Beware!!!! Do not sell or buy on Ebay. I was a seller for about 3 weeks. I only sold one item during that time. Once the sale was completed, I discovered the true fee transactions process. I did not print labels, I used the post office priority box with the understanding that would be returned to me once the buyer paid it. I paid it to ship the item. The buyer paid it to Ebay then Ebay took the *****% out of the cost of the item plus the shipping. Not just out of the item. So I paid shipping to mail it and paid it to Ebay. How is this legal. When attempting to contact ***************** I spent 45 minutes trying to speak to a person. The person answered my questions, but had difficulty understanding at times. He basically said that was the process fee procedures when selling with them. I was told to just add it to the price of my items. Tried that for a week only to sell nothing. I don't know how shipping can be charged twice . This seems so illegal. The buyer left me a positive review. How they process all of the sales is totally screwed up. I told the ** person that without sellers, there would be no buyers. He let out a little laugh, saying Ebay is global so they will always have sellers. The federal government should investigate the shipping "processing" fees of Ebay. I will never sell or shop on Ebay.eBay Inc.

The percentage is based on the total amount of the sale includes the item price, any handling charges, the shipping service the buyer selects, sales tax, and any other applicable fees.Kindly note that the total final value fee is solely for the completion of a sale on our site and separate from shipping labels.This information can be found within our Selling fees help article: *****************************************. When it comes to shipping, it is not charged twice. The buyer will pay for their selected shipping service which will be part of the total sales amount. From there, sellers have the option to generate a label from our platform or going directly to their carrier of choice. While you may see a debit/charge within eBay or pay out of pocket with the carrier, the buyer has already provided funds for shipping.The common issue, and likely why you were encouraged to evaluate pricing, is due to some sellers miscalculating weight and dimensions of their items. This can cause shipping prices to be more than what the buyer paid, resulting in having to pay out of pocket and impacting your profit.However, if you mistakenly generated a label without printing/using it from our site then paid for label directly from a carrier, there is an option to cancel the label. DO NOT SELL OR USE THIS COMPANY. I listed an item and a buyer bought the item. I called an eBay representative to ask if the buyer was legit and not a scammer. The eBay representative assured me that the buyer was not a scammer and told me to ship my items to the buyer. The eBay representative assured me that the buyer's methods were normal and not in anyway associated with "fraudulent behavior." It has now been 5 business days and I still have not received my money for the 3 items I sold. I was scammed by the buyer and mislead by the eBay representative. If you cannot trust a customer service representative to guide you in the right direction, how can you ever feel safe to sell your merchandise? It makes me truly wonder was she helping to assist this scammer? Because of this mistake by the eBay representative, I am at a lost of $2400. eBay did not take fault and I am writing this today to hopefully prevent this same situation from happening to another seller. I filed a complaint and a police report as well. Save yourself the trouble and do not use this company.eBay Inc.

From the context of your complaint, we understand your issues is centered around receiving your funds from completed sales. With eBay managing your payments and facilitating the movement of funds, we are currently held to strict standards for account security and government compliance. Therefore, we have found that issuing payouts directly to your bank account to be the safest way to comply with these standards. As an eBay seller, you can designate your rate of payouts between daily, weekly, and monthly.
Furthermore, any member offering to buy or sell outside of eBay is not allowed. Buyers and sellers also can't share contact information, including email addresses and phone numbers, prior to completing a transaction on eBay. Contacting another eBay member to discuss moving a purchase off eBay exposes both the buyer and seller to the risk of fraud. It also means both buyer and seller are not covered by our protection programs. IF you encounter a member doing so, we suggest reporting them via our Help & Contact pages.

Ebay has a habit of removing listings for items that have clear pictures and receipts posted, ebay deletes them claiming they are counterfit. when you call it can take days to get a response. They cannot give you a decent answer for removing the items. They will give you adise on what you have to do to keep it from happening and when you do what they tell you to do they will still remove your listings. In one week they removed 26 of my Authentic listings that had receipts posted. Then they tell you if you repost them (ever) your account will be suspended. Ebay has become a very very very bad place to sell your items on. SELLERS BEWARE!!!!eBay Inc.

With that in mind, it seems like you may be dealing with a VeRO issue.eBay handles reports of unauthorized brand use in several different ways. Our first line of defense is our Risk Team who investigates eBay accounts and works directly with different brand owners to help identify these items. This is all done through our VeRO (Verified Rights Owner) program. A brand owner will detect signs of risky listings and report them to eBay. At that time, eBay is legally obligated to remove the product(s) from our site and review the seller account accordingly.It is a sellers responsibility to ensure the products they are selling can be listed. While we cannot guarantee that an account will be actioned in the future, it is always a best practice to review the email(s) sent regarding a violation so the same infraction can be avoided. WHEN THE 3 DAYS HIT YOU HAVE TO CALL AND BEG FOR YOUR MONEY.I SOLD A **** THE CUSTOMER DISPUTED AND SAID IT WASNT WORKING. WE CLEARLY HAD MESSAGES BACK AND FORTH ABOUT THE ***** THEY SIDED WITH ME BUT STILL HAD TO WAIT ON MY MONEY CAUSE THEN THE CUSTOMER FILED A DIPUTE ABOUT THE MONEY WITH THEIR BANK AND OF COURSE I WAS SCREWED OUT OF THE **** AND MONEY. I SOLD SOMETHING THIS TIME AND THEY ARE HOLDING MY MONEY FOR A MONTH NOW JUST TO MAKE SURE NO ONE ELSE HAS A DISPUTE.... ITS TOO MUCH OF A HASSLE TO GET YOUR MONEY FOR SOMETHING YOU SOLD. I ************ never broke a law or policy in my entire life as well as I am extremely honest and Ethical with extremely high integrity. I ************ never in my entire life was told I was harmful to anyone or any business and was denied service base of me being harmful as well as Ebay is stating extremely offensive and false statements against me which is illegal EBay is basing there decisions off they think I would be harmful to the Ebay community and do harmful things on Ebay. as well as Ebay is doing this ********* Ebay sellers by denying them Ebay services and Suspended there accounts. They suspended my account and will NOT give me any info as to why. When i try and rectify the situation i am put into an endless loop and there is no resolve. Can not get in touch with representatives. No customer service. Absurd business practice. Why is this allowed?! They will not disclose the reasoning behind my suspension... this is very frustrating. Don't waste your time with ebay. They should not be allowed to handle cases this way.eBay Inc.

1 starHorrible company that offers no seller protection for new, and/or low volume sellers. Third time ever selling on eBay, scammed by a buyer saying they didn't receive all parts from a package. I RECORDED A VIDEO of going through the components prior to shipping to verify all components were there. Despite telling eBay that I have a recording, they still refunded the ****** their full amount paid, all while they kept the parts. And * I was stuck with a product of little to no value. Doesn't hold sellers responsible for what's in their listings. If they offer a warranty 9/10 it's a scam. There is no warranty, only ebay's 90 day guarantee which is also trash.eBay Inc.
