      Horrible. Shouldn't have all of these gig apps using this ******** company doing their extensive background checks. Someone's past mistakes shouldn't make them incapable of not getting a simple gig job. No customer service at all. **** this garbage company!!!

      I waited for a **** backround check for three months almost never got one. Today ******** filed one and checkr won't get back to me at all. I'm out alot of money and I doubt I'll have my rental and job much longer.I've called I've emailed and months never returned my call. Iay have to seek legal assistance and go after them for this. It's clear checkr does not uphold to state or federal law. My background check for Uber has taken more time then to purchase a firearm and still after moneys for Uber still waiting and same with **** and now doordash. If they won't call me and or get my backround I'll be seeking legal assistance. There needs to be a class action lawsuit against them. Under laws I thought they had souch time to complete and backround check for any employee

      Buyer Beware! Checkr doesn't make it clear that the prices listed on its pricing guide are just starting price (its in a ***************** at the bottom of the page). Nor does it tell you this when you order a background check or even after while they are processing it. You are just slapped with additional fees weeks later when they issue your monthly statement. By then, you've already requested additional background checks and the whole thing is an expensive fiasco. In my case, I ordered a background check for $54, only to be charged an additional $95 for that check because of additional court fees! To add insult to injury, they have NO PHONE number to address customer questions. Their sales team sure calls you about a million times, but when you want to call them with a question, you are out of luck. You can email customer service, but they don't respond. They only responded after I emailed twice and looped the sales team. And then their response was canned and they didn't resolve my concern (that their pricing is deceptive). They just sent me a pricing pdf (which is different from what you see in your account when you are ordering your checks) that has small print saying that that there may be "additional fees." I own a small business and we need dozens of background checks per year, so we can't work with an unethical, unreachable business. They have lost my business and you should save yourself the headache by avoiding them altogether!

      Been a month since they started a new check for **** even though the ******** check was completed in two days and all was fine the **** check started the same day has been pending for a month! You can't get anyone on the phone and call back system hangs up on you. Worst company ever.

      I dont understand how they have an A+ due to their lack of customer service and length of time it takes to complete a simple background check. Ive completed two other background checks with 2 other companies and this one is trash.

      Check r reported an old paid off ticket as a charge on my background check. I got released from **** **** and my name is clear of any charges. It was a ticket and that's all

      Checkr, got me fired from **** (7-12-23). I will not go onto their candidate portal and sign their crooked arbitration agreement. Today I was at ******************************* **** driver waiting lot. I waited for a ride request from **** for 35 minutes. I got a ding from **** first, so I took it. I logged out of ****. The next thing I know, when trying to go on line with **** again that day, I received a massage from them that my account was on hold and then I was fired. Checkr used a vague statement about me to ****. They stated to **** that I was given a UNLAWFUL USE OF TELECOMMUNICATION DEVICE WHILE DRIVING to exacerbate their paid for services by ****. My $60.00 ticket citation (4-18-23) actually states: Use of hand-held device prohibited while driving. I received that traffic citation on ************************* in ************, ********* for holding my phone and talking. The person I was talking to had a bad phone connection, I was on my speaker phone. As soon as I picked up the phone to bring it closerto hear, I was pulled over by a Highway Patrol lady. ************************* is not a highway. If I knew then what I know today and this ticket later being used as an excuse to fired me from ****, I would have protested that ticket in court. QUESTION; WHAT DOES THE ABOVE TICKET HAVE TO DO WITH **** deactivating me from their driving platform? Checkr gave me only 5 work days to respond. I have driven for **** for 7.5 years with a 5.0 rating. Again, **** is using a frivolous misdemeanor ticket for ulterior motives. I was not driving for Lyft that day. I did not have a **** passengers in my vehicle. I was not in route to pick up a **** passenger. I did not steal anybody's money, like they steal mind. I was not involved in fraud. I have been driving since **** with no accidents. It appears to me that **** new CEO has a hidden agenda to maximize profit. **** changes their rules at a drop of a hat with no prior warning to me the driver. They wil

      Absolutely terrible company. I've lost two jobs now with ******* and Uber because Checkr has the wrong driver's license on file and their system can't find my new one. They have no customer service (it's all automated and it doesn't work), so if you have errors on your report, there's no one to talk to and you have no recourse. If you have issues with this company, talk to a lawyer, because they're blatantly violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act.Shameful business practices.

      A+ BBB rating ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!Better Business Bureau should be ashamed of themselves. My 19 year old college student son was fired from DoorDash because of this incompetent, inaccurate "company". These guys are messing with people's lives and don't care one iota about accuracy, timeliness, or integrity. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE because you can't get a human.
