On Friday, 08/26/2022, I received a phone call stating that Advance America had approved the loan I had applied for online. ******************* went through the general questions and verification. She then asked to verify the Wells Fargo Bank account to verify that I received a direct deposit on the 15th from my employer. I opened up my computer to look into my account. The balance was ******. ******************* said that a representative from Wells Fargo would be calling me to verify that I was getting a ******* dollar loan from Advance America. I waited for the call. While looking at my account online with Wells Fargo Online banking, there were three deposits made to my account: the first in the amount of $179.00, the second in the amount of $229.00, and the third in the amount of $179.00. One of the $179.00 was in a ******* as if it was withdrawn. At that time, they did not have reference numbers on them.I asked ********************* why were the three deposits made into my account that I did not authorize. **** stated that the Underwriter would provide the information for me.Also, ************** stated that Wells Fargo said they tried calling me four times and did not get an answer. I replied that that was not so. ***** then said she would get Wells Fargo on the call. Mr. ********************* of Wells Fargo came on the line and stated that Wells Fargo conducts business with this company often. He said that they would be placing the loan into the account. I asked ************** for a # so I could reach him directly at Well Fargo. I called the number, and the # was not in service. The Underwriter took over the call and said she would need $400.00 from me to pay the processing fee for the $******* loan. I reported the scam immediately to Wells Fargo. I am a senior, and Wells Fargo treated me as if I were the scammer. They placed a hold on my new account and would not give me my personal funds from the account. I was unable to purchase the medication that is needed daily. This is cruel.

30 years with this bank...and if you get scammed by another business.... Wells Fargo will NOT be there to help you. I lost over $5000. $2000 via wire transfer and they did nothing. This business has an online website and everything.... Wells Fargo did nothing to help me recover my money.

I have received my ebills electronically for almost a decade without interruption. I did not receive my ebill from *********** on the Wells Fargo website in July, I contacted Wells Fargo. They told me to call ***********. *********** stated that the ebill was already set up but they would reset it.In August (2022), I did not receive my ebill again. Wells Fargo told me that it says the ****** (**** Energy) canceled the ebill. I called Duke. They told me that I am set up for ebills and it has to be on Wells Fargo's end. I called Wells Fargo back. After looking at my account, the representative escalated me to the second tier of help. I tried to explain what had happened. The lady kept saying Wells Fargo doesn't receive bills from any venders including ***********. She explained that I needed to get the bill amount from the vender. I told her that I have been paying bills through Wells Fargo all the way back to Wachovia. I offered to do a screen share to show her that I currently receive bills from ***************** (Water) and ********************* I explained that not only is the amount given to me electronically, but I can also download the bill in pdf through Wells Fargo. I offered to screen share again. She said she cannot screen share with me. She further informed me that she has worked there for 4 years and has never heard of bills coming into Wells Fargo.I repeated I can screen share. She kept saying Wells Fargo is a portal and she works for Wells Fargo. I told her I understand that she works for Wells Fargo, but I get my bills through Wells Fargo via ebills. It felt like she continually insinuated that I was not being truthful or making it up. She frequently insinuated that I didn't know who I was calling. I informed her that her comments felt insulting. She finally instructed me to delete the payee and reinstall it. I did it, but now I have lost my bill history with ***********. She was very rude and condescending.

Ive been a loyal customer since 2008. Checking savings even a credit card. Every since inflation has hit so has Wells Fargo. All of a sudden my free checking is no longer free. They say if your balance is below 500 then they charge 12 bucks. Two months in a row Ive been charged and my account is well above their little funky mandatory 500. I called customer service who says oh I see you shouldnt have been charged but was only willing to refund me $3. Nope not today sir, I hope that $24 you guys stole from me was worth it. What a crock and they really need to be evaluated. People watch your accounts if you are with them. If you are thinking of joining Im warning you now you will be taken advantage of just like they did my 82 yr old grandmother. Ive held on way too long. There are truly banks that are there for you. Wells Fargo is not one. Closing all accounts by the end of this week.

I've filed paperwork with Wells Fargo requesting any and all information that the police may need in order to prosecute whoever opened an online account with their bank in my name fraudulenly. This is the second packet of information I have been asked to complete, get notarized, and submit requesting that they provide information to the police.Wells Fargo says they won't provide anything to me unless I ask for specific information. They also said they won't provide anything directly to the police.Now... anyone know what I should be requesting? Because I don't have the first clue. This process is fraudulent! They obviously could not care less about apprehending this criminal.

