      Their money back guarantee is worthless. I purchased a part from one of their highest rated sellers and when it arrived it didn't fit my car. So I contacted the seller to return it and the seller told me to take it to any shipper I wanted to and get a tracking number and receipt for the cost of shipping it back to them and they would refund me the cost of the part and the shipping when they received the part at their facility. The part cost $44 and the shipping cost $102 so I thought it was kind of stupid of them to have me ship it back to them rather than just throwing it away.Well I found out why they had me pay for the shipping it's because they had no intention of refunding me the shipping costs. And when I asked eBay to step in and help me they told me it was my fault for listening to the seller and following his instructions instead of reading all the policies that eBay has. But they could put the policy that buyers should "NEVER" pay for shipping in big letters everywhere, instead of telling the buyers to contact the obviously sneaky dishonest buyers for returns so they can take advantage of us. eBay claims you don't have to worry about getting taken advantage of that they guarantee your money is protected, well I'm calling a big BS on that. The seller that ripped me off is still doing business like usual ( lying and cheating his buyers) and eBay is still making money off of the dishonest sneaky sellers they rate so high.

      They are a complete scam with fees. They say they charge 13.6% in fees which is already high but then when I looked after the sale it shows 15%. Not only did they charge 15% they charge that fee on the total of what the customer paid with tax so if the item was 100$ and the customer paid 110$ with tax then they would charge 15% on that . So not only are they making me pay 15% they are making me pay it on the tax amount not sale amount

      My account got permanently suspended for... selling a product. Now I also have no way of knowing if my buyer received the baby clothes I sent her. From the information I've been able to find from reviews (no help from eBay whatsoever) I made the account years ago so maybe that made me look suspicious. Or maybe because I moved since, we're talking 2018/19 here so yeah, I didn't stay "home". I don't even think I care about the money even though I considered selling elsewhere until I saw that someone bought it, and I already sent it. I just want her to have gotten her order.

      Charged 20 dollars on a 70 dollar sale. And shipping estimates are way off. Estimated ************************************** 38. Only made 10 dollars off the sale.

      eBay does not believe in customer service. I waited a full week before pressuring a seller for a non-shipped item, then submitted an "Item Not Received" request several days later per policy, and I'm told I have to wait an additional week before eBay will step in. Meanwhile, the seller has closed their shop, unlisted their items, and clearly won't be delivering the item. eBay's customer service was unhelpful and refused to escalate the case, despite obvious red flags. I feel punished by following their rules. eBay's buyer protection should protect buyers, not delay resolution for when a seller disappears. Thus leaving me having paid for an item for nearly a month before a resolution can be resolved. I feel scammed.

      I purchased a ** computer in February 2025 and began having problems 2 months later. I called Ebay and the agents all acted confused when I explained that the warranty was already expired. I even bought insurance and I'm receiving a major run-around. Ebay has even erased the computer purchase out of my purchase history. I'm out hundreds of dollars.

      As a long-time eBay seller, I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with how eBay has handled my account situation. My account was permanently suspended under MC113 back in 2021, and since then, I have been completely blocked from making any changes or even updating basic contact information like my mobile number.Recently, I tried to contact eBay to simply update the phone number on my account because I no longer have access to the old one. The support agent told me that nothing can be done because the account has been blocked by their "back office" and is considered permanently suspended.This is unacceptable. I was not given any clear reason for the suspension at the time, and to make matters worse, I am now being denied access to even manage my own account details. No appeals process. No human follow-up. Just a flat-out rejection with no explanation.I sold shoes and electronics on eBay and built my store through time, effort, and investment. To be locked out permanently without a chance to resolve or appeal the matter shows how flawed and unaccountable eBays system has become. Sellers are treated as disposable, with no transparency and no opportunity for resolution.eBay needs to:Provide a clear and fair appeals process for suspended accounts Allow users to update their contact information, regardless of account status Stop hiding behind the vague term "back office" to avoid accountability I trusted this platform and contributed as a seller. Now I cant even access my own account or speak to someone with real authority. Very disappointed.

      Awful experience. I will never use Ebay again. I made a purchase on Ebay, and never received the item. I reported this, and they just closed my case directly, asking for more proof. What proof can I show for not receiving the item? So ridiculous.

      Do not trust ebay. Buyer have scammed me with switched returns. They claim it did not work. False. They switched the top half of my keyboard and returned it to me. I'm out the product and money. I'm stuck with a product I can't sell. Ebay was no help to me. They side with the scammers. Think twice about doing business on ebay. Thank you.
