  I had an expired tag and title expunged on my record that Checkr out on my background check. Since that was no longer on public record I reached out to them via phone and held for 120 minutes. Once I left a call back number, no one returned my call. I emailed them and received a ticket number with an automated response. I am a single mom who lost their job and there is NO REASON I should not be able to Uber. With almost 200 BBB complaints and over 80 lawsuits it eludes me why this company is in business and why ***** ********* ***** etc rely on them. At the very least there should be someone to communicate errors on their end. But it seems like a staged company with no actual people to speak to verbally or written. I may be joining on that lawsuit trend soon.

  checkr cost me the only thing i ever loved doing. driving for Uber. they have taken it upon themselves to enter information from ****/1993. when i was 22/23 years old. i am now 53. hear that? FIFTY THREE YEARS OLD!!!. so i made a mistake by going to **. i still had a ** license and was fined/taken to court because i was operating on a ** license in **. BIG DEAL!!! ********************** SAVED this information? how the **** is a **** violation being counted NOW???? ***. this company is a fraud. i can not believe they did this to me. Thanks for nothing. you cost me my job. that's appreciated.

  They held my background check which is spotless for over 3 weeks. I am currently looking into a class action lawsuit for not only the effects their corporation has on an individuals earning but also the length of time it takes to resolve the issues. Im sure if it happens to me then theres millions who are experiencing the same problem.

  There is no reason that I have been waiting for more than 8 weeks for a background check that was just passed 2 weeks ago. This should be criminal, I have been waiting with no end in sight, there customer service is lackluster, and the their customer portal is a sham.

  My background check was submitted April 8th. It is now May 14th and all they have done is extend how long this process will take. It now says estimated completion may 23rd. What are they doing with my info? I currently drive a tow truck as my primary employment and had a live scan background to obtain this job. Results in 1 week to run a much wider range of background check. No customer service, truly despicable.

  False information on background check. Reported expired license but my license was updated to a new one. Currently waiting for them to fix the issue after disputing it. I was driving for uber for years and now all of a sudden, due to their error, i cant drive at the moment. Cant reach anybody in this poorly ran company. And who knows if they will ever resolve the issue due to how many complaints they get about this same issue. This company shouldnt even be allowed to run with that many complaints

  Absolutely horrible, horrible company. I have tried to be in contact with these people for over three weeks now I call and sit on hold for two hours at a time. I select the option for them to call me back but only get a phone call back to be told, they cant return my call because theyre called volume is too high? Then it refers you to send an email to their bot Support, which never goes anywhere. I am blown away by their outdated and miss informed information that came up on a background check for Uber eats that Ive already worked for this company for a year. Nothing has changed on my background check in a year . My account has been deactivated because checkr has me under the consider status, because on my criminal record two years ago, I had a failure to provide insurance to please officer, well anybody that does **** ****, ***** **** knows you have to have a valid license and you have to be insured. Not to mention I have to be insured to continue to have a valid drivers license as well as I pay restitution of $75 every month for the last year on this , I felt like somebody knocked the wind out of me. Uber eats did not have my back even though I was a reliable, trustworthy, friendly, high rating employee that made them a lot of money. They kick me to the curb. Uber eats did nothing only tell me to dispute my background check with checkr. Ive done it five times and get nowhere. I think its funny that I just on Friday passed a federal background check. I was offered a position with the United ********************* and passed an extensive background check but I cant pass a Checkr background check? And Uber goes off of what checkr recommends and its just it is absolutely disgusting to do this to somebody and I am going forward with a wrongful termination lawsuit as well as legal action against Checkr for not acknowledging my dispute for going off of outdated information and not even even taking a second to correct their mistake. Absolutely unprofessional.

  Horrible customer service. Out dated information found on background check. No way at all to get a real live human being been on hold for almost 1 hour. This company cant be that busy . Set up call back this morning never heard from them. Submitted ticket for incorrect information on background check last week never received a response from BOT. BOT does not human issues or problems. Spoken with attorney and will be moving forward with lawsuit for using same background check from 4 years ago also pulling misdemeanors from over 10 years ago that have been expunged ... Uber and Lyft should seek a more reliable company. Checkr SUCKS!!!!