I deposited a check into my commercial account at the branch in the cheltenham plaza. I gave it to the teller but didnt sign it. I made a mistake and she didnt catch it. My bank, that check was written on, called me to confirm I wrote the check. I verified it. The check cleared on 8/19 (funds withdrawn from my account). Wells Fargo had the audacity to send me a letter stating that a hold is placed on my account because they dont think the money will be paid. What!!!! I called the call center and they said go in the bank and ask them to lift the hold as a courtesy. I go in and the bank rep calls the back office and she said she cant do it because she was told she can lift it But she is personally responsible. I said the money cleared on 8/19. My bank verbally cleared it and now the money is literally in wellls Fargo. I dont understand. The bank manager comes over and says in the rudest tone, we are not lifting the hold. Its our discretion and we are not removing the hold, wow!! Worst bank ever!!!

I was getting Zelles to transfer to my sister's cash app. I checked before I did it to make sure it was legal and it was. After about 10 transfers they sent an email to call the fraud department because my online access had been blocked. After I told them that the transactions were not fraud and had been made by me. The first person said ok and access was unblocked. The next one did not go through so I had to call again. I ended up doing this for the next 3 transactions. I called again and the gentleman I spoke with verified all my information and said that I would have to go to a branch and show a picture ID. Well I went to the bank. No banker was there because she had had an accident on the way to work. There was a lady in an office and asked if she could help me. I told her why I was there. She verified my ID and called the number I had been given and had to answer a bunch of questions. Then the person on the phone wanted to speak to me and asked me the very same questions I had answered 10 times before and told me that I would be able to use the online service. Mind you this was on a Monday and I hadn't had access for 5 days. The first time I tried to sign on I couldn't so here I go calling again. After several transactions I was told to call fraud again and verified the charges but it would be 10 days before I could get back online. Now I am one of those people that checks their account every day but no more. Before the 10 days was over I got 2 emails saying my checking and savings accounts had been closed for an unauthorized transaction The lady I talked to was very rude and said "NOTHING IN AND NOTHING OUT". I asked what was I supposed to do about my automatic payments which was all my bills. She said that the account would technically be closed on the 30th and I said and anything left would be sent within 7 to 10 days after that. I have been a customer since 2008 and ********************** before that. I think it was really ??y of them to do that.

Horrible customer service and rude, unknowledgeable representatives. The customer service they do have is handled by third party personnel not even in the country, so you can imagine how much the reps actually care about the individuals they are speaking to. One of several reps I spoke with, argued with me and accused me of not paying my credit card **** on time, even though I had paid my credit card off entirely 2 days prior to my due date. You cant speak to anyone who can actually help resolve your concerns. They nickel and dime the customers for everything and refuse to help work with their customers. The interest rates are criminal. I will be changing banks entirely as to avoid this disaster of a company in the future. Terrible business!

What a c*** hole. Anyone considering joining this bank please say yourself the hassle and read the reviews dont waste your time. Save yourself the headache. Management is terrible and the people that answer at first from a third world country with roosters in the background will not understand anything to help you when you call.

I have been with Wells Fargo since **** and have never filed a fraudulent complaint. That stated, I filed a complaint with the fraud department against Quick MD due to deceptive business practices or offering a refund and offering customer service, when in fact, they do not. Upon filing my complaint, I offered to provide my documentation but was told I would be contacted if they needed it. Though I was not contacted, I received a provisional credit. In the meantime, I provided reviews with proof of my experience with Quick MD. Long after this incident, Quick MD contacted me and I was offered a courtesy credit due to my negative experience. I informed them that Id already filed the complaint with my bank and got my money back. They still offered the courtesy visit. Months later, I used the credit. They then went to Wells Fargo and claimed I never had an issue and that they should not have credited me my money back. With zero refute or notice to me, Wells Fargo immediately took the money out my account, leaving me with a negative balance. This just happened today, August 16, 2022, despite the incident happening in May, serving further proof Quick MD was being deceptive. I kept documentation of everything including them offering the courtesy visit. However when I contacted Wells Fargo, they refused my proof from the beginning, as well as current, telling me the case was closed. To add insult to injury, they told me that there is a way to get a courtesy credit but I didnt fit the criteria, although Ive NEVER filed a bad claim. I explained to them that they reversed a fair credit and sided with the fraudulent merchant, even though they never looked at my proof via documentation even when I offered it before as well as after. I asked for my complaint to be escalated and was told it would go to an Executive and they may call within 10 days. Im being treated as a dishonest person when my proof was not even examined.
