I contacted customer, just because everytime I went to list something, it said "add about info" (to let buyers know who you are and build trust.) I wrote a short bio, nothing fancy just that - we are excited to start selling on ebay! I would click save. Well... it wouldn't save ... So on day 2, I was able to message or have ebay call me with my question. I click to have agent call. Not even 2 mins and they called! I was impressed! Very fast! The person was very hard to understand, but helpful. They told me to login on a different device and try that way. I did that and it did save my about info! While waiting for me to login, I ask where are they located. Answer - ********. I said oh wow it must be nice and warm there? They chuckle and say "do I sound american? And no, it's not warm where I am. I only get 16 minutes of daylight." I hope I misunderstood him!!We hang up, since my issue was resolved. That was around 3:30. At 430 I sell my 1st item! Super excited! I fuss making sure my 1st sale is packaged perfectly. By 515pm my account has been permanently suspended due to violating policies. Not a warning but 86ed for life. Im not allowed to use ebay again per their rules... When I contact them. I just get the same script over and over. They permitly suspended my account. I call and get a man I can't understand and he basically tells me the same exact script the email said and hangs up on me! I tried writing a message apologizing for whatever I did and trying to understand how to get my account compliant. Nope, same scripted email sent over and over Very discouraging ?? I couldn't message the buyer that had already paid. Which makes me feel terrible! So I try again to message customer service. Nope same scripted email... I still feel terrible about my experience ?? and I'm not positive of what I did wrong. Technology is brutal.... robots and broken English makes communication very difficult.

I ordered an item from ebay. The seller, lv_enterprise, did not send the item, and would not respond to messages that I sent. Ebay has done absolutely nothing to correct the problem and would not refund my money.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. This business has gotten so big they treat users like dirt because they know they have a monopoly on the online auction business. False accusations that you're selling counterfeit autographs, photos or goods. And on and on. Even if you have absolute proof to defend yourself, you're branded a criminal or scammer. Filing an appeal is useless as the **************** agent that made the false accusation in the first place is usually part of the "teams" that make the judgements on your appeal. The main problem seems to be the fact that eBay followed a lot of American based companies and moved most of their call centers offshore. I can't remember the last time I talked to an eBay CS agent that I could actually understand. I personally feel they do this just to frustrate people. It worked on us. I just hung up after neither the wife nor I could understand the horrible broken English. One agent finds your items acceptable while the next cancels the auction and punishes you. They cancelled 207 of my auctions of well-known models and celebrities as being "amateurs". Refused to let me defend myself and automatically found me guilty and punished me with a 3-day selling restriction. I did a search for many of the same exact photos and reported those I found. The y sent emails back stating "We looked into your report and didnt find the listing to be in violation of our policy. This determination was made by a customer service agent." Obvious discrimination.

********* about selling fees. EBay claims to only take 13-15% of the sale, but they include the shipping fee as part of the total. I sold an item for $20, shipping was $10, and I had to pay Ebay the shipping fee. So they charged me for a portion I paid back to them. The boost option takes additional fees. They took out almost half of my profit! I recommend other options.

I literally set up my account today. ********************** all of sudden suspended my account for no reason. I looked through my payments and there was no reason for them to even suspend me.

I was rather skeptical about some products on the eBay site as to whether they were genuine or not, but we all know there are many fakes out there, however, when is comes to currency, this is a different story. Under section 471 of the **** Criminal Code, whoever, with intent to defraud, falsely makes, forges, counterfeits, or alters any obligation or other security of the *************, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both. 18 *********, saying the above, some replicas can be made but they must abide by the following. Replicas of United States coins can be made, but they must be marked "COPY" to avoid being mistaken for genuine currency and to comply with the ************************ (***). I purchased coins and based on their title/review and knowing that eBay had a policy of protecting buyers, I took the chance. Below is the ad title FREE SHIPING 2024 American Silver Eagle $1 Coin 1 oz .999 Fine Silver sol-seedoflife The above clearly states that this product is .999 Silver and does NOT state that it is a copy. I received the product and promptly had them checked out to realize that they were indeed not silver at all, but some other metals. I contacted eBay support and below is what they wrote back to me!"We looked into your report and didnt find the listing to be in violation of our policy. This determination was made by a customer service agent"If you reported content that isnt listed below, well send a separate email once weve made a decision. Your reference ID This was my second report and also stating section 471 of the Criminal Code. Clearly eBay is not adhering to their once standards of protecting buyers from fakes and sellers on their site. It's understandable that it's not possible to catch everyone, but when it's brought to their attention and they don't do anything, well that's another story. Might want to reconsider buying things on eBay in the future!

Ordered Jamaican ***** from a scammer. Scammer took my money, never shipped my item, refused to cancel my order, and never responded to my messages. eBay only provided unhelpful automated options for sellers who have been scammed. I'm done with eBay!!

I was told by eBay to accept a return I never received back for $1700 from a scam buyer they agreed to refund me multiple times but now there making multiple excuses to not refund. I would hate to take this to Small claims court but if Im not refunded ASAP I will have to.I was told the return case was closed/denied because there were multiple delivery attempts to my address which isnt true. Ive attached ******************* below of all the tracking activity to confirm the item was never even in my city, also proof they agreed to refund me multiple times. it was attempted to be delivered 3 times to a city 2 hours away from me ( *********) (NOT SURE WHY). Please refund me ASAP as this has been very frustrating and stressful. The statements/excuses for no refund are false & completely not true after I was promised one multiple times by **** that confirmed the return was never even in my area Ive attached proof below. It was only shipped to ******************************* three cities I never been to & never in ******* where I live and was on the return address confirmed by eBay . You can easily see that by going on eBay and going to the return details & clicking the return shipping tracking, it shows the item was never sent to me eBay asked me to input my correct address for the return which I did in ******* ca & the previous **** confirmed that multiple times. I entered my correct address that was confirmed by multiple eBay ****. ** you look at the first message in this email reply thread youll see it was attempted to be delivered to a completely different city multiple times which isnt my fault. I entered the correct return shipping information which was already confirmed. I was home all week waiting and ***** never showed up once to *******. Refund me now please thanks instant refund to my eBay account of $1700, as well as covering the ebay fees or check.

I purchased what was thought to be a Kala ukulele and got a Makala ukelele instead. When I try to contact the seller, or eBay, and I clicked on return/refunds It came back as " something went wrong." I then contacted my credit card company and told them I was having trouble getting hold of eBay and the. My credit card company said that I bought the product via ****** and directed me to let ****** know that you will try to work it out with the company. I went back to eBay and finally got through to get a refund/return. They told me that my refund was labeled resolved because I was talking to my credit card company. Now I can't get a hold of anyone through eBay. Horrible experience with eBay. Avoid eBay!!!!
