I purchased a transmission floor **** back on 2/28/25 for $178.99. Item was delivered to wrong address. The seller never responded to me at all. I engaged eBay support and they are completely outsourced and have no idea what they are doing. I spoken with their support 3 times over the course of 3 months. Each person says something different. Last 2 ***s stated Id get a refund. I never got it. The last *** I spoke with stated since its been over 30 days there is nothing they can do. I will close my eBay Account for good. Do Not I ***eat Do Not do business with them. Not sure how long theyve been like this wow they are incredibly inept as a company.

Ebay could not care any less about the sellers on their platform. You should consider yourself lucky to gross 50% of what you sell an item for. Fees have gotten to be absolutely outrageous to the point it makes more sense to sell your stuff for pennies on the dollar at a yard sale. However, the most frustrating part of selling on eBay is the seeming vendetta eBay has against their sellers. Buyers are allowed to walk all over the sellers, and there is absolutely nothing you can do to stop it. I have never, not a single time in 6 years of selling on here, ever won a case against a buyer, no matter how frivolous it is. The final straw for me is that a buyer bought an item for me, opened a return against me claiming I sent the wrong item, and returned the item to me, despite my "no returns" policy (I don't even know why eBay allows you to have that setting on, as it is totally useless, the buyer can just do whatever they want). As part of their return, they sent photos of the supposed "wrong item," which perfectly matched what I had in the listing. Despite that, eBay ruled in favor of the buyer, as expected. I appealed the decision, and of course, they ruled in favor of the buyer yet again, without even responding to my appeal. Now I am out $30+ on an item I sold for $25, and only grossed about $12 from, because eBay still kept the fees from my original sale, kept the money I paid to ship it the first time, and held me responsible for paying to ship the item back to my house. I am totally through with eBay's hatred of the sellers that keep the platform running. The only positive thing I can say about this app is that if you're a buyer, and you want to take advantage of someone, eBay offers plenty of opportunity to do so.

I tried to sell an item on eBay and had an order but the buyer canceled the order. I went in and canceled the order but did not cancel the shipping. I did not find out they charged me for the shipping ($136), even though the order was canceled, until I got my bank statement over 30 days later. I tried to get the shipping cost refunded, but eBay stood fast that they would not refund my shipping costs after 30 days.

If I could give a "0", I would. eBay does not use 2FA for purchases. To this day my credit cards keep getting hacked with fraudulent eBay charges and I cancelled my account years ago. Last summer I had to get two ***** credit cards (United and Southwest) replaced 5 times each all because of fraudlent charges from eBay. This summer I'm already at 2 times replacing both these cards. This is a poorly run operation that apparently has no concern for securing customer information. It's almost to the point where I suspect they may be in on it.

I tried to sell an item on eBay that was sold but never shipped because of problems scheduling shipping. I asked the buyer to ask for a refund from eBay. Instead of ebay returning the payment to the buyer, they charged me for refunding the customer $65.00. I never received any payment for the item and in fact still have it. I have tried to use their system to rectify this issue to no avail. Ebay should have returned the customers payment, not me.

My eBay account "Best Deals 411" was restricted for alleged copyright infringement while dropshipping from ******. Despite reaching out to eBay support, I received unhelpful responses. The process feels unfair and frustrating. I hope eBay reviews my case and provides a resolution.

eBay is a terrible company. Do not do business with them. They cheat you out of money you never even make on a sale when they decide to do a return on an item you listed as no returns accepted and automatically deduct money from your checking account.

I have been using eBay for years and felt confident in their buyer guarantee but they have let me down. I purchased a $200 trading card and I received the package empty with nothing included. The seller could have shipped an empty box to pocket the money. eBay made me go through the process of filing a police report. I attempted to do so but my local police station directed me to ****, the shipper. I told eBay this was the case and they continue to insist the only way for me to get a refund will be to file a police report. Absolutely ridiculous, I have a vast history of successful purchases while the seller has a recent negative feedback from another buyer that never received their item. The eBay buyer guarantee is a bunch of garbage clearly. Literally been using it for 20+ years but never again if its that easy for a seller to defraud buyers.
