An ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE BANK!Dont trust this bank to manage your money! They constantly let unauthorized charges go through, for example I had 3 fraudulent charges across three different states that cost me 300 dollars. Called Wells Fargo within an hour of the charges taking place and they said they cant do anything until they post. Flash forward a WEEK later and they finally credit my account. Then three days later decided to close my savings account for inactivity even tho I had just put money in it. They said they would send a cashiers check in 15 BUSINESS DAYS so now almost a month later I still havent received my money. The customer service is a joke, the fraud prevention is a joke, the fast and easy banking they claim to have is a joke. This bank is absolutely trash and should be held accountable for its lack of accountability. If you need a bank go with USAA they know all about the shady and questionable activities that Wells Fargo does on a DAILY basis. STAY AWAY FROM WELLS FARGO!!!!!

After being told my direct deposit will be in two days early starting the 14th of November they still don't come in early however I have 4 coworkers who all bank with Wells Fargo who all get there's two days early. When asking Wells Fargo why I don't when we all work at the same place I was told it hasn't started in ********** even though my coworkers all got their deposit early in **********. So what's the excuse Wells Fargo when you clearly picked favorites to have get their money early. If I did then they would be out of getting overdraft fees.

I just received notice that my home insurance through Wells Fargo will double from $1725 to $3452. The house is valued at $75,000. This is effective immediately. I'm a 72 year old retiree and am a victim of their past criminal activity. They do not care about their reputation, it's just about grabbing all the money that they can.

Worse than a one star! I have an aging step-parent who wanted us to make payments on his mortgage and handle his loan. I had an attorney help me set up ***** of ********* signed by the parent and notarized. I have spent over 5 months calling only to find an excuse of this or that.. I have sent the paperwork they requested and more. I think this is the worst experience I have ever had with any company and I think it is infuriating how ridiculous this company is! I would never choose to work with them. I can not image how hard it will be for my children when they help me when I am older to work with a company that if we aren't allowed to make payments could repossess the property ..... they are dishonest and terrible to work with and do not respect the wishes of the account owners signed power of attorney!

I wish I could give negative stars but that's impossible so I will begrudgingly give it one star. This bank is actively ignoring a certified copy of a judge's order as well as a request from the state attorney's office in *******. It's appalling. Not only are they ignoring the order, they've also lied TO the state and our family/family attorney regarding their knowledge of the whereabouts of four trust accounts in our family's name. They initially told us the state attorney had the accounts; after contacting the state attorney, they promptly responded and stated the accounts had been turned back over to Wells Fargo. At this point, Wells Fargo told us the accounts were closed and deposited into an internal account (completely false as well). Around the time we were told they were closed, WELLS FARGO THEMSELVES reached out to the state attorney to ask the "status of the sum of $20,392" in the trusts. The state attorney once again reiterated that the money was free to be released to rightful owners and the initial case the accounts were involved in had been long closed. So while Wells Fargo was telling us, "uhhhh they have it," and then, "uhhhhhhh they were closed," they already knew at that time the accounts were gone and the money was missing. How can you request the status of the EXACT SUM of the accounts while simultaneously telling the account owners they didn't have them/they were closed? The best part is that the account numbers don't exist anymore. They don't bring up anything when searched in the Wells Fargo database. Bank officials told me that even if an account was closed due to inactivity or had been frozen/confiscated/etc., the account numbers would still pull up that information.Wells Fargo stole $20,000 from my children and are refusing a judge's order. Funny, my husband went to PRISON for similarly executed fraud. Well, News Channel 8 and ********************* from On Your Side have the story now.....

This is pretty much the worse banking decision you can make for yourself, having anything to do with Wells Fargo. Applied for a ************ and got accepted and initiated the 'balance transfer' offer. A month later and my all balance transfer offers get declined by Wells Fargo and no one is able to give me an answer. I was just on the phone with 2 supervisors, 3 customer care specialists and these people do not have the slightest clue what's going on. Credit card is open, limit is there but they cancelled the transfers and they do not know why. The incompetency is unreal, they cannot give you answers. Do yourself a favor an run, fast. Literally any bank is better.

If you want a company that will protect you against fraud, seek elsewhere! Im a customer that has had hundreds of thousands with this bank in the last couple of years. Recently, some scammers got ahold of my phone and sent themselves over $1,000 via my account. My wife immediately allied well Fargo to cancel the transactions but they couldnt because fraud department is closed, call back tomorrow. Long story short, Wells Fargo closed our claim and decided it was legitimate after having us speak to at least 14 representatives. I will be leaving to somewhere that better protects its customers.
