      0 stars.eBay blocked me (their customer) and my account for many years due to unknown reasons. When I first asked why several years ago, they refused to tell me. Fast forward a few years up to today when I asked again, now they were unable to find a reason. Account: delete.I have using other alternatives, but this has been one of those unusual curiosities. I guess it unsolved for the ages.eBay equates to how it treats its customers: a company that is a horrific pile of trash. eBay should be ashamed of themselves.

      I sold the 88-piece Vintage Hand Painted Gold China Dinnerware Sets made in Occupied ***** almost 80 years ago (hard-to-find collectables worth $800) on eBay for $300. I received $234.71 for this sale. However, eBay charged me $359.00 for the return of this "No Return" item without seller's permission and without investigation to determine whether the damage to 7 valuable pieces was caused by the carrier ******* or by the buyer who might have mishandled the package. eBay also charged me another $71.90 for the return shipping label (total $430.90). For this sale, I lost 8 valuable pieces of the Dinnerware Sets and ended up with a loss of $196.19 ($430.90 - $234.71), which is totally unfair, unprofessional and unacceptable to any sellers. Who will ever want to sell anything on eBay if sellers could suffer such a huge loss?First, eBay made a big mistake not giving the buyer $25 refund at the beginning after the buyer received the package and asked only for $25 refund for the broken pieces instead of returning of the package. Second, eBay mistakenly allowed the buyer to return the No Return item to the seller without sellers permission. Third, eBay mistakenly allowed the buyer not to return 7 broken pieces of the dinnerware sets without sellers permission. Due to eBays several mistakes, eBay must be fully responsible for all the financial losses caused by the unauthorized return of this sold No Return item. In addition, the 7 broken pieces are still valuable to the seller and need to be returned to the seller immediately and unconditionally. I am asking eBay to refund me this unauthorized charge of $196.19. If eBay keeps denying my simple request, I will contact my bank to dispute and reverse the payment for the unfair/unauthorized charges to my account. Additionally, I will report eBay's bad business practices to the ************************ at the following website: ***************************.

      I sold a item on Ebay and they tell me mt money will be released 24 to 48 hours, the ************************************************************* it will be longer because it their policy but when speaking with their customer service I was told that since the customer left a positive review and received the item that my money would be leased. And here I am with my money on hold still. It's been 3 days now. I have all the conversations saved that shows them straight up lying.

      I bid on ebay for an antique wall clock. The web **** said that I was the highest bidder. The bidding ended and the it indicated that another person had the highest bid. That is so wrong, I was never given a chance to bid higher, why would I when I was being told that I was the highest bidder? This process is terribly unfair. The bids should be shown, every auction I have attended gives the buyers a final opportunity to bid higher ie. going once, going twice and sold. Bottom line? Ebay lies when informing that you are the highest bidder when you no longer are.

      My ebay account that I have held since 2012 was hacked at the beginning of April. I have called ebay several times to resolve the issue and it continued to get hacked. ****** sold 8k coin and I can't get into my account. I have called ebay to close my account and they have continued to leave my account up and send me emails how my account is delinquent of almost 8k. Im at a loss. I dont know what to do. I just want my account closed and ********************** puts me in a circle. I have no access to my account anymore.

      Would give zero stars if I could! This company is flat out complicit in enabling scammers and fraudulent behavior. This money back guarantee policy has attracted scammers from every corner of the globe to capitalize on to hurt and put sellers at a disadvantage. eBay does not care for any evidence you provide them with to help weed out these bad actors. Its almost like they take offense to us wanting to expose the fraudsters and happily rewards them. Its quickly becoming a sinking ship. Not to mention the 30 day window for buyers to exploit sellers and abuse your items to then shove it back in your face. For items like clothing, isnt it rational to say one would know within 1-3 days upon receiving the item if its what they want? Why 30 days for them to go club popping in peoples goods to then seek a return on the literal last day given to them to return? Ebay is SENSELESS AND FOOLISH in its decision making and is only hurting themselves. I hope other marketplace app like ******** provides international shipping soon to do away with this horrible company called eBay.

      Bought a piece of electronic equipment from them. They offered to deliver it which we met them and payed them cash..When we got home the equipment didn't work and when we asked if we could send it back to them, they said we had to drive it to them 2 and a half hours away. They said they have our money but we can't drive to them. We offered to send it back overnight and we would pay for it. Also we couldn't get them on the phone only texting and they were condescending and rude calling my husband a old man and making rude comments because I'm disabled. I'm the wife. This company is the worst I have ever dealt with. Such a shame people treat people so poorly.
