      NO SCAM PROTECTION, despite what eBay tells you. I bought an expensive item (countertop reverse osmosis filter) through a seller who had seemingly great reviews (95%+), and they scammed me by creating an actual tracking number for something that was never delivered to my address; in fact, the scam item was delivered to an entirely different zip code. I tried to resolve the issue with the seller, which failed; I then spent weeks contacting eBay's customer service multiple times, with proof that the tracked delivery zip code was different than my delivery address. I spoke to 5-6 different people and all of them, except one who actually tried to help but who wasn't in the right role to make a decision about my refund, repeated the same robotic thing: that my item had been delivered so there was nothing they could do. I even did their job for them and photoshopped my zip code and the actual delivery zip code side-by-side, and they still told me I was in the wrong and REJECTED MY APPEAL. Luckily, inundating the seller with messages led them to refund me themselves, but this was due to my *own* time and effort, and nothing to do with eBay's customer service. I realized that they also actively bury and dissuade negative reviews so that scammers like these can sell as they please.

      After purchasing several auto parts on Ebay and checking out as guest I decided to open an account to hopefully makes returns easier. As I filled out the info - especially my email address - I was told my account was permanently suspended.????? The key element is I HAVE NEVER EVER HAD AN EBAY ACCOUNT. I tried the links they tell you to use and they don't work. So I emailed customer (dis) service directly. I explained numerous times that I have never ever had an Ebay account and numerous times I I always got the same reply by different people that they understand my frustration but the permanent suspension is truly permanent and there is no appeal, that they cannot tell me why my account (again which I never had) is permanently suspended because I would use this information to circumvent EBAY'S community and put it some sort of danger. Every replay came from a person of south Asian ethnicity so I am assuming that Ebay outsources their customer disservice to some south Adian sweatshop. I urge all to avoid Ebay at any cost.

      ebay is a frudulent company that needs to be shut down. there are too many scammer selling junk and ebay has a stupid 30 day return policym after which time you're SOL. their customer service (if we can call it that) is TRASH. The people are disrespectfulm, unprofessional, and unintelligent.

      I sold an item on eBay back in Jan 8, I purchased an eBay shipping label service (First time to use) to send the item to the buyer in AL via ***** Ground (using ***** & to be delivered afterward through ***** after that it got stuck with ***** & showing received at ***** transit facility somewhere in ** by Jan 13, since that date no record of it, been in communication with the buyer, with ***** (Which is another ridiculous ********************************* and Nothing, eBay, said to file a complain, on their website, about the missing item, especially, after the buyer asked to be refunded back, after they guaranteed that the buyer got refunded, I didn't receive any resolution with this from ebay, and I submitted bunch of request about a missing item insurance, but nothing happens, & apparently after *****, found that they are due to pay the $100 insurance, instead (apparently they found it), & they gave it to **** to wash their hand off and avoid paying anything, which showed scanned by March 21 by ****, I visited ************ said it is apparently got lost, cause it has been over a month and no further record of it, & debated about how, as long it got scanned & received by them, how come a label got scanned, that has a bar code, and my ************** and the same info for the recipient, all got no meaning, & I put an investigation to that, & upon calling eBay, that tried to toss me back & forth to those parties, and they said their is nothing they can do about it, it is the responsibility of me & the carrier. NEVER EVER BUY ANY SHIPPING LABELS VIA EBAY, TOTALLY CORRUPTED & UNRELIABLE SYSTEM, & THEY LOSE STUFF, it made me lose an item worse $700.

      eBay suspended my seller account without providing a clear explanation or a way to appeal. I was selling handmade candles and apparel, and I believe this may have been triggered by a misunderstanding or automated system.I am requesting a manual review of my account and an explanation of the suspension reason. I am willing to provide any documentation required to resolve this matter.

      I have been selling on eBay for over 20 years. The seller's are being put in bad situations. With all the new postal regulation and shipping issues, they are holding the seller's accountable and charging the seller the shipping fees and not waiving the eBay fees while refunding the buyer's while an item is still in transit. If the item gets delivered it is up to the Seller to get the buyer to pay them and to pay for the postage if they want it returned. We have 3 days to resolve while the post office and *** Ex are taking up to 6 weeks and not issuing refunds to anyone, ever though it states items are insured. Just beware and make sure to read all these reviews before you commit to selling on eBay. Things are changing. eBay has come up with a arbitrator, why do you need one if no issues, and it is impossible to get through to one. Everything is just denied.

      DO NOT buy from sellers in other countries on eBay. They won't provide a return label.I bought an item from a seller in *****. The item was trash (not as described). eBay refused to issue a refund after the buyer wouldn't provide a return label. The buyer wanted me to pay for the return label and then they would "cover the cost". They also wanted my ****** account information. Super sketchy.Talked to a bunch of morons in ***** (customer service) and got nowhere.
