimidated into a fraudulent transaction at their poorly secured ATM hidden in an unsafe location, Wells Fargo:- Denied my claim despite clear evidence of fraud - Blamed me for a transaction conducted under duress - Ignored security footage that would prove my case - Mishandled my claim with incorrect case numbers - Refused to acknowledge their dangerous ATM placement ## Wells Fargo's Pattern Not an isolated incident. Their documented history:- **2016**: $185 million fine for creating millions of fraudulent accounts - **2018**: $575 million settlement for improper mortgage modifications - **2020**: $203 million penalty for deceptive overdraft practices - **2023**: $3.7 billion CFPB penalty for mismanaging accounts, harming thousands ## The Numbers - "F" rating from BBB with *****+ complaints in three years - *****+ CFPB complaints in 2023 for account ******************** and fraud - 1.4/5 stars on Trustpilot from *****+ reviews ## Reality of Wells Fargo They consistently:- Place ATMs in dangerous locations - Blame customers for fraud - Pay billions in settlements yet continue predatory practices - Value profit over safety I urge potential customers to choose banks that don't demonstrate such callous disregard for consumer protection.????????????????

YOU NEED TO RUN FROM THIS BANK! IF YOU KNEW THE CORRUPT, ILLEGAL STUFF THEY WERE DOING TO AN INNOCENT FAMILY IT WOULD MAKE YOU SICK! THEY ALREADY ADMITTED IT TO A LAWYER AND WANT TO DO A SETTLEMENT BUT ONLY WHEN THE GOVERNMENT TELLS THEM THEY CAN! THE CRIMES THIS BANK HAS COMMITTED IS DISGUSTING!
