  I applied to Uber. Uber uses Checr for their background checks. My background check was completed. It had a old minor charge from ****, that was almost w0 years ago, and been resolved. That should not been on there. Than a small misdemeanor from more than 7 years ago, with the wrong date. That charge should not been on the background check, it was also resolved. Checkr was only supposed to go back 7 years.they messed up my life, because I was denied employment with Uber. Then Checkr tells me that it could take at least 30 days to fix their errors. When call their customer service they keep you on hold so you hang up... This is the worst background check company I have ever seen. They should be shut down in my opinion..help me someone..this company ruined my life

  I didn't have a bad bad ground until door **** hired these idiots to run my background check this lady has my same name in birthday but I don't have a middle name she's in prison you would think they would take it off I have a CDL AND A PERK card unfortunately I'm African American so good luck with them trying to ************ and they lady is white you would think that should be on the court record

  My criminal background check was supposed to be completed 10 days ago. My motor vehicle report was completed over a month ago now. Because of this hiccup, I am not able to work. I would give 1 star but its usually never been this bad so I'm trying not to come down on them too hard.

  I wish I could leave negative stars they are the worst I applied at Uber and Lyft to make extra cash I dont have alot of money but I bought 4 brand new tires and replaced my windshield and paid for two online tests and two vehicle inspections thinking no problem Ill be driving in couple weeks tops its been over two **************** every state is complete Im waiting on ************** I dont care what they are dealing with I want it done already wtf worthless customer service totally ***** D!CK

  This place is a SCAM. I never signed up for reoccurring charges and I can't turn it off online or call. This is a SCAM. Do NOT use their service and if you are having trouble, then place a complaint with the attorney general's office of **********. They will investigate them.   was fired from Doordash my only income at the moment because checkr reported that I don't have a driver's license in ****** and claim this means I don't have a license to drive. Not only do I have a State driver's license but just not in. That state any more. I also have a vehicle registered in my name which u have to have a driver's licence to do that. I WILL NO SIGN AND AGREE TO THE ***** AND CONDITIONS required to use their website portal which I see now is required to file a dispute, because the number to call instead is just a black hole that puts people on hold for hours on end which will eventually stop playing music for you and just hang up every time. If you press 9 and leave your number for them to call u back...well u get an automated call back informing you "due to the high volume of calls,we are unable to call you back"!! WHAT?! BEEN ON HD FOR THREE HOURS SO FAR TODAY. *** TRIED EMAILING TOO and no reply or acknowledgement. I can't even get doordash to respond. They of course require I contact checkr to begin my dispute. So I'm out of a job, mouths to feed and no way of getting help.

  Complete trash company.. They REFUSE to do their job. They will let people sit at home for weeks without work and money while they take their sweet time.. 5 and a half weeks for a background check? My wife's company ran a background check on me, and whoever they used had mine back in 48 hours!!! These people need to be shut down, and they need compensate all of the people they've left stranded. And don't bother trying to get ahold of someone.. I've created 15 "tickets" over a week span. Not one phone call.. And of course their "live chat" is unavailable. That's because they don't do their job.

  My background check is running for about three month because they are waiting for Michigan I never lived in ********. This company is nearly impossible to contact them over the phone They keep saying ******** changed the law a copy and paste response. People have to pay bills.

  This company is a complete JOKE. In was hired by a company but they have to complete a background investigation before I can start. Checkr started the investigation on May 11, 2023 and was to be completed in approximately 7 days. Mind you I served 23 years in the Marine Cirps with a Secret clearance and recently left a job with the police department and a teaching position. It is now July 26, 2023 with no results. They sent me an email saying the courts had an internal issue on July 5, 2023 that caused a "backup". What was the problem the other 7 weeks (May 11 - July 4)? Why could you not do your job and complete the task you were paid to complete in the 7 days as stated? Avoid any company that uses Checkr or you will be unemployed for months while waiting for these clowns to complete a basic background check.
