Extremely Disappointed After 10+ Years with Wells Fargo Ive been a loyal Wells Fargo customer for over 10 years. Right before leaving the **** for a couple of months, my account was blocked after transferring $3,500 to my son, a person Ive sent money to monthly (usually $1,000+). I had also changed my password that day.I explained the situation and was told to give my son a power of attorney so he could access the funds. He went to a branch twice, once without and once with the notarized document. Still, after waiting for hours, they told him I had to be there in person.I was willing to provide any and all information, and so was my son. I even went as far as notarizing the document, and yet Wells Fargo completely ignored our efforts. Despite many calls explaining I was stranded abroad without access to my funds or a way to return, they kept repeating I needed to go in person. One representative even ended the call mid-conversation after saying, Youve been told multiple times to visit a branch.I feel completely abandoned by a bank I once trusted. This situation has hurt both my personal life and business, and I sincerely hope Wells Fargo rethinks how they treat honest, long-term customers in difficult situations.

I've been with Wells Fargo for years and have never had any problems with them. I've gotten great service and they have always taken care of any issues that I have. I gave them 3 stars because I have a big issue with them when it comes to providing service to existing customer while they try to attract new customers. Every time I try to get a higher interest rate on my savings account, they require "new money" to be deposited. I have quite a bit in my savings account but it seems they want me to play the gave of withdrawing money and then redepositing it to qualify for the new money higher interest rate. That is crazy to me. Wells Fargo - take care of your existing customers especially after reading all of these negative renews.

They are full of false advertisement! I was overdraft yesterday and today I got a fee for the funds that went overdraft yesterday. I added funds right away so that I didn't get a fee and I still did! They said it was over $0.75. I got a $35 fee over $0.75. I did add funds where it made me not overdraft. Last night some charges went through (I seriously saw it this morning) and I still got a fee. They didn't even give me a chance to add funds so that I didn't get a fee.

I had an account years ago, and when I tried to close it due to fees and no benefits, they fought me every step of the way. Recently, they opened a new account without my permission and won't tell me who opened it or when it was opened. They said that they couldn't share this information. I'm waiting for the fraud department to get back to me but haven't heard anything in two months. When I try to contact them, there are long wait times. I don't think they learned from the fraud cases they were involved in a few years back.

I've had this checking account for over 40 years. I've often moved funds from another bank to Wells Fargo, but now that I want to transfer funds in reverse, Wells Fargo electronically cannot do this because their ONLY means of secondary authentication is via texting a number. I do not have a cell phone, oly a land line. I went to the local branch to do the transfer, and they STILL claim they cannot do this without proper identification. Apparently, they do not have the technology to authenticate via a phone call or an email with the access number (both of which can be automated), which is what I do with about a dozen other financial institutions.

Grandparents had a mortgage loan from wells Fargo, they passed away. We have been trying to work with them for over a year to get loan out of foreclosure. We finally decided to just go elsewhere for the mortgage after getting everything finalized we needed a payoff letter. We had to be transferred multiple times to different depts and each one said something different. Because it took so long it delayed our closing and pushed it out another 2 weeks to which we needed another payoff letter after going through the same thing we are 2 days from closing with no letter. We have been on the phone for over 2 hours and will likely again have to delay our closing. I think wells Fargo is purposely withholding the payoff so it will go to auction and they will receive more money. There is no reason a payoff letter take 5 to 7 business days to receive.

Their alleged customer service team doesn't do a **** thing except continue to transfer you to someone else. I have been passed around until the automation system just hangs up on me 3 times now. F*** wellsfargo! I will be closing my account soon and going elsewhere

They will never receive business from me again. In which case Wells Fargo is too big of a company to recognize the small people. Ive been banking with this agency since I moved down here. I recently received an email that I am no longer eligible for overdraft protection. I really dont understand this since my check is directly deposited into my bank account. And this is how I usually pay my bills to cover my expenses. Ill be sure to get this out every possible chance I can. I would like to thank the representatives for not helping resolve this issue.
