I opened a credit card secure account to build my black owned business credit where I invested $700. My card was stolen, and I informed Wells Fargo of this, the business lending fraud team promised me they gonna closed this account , send me a new card and open a new account and they did nothing to solve the problem and they didnt send any letter that says they will review the unauthorized transaction, instead they closed the account and want me pay for the whole balance with a lot interest.Unfairly they closed my account and put that I owe $533.63 on July 8, 2022, and in August they put that I owe ****** and now in September they have $621.85.According to Wells Fargo website , their credit card come with a zero liability protection as long as they're reported promptly which i did I have reported the card was stolen. They sent to me a new card where I cant activate it and they closed the account and leave it with the unauthorized balance .I am making this complaint for Wells Fargo to give to me an explanation about that and get this fixed real quick.Anytime I am trying to call them they transfert my call and after they say the business lending team is closed , I have sent a letter they said I have to call , I keep calling and they keep transferring my calls with no answers.I feel so devastated about this Wells Fargo behavior and I want them explanation.

Back during the Covid crisis I took advantage of a deferment for close to six months because I had lost so much work I was on unemployment and Wells Fargo at the time granted based on the information I gave them that deferment fast forward to this year particularly late June when I began pursuing getting an equity loan and I contacted Wells Fargo and was told they no longer do equity loans and then they try to get me to refinance which I did not want to do given the choices of 30 years or 15 years and my payments would have been through the roof so I contacted the bank Who I bank through North Carolina State employees credit union. after going through everything and finally getting approved the final step revealed the deferment created a lien on my property and state employees credit union informed me of that which caught me by total surprise because when I signed up for this deferment none of this was really explain to me therefore it really put me in a very horrible position because the money from this equity loan was to get me a decent used car because the current car I was driving had no air-conditioning and ******* miles on it plus I wanted to pay off freedom debt relief which was the biggest mistake I ever made in my life and my home heating cooling system has gone out which needs to be replaced. because of this huge huge surprise yes I was able to get a decent used car but the whole thing with freedom debt relief and getting my home heating and cooling system replaced has put me in a very very tough situation where I dont know what Im going to do because I had to pay back six months mortgage out of my equity loan which really screwed things up for me. Wells Fargo did not fully explain or make me aware of this downside. I got in touch with Wells Fargo and they continue to give me the runaround and it is so disappointing how these big banks can continue to get away with these Half truths diversion shenanigans.

I had a transplant and I also signed a forbearance agreement with Wells Fargo. Even though it was signed a day late, they told me it would go through and that I could change my due date to October 6th, as they were processing the forbearance agreement anyways. I then get served with a right to cure. They told me it would take up to 7 business days for it to go through. I call tonight and they told me the forbearance agreement was rejected. I have been in contact with them since July. There calls are recorded; please help me.

Been a customer for over 25 years. My wife died a few months ago and the bill pay was tied to her user name on our joint accounts. When they figured out she had passed, they locked me out of her account which maybe you could understand but it was a joint account. The impossible to overlook issue is they deleted the online bill pay account which we had used to pay our bills forever. They said because it was under her user name - too bad. I asked how could that be, did we both need to have the exact same bill pay under both user names? How many couples do that? Then I was told it was deleted and couldn't get it back. That is ****, I was upset but no foul language and asked to speak to supervisor which never called me back. I am setting up bill pay and transferring all assets to another bank. FUWF

Wells Fargo consistently oversteps their legal and financial bounds. I have owned multiple accounts and loans with Wells Fargo and they have always had poor practices. My current situation involves my mother and her legally bound wishes. My mother has severe Parkinsons and Alzheimers. She only leaves *********** for Healthcare and cannot manage anything for herself. She did the right thing and acquired a lawyer to develop a Trust for this situation. Wells Fargo doesn't care and is ignoring her wishes. Every step I have taken for them is never good enough. Every letter from the doctor is never good enough. They also made mistakes with documents we prepared with them 4 years ago, before my Mom was incapable of doing anything. They refuse to take accountability, and now it is our problem. Their actions are simply disgusting. I don't know how else to describe a company that ignores its member's legal wishes when they need it the most. In trying to help my Mom I have dealt with hospitals, accountants, long term care facilities, and multiple government agencies without issue. Wells Fargo has treated us poorly and to this day they refuse to respect my Mom's wishes.

Such a shameful bank. I knew there were some pretty crappy people in this world but to think Wells Fargo would stoop as low as to go into my bank account from another bank and take out more than ****** dollars leaving me in a financial rut is just ridicules. That is twice, first time is when the Wells Fargo in my hometown of ********, ** took it upon themselves to authorize **** to take a good chunk of money out of my account. Even when we call them to dispute this whole debacle, the employees give the run around and tell us there is nothing that can be done to reverse the money being taken out. So this is how Wells Fargo treats their military service customers?? Well this is one customer NEVER going back to ********************** again.

Funded my Wells Fargo checking from my **************** account, to avoid paying interest on my Wells Fargo **** credit card. The deposit was on 8/31 and the interest is 09/09. Wells Fargo held the checks until the 9/11. They claimed that they suspected of fraud on the account. When I called them, I asked them How would I commit fraud to myself? Why *********** that is transferring the money to you do not call fraud? Why are you holding the fund after receiving it from ***********? Where is the suspected fraud because the accounts are under my name and the checks have my name on them? No one answered my questions. They charged me 150 dollars in interest. Tried to give them another chance to correct the problem, but they refused. Closed all my accounts with them except my credit card so my credit is not affected... BAD BANK

Very questionable business practices...possibly immoral and fraudulent. I recently opened a Wells Fargo credit card. Being that it wasn't the most intuitive website to make payments/etc, I decided to prepay funds in advance so that I'd have a balance and not have to worry about making monthly payments. Well, despite having a balance in the account and continuing to use it for purchases, Wells Fargo sent me a "credit refund balance". This is problematic since I thought there were still funds available in the account. If this is an intentional business practice it is corrupt. If it is inadvertent, then the BBB should look into my case since this practice can have negative implications for one's credit score. **A bank should not be able to send you a "credit balance refund" while you are still using the account. I can see why this might make since if the account has not been used for a year or two, but to do it after 3 months is very deceptive.
