Wells Fargo Bank supports and encourages CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES with people accounts. I had my account compromised for over $1,100 in Cash. A skimmer was used at an ARCO GAS STATION and everything was duplicated. After over 50 emails, letters, faxes and over 100 phone calls to Wells Fargo Corporate, they did absolutely nothing. The Branch MGR at a local Branch confirmed to me they found out how the card was compromised. When I stopped back in to see her, she told me Wells Fargo Corporate to her not to talk to me about it any further. Wells Fargo Corporation supports and encourages Criminal Activity because the Criminals know Wells Fargo Corporation will do nothing about it.

I banked with Wells Fargo for over 32 years and for the last 10 of those 32 years, I kept a balance ranging from 15K to 25K. Never, ever, did a Wells Fargo person reach out to me to ask if I wanted to move that money to an account that would pay some sort of interest, hence, I never received a single ***** in interest, but my disappointment with this bank is not related to this, but more with their lack of interest in investigating and protecting my accounts after they were compromised multiple times. One of those times involved a brand new account and a brand new ATM card that I (myself) did not get to use for the first time before the intruders( unknown entities ) helped themselves to my money yet again. I spoke with several folks from this bank and asked them to explain to me how it was possible that a new account number and new ATM card were compromised before I even knew what the new account number was and before I received the new card in the mail. They said they would investigate but the only results they shared with me were the ones telling that "I was not responsible for that particular transaction". My account were compromised back-to-back a total of six times in a period of three months. after the 6th incident I tried closing my account via phone, but was told I needed to make an appointment in person, so I did and closed my account. To my surprise, a month later I get emails from Wells Fargo regarding my current balance ( $0.0 ). My first thought was - WOW!! who is overseeing the I.T. department - why aren't the branches reporting that I already closed my account, then the bigger question came to mind. What else is happening under the covers that they (WF) are not aware of? -- My advice is: Stay away from this bank - go somewhere else like ****** or a credit union.

Has no problem charging multiple overdraft fees of $35 for items of $9.99-10.99 but will decline to pay your rent/mortgage payment at the same time. When you ask for an explanation of how they decide which to pay and which not to pay they tell you it's within their judgement if and when to pay anything. Constantly declining charges because they are suspicious but then approved a charge from ********* for 5 that's right 5 75" hdtvs. This company is a joke and just siphoning as much as possible while showing complete disregard for customers even if they are 10 yr plus members.

Absolutely the worst bank Ive ever worked with. After closing my account and opening a new one due to my old account being compromised, I deposited my payroll check into the new account only to be told by Wells Fargo customer service multiple times that they could not verify the signature on the front of the check. I also escalated my concerns and was told that the escalation department would contact me with 48 business hours but no one ever reached out to me however, I received a do not reply email that stated they were looking into it and it would be at least 10 days before they figured out how to help me. Within one business day of me reaching out to the issuer, ADP, and a visit to the branch, I found that there had been a change in the treasurer for ADP but the bank manager was able to verify the signature with ADP and released the check. No other checks were held from my organization for the reasons stated by Wells Fargo so this was definitely a targeted hold on a new account held by a long time client. Fast forward 4 days, Wells Fargo customer service is still working on a solution and investigating. So disappointed in this bank and their treatment of a client of 10 plus years. Its absolutely unacceptable to hold someones payroll check that they live on because you cant find people to work or wont pay a fair wage to people so your customers are taken care of.

I would rate zero stars, but thats not an option. After banking with Wells Fargo personally for almost 30 years, encouraging my husband and kids to bank with Wells Fargo, and having our small business checking, savings, and merchant services accounts with Wells Fargo for almost 20 years Wells Fargo decided a client check that was deposited in our business account was fraudulent and rejected it after the money posted in the account with no explanation to us. We immediately contacted the client who issued us another check which was deposited right away. Wells Fargo then decided to close all of our accounts, kids included, saying we were trying to commit fraud, which we definitely werent. Any reasonable person would look at the long history we have with the bank and realize we are honest customers. But they dont care so we will never do business in any capacity with Wells Fargo again and I encourage others to do their banking elsewhere before they too get screwed by Wells Fargo.

Called Wells Fargo for a stop payment on an automatic transaction that I didn't realize was still in effect and I didn't realize they were going to cancel my card and issue me a new one. He was extremely hard to understand and started talking about your new card will be to you in 7 to 10 business days and you can't use your old one. I said can we just cancel this? The amount wasn't that much and he said sorry its already been filed and current card canceled. They need to let people know what they're doing before they do it so they can make a decision. Luckily I have other cards, but if I didn't I would be in a bad situation. Plus now every account I have linked to that card I have to setup with a new card. All because I couldn't understand him and he didn't explain what he was doing befor he did it.

Wells Fargo has by far the worst customer service representatives as I believe that they only hire people that are lazy dont listen and love to agrue with the customers Always seems like when you call to resolve an issue or have questions the person on the other end are totally useless and incompetent Because of issues that should have been resolved quickly turn too claiming Mt Everest and your running out of oxygen Not worth the troubles any longer so Im closing my accounts
