I setup a new personal PayPal account on July 18th(07/18/2022). My friend sent me an amount via PayPal and I immediately received the notice that my account was being permanently limited. I have not conducted anything in order for this action to have taken place against me and would like for my account to be restored.Business Response

My name is *******. I created a paypal business account for my new launching business. I got an email at 9.32p moments later that there was information needing to be verified and then a second email immediately after, still at 9:32p, that "I'm no longer able to do business with Paypal". I didn't have a chance to verify the information that was needed. I am a legitimate business, registered with my state and can't seem to understand why I would be banned with absolutely no activity on the account yet. This is very frustrating and making it hard for me to properly set up my business.Business Response

This is my third time in 2 years receiving a call of past due payment to Pay Pal. I do not have a pay pal account and am not associated with pay pal in any way. I have filed fraud complaints with this company and received letters stating I did not make the charges and such accounts were closed. Yet again today I was told there was a 3rd account in my name and they needed payment.
Please take note of this situation as I am tired of having to resolve this issue with credit agencies.

I opened a paypal account; verified with info from small deposits from my bank, as requested. I was notified all my funds from that point forward would be instantly available. I was able to deposit funds into my bank account.
Until recently. Paypal is withholding some of my funds. I called & they reuse to tell me why. I refuse to upload the invasive & highly sensitive info they now require. Because of this I was advised my funds would be available in 6 months, without interest. SIX MONTHS. I tried to delete my banking info & have been prevented from doing that, as well. My bank now has fraud alerts on file regarding Paypal, in order to protect myself.Business Response

Hi , I have create my PayPal account 4-5 months ago , I was using him to receive and send money only . My PayPal email is***************************** and my PayPal country is FR . In the past 5 days I have decided to join the world of dropshipping so I create a store and I try to link my PayPal to my Shopify store but they request me to upgrade my PayPal account to a business account.I did it and PayPal request me to proof my address and I instantly provide them with the required documents but after one day my account get limited . I'm really disappointed and I'm sure that I didn't anything wrong or that go again user agreements . PayPal is unfairly holding over 40,000 dollars from me and have not provided any reason. They also allow customers to file a complaint even when I have proof of product delivery and they do not allow me to respond to claims. PAypal allows customers to file claims or "chargebacks" and does not allow their clients to respond or rebuttal them if paypal has terminated their relationship with the client. So a customer can purchase an item, file a claim saying they did not recieve said item and even with proof of delivery paypal will not consider the proof and hand over the money back to the purchaser.. this is aiding and abetting theft.
Also in paypals response to me they claim because 2 customer files claims against me that it was "proof " i was selling unauthorized items. there is no way to confirm this on paypal end as they do not have the items in hand to review, and a simple claim from a disgruntled customer furthermore is not proof of any issue with out products. This is an ******* way of reasoning.

I had booked a hotel ******************* in January for a concert in June. We arrived at the hotel and it was permanently closed due to unsafe conditions. We looked for a number and there was none. We actually got escorted off the property by a police offer. No way to get in contact with them. We went to another hotel. We weren't notified by *********** about any of this. I got in contact with *********** and explained everything to them through emails and texts messages and they wouldn't refund our money because they said the hotel relocated us which wasn't true because the number to hotel was disconnected and we never spoke to any one from the hotel ********************* So after 2 weeks of arguing with them I contacted PayPal which is who I paid it through. I explain to them on the phone what happened and they said they would look into it. So after almost a month they denied my claim because I didn't have confirmation that they were closed. I asked how was I suppose to do that when the hotel was condemned? They will not refund my money which is totally wrong because we never got to stay in the hotel! I sent all texts and emails to PayPal and they never looked into it properly or they would of known it was closed. I am so irritated because how can you keep someone money when they never received what they paid for? I really hope you can get better results for me. April 2022 I had a charge of $10 on my card and disputed the transaction. Paypal deactivated the card immediately with $200 still linked to said card. I've not received a new card as of August 2022 and have been denied access over and over again. Every phone call leads me in circles and after 40 minutes on the phone being treated badly, again I have been hung up on. I still have zero access to my $200 and no answers as to why or where it is.Business Response

My PayPal account was permanently locked in the beginning of July. I contacted PayPal multiple times and have received no explanation as to why this happened. Their customer service told me to "make another account with a different email address". I reviewed my activity and see nothing that would violate their TOS.
