      paypal is holding much needed funds without giving a reason or ever trying to provide resoloution. as the seller there was no complaint from the buyer and my small family business is out 4000 usd. more than my weekly gross ********* answers, only that my money will be held for 180 days and only then will they decied to keep it or return my money they are trying to steal!

      Lying and dishonest customer service agents who will lie to you repeatedly. I got scammed with a Tik Tok purchase that I used PayPal on. The tracking information I received was clearly false, with grammatical errors throughout. Stated product was delivered at 4:42am. NO delivery service works at that hour. Seller stopped communicating. Place claim through PayPal and case kept getting delayed for over a month. Provided a high level of proof, and that was not good enough. Tried using the 888 number and was lied to 3 times. 1st time said they will forward me to credit department,waited 40 minutes and I was disconnected. 2nd call agent said I would be getting a refund the next day. Ask if I would receive a confirmation and they said yes, email will happen, and this did not happen. 3rd time agent said he noticed that the seller has been PayPal and he has favored in my case. I said I want to stay on the phone until I receive confirmation. 20 minutes of waiting and he said the system is slow but he guaranteed the money is being returned so I agreed to end the call. 15 minutes I did get am email, but its stating my claim has been denied! 3 agents stated I would get the refundable and they all lied. Chat agents stated they have to protect sellers as well. I was asked to contact **** to get proof the item was not delivered and the only tracking number I received was through 17 ********* which was fraudulent info and **** they can't track anything that they didnt receive. As a long time customer, they should be ashamed by these business practices. I will not give up getting my money back!

      This complaint is about *****, which is owned and operated by PayPal, Inc. I was the target of a fraudulent chargeback after a buyer used ***** to pay for a service and then filed a dispute after receiving everything she paid for. I submitted documentation to defend myself, but the app would not allow me to upload it before the due date.When I contacted ***** support, a representative told me I could still submit evidence after the deadline and that my case would be escalated and reopened. I followed those instructions exactly. Over a week passed with no response. When I finally received a reply, I was told my case was closed and could not be reviewed further despite the fact that I followed the guidance of their own employee.Venmos internal processes are inconsistent and misleading. They failed to provide a clear resolution, mishandled my escalation, and gave me inaccurate information that led to an unfair outcome. Ive already submitted a formal complaint to the ************************************ (****) and am now preparing to file in small claims court to recover the money Venmo wrongly removed from my account.This is not just a personal issue Venmo and PayPal have a history of being investigated by the *** for misleading users and mishandling transaction disputes (FTC Case Reference). Sadly, its clear that little has changed.

      PayPal took 373 dollars out of my account . No record of a charge, no explanation, no pending tranasactions, no past due balanced owed. Just straight wiped out 373 dollars from my account

      Many years ago, PayPal was great. I had an account with them. I tried to close it. I attempted MANY TIMES to close the account. I was not allowed to close it. Trying to reach a human being that could help can literally take over an hour, with interminable music waits. I was informed my account had restrictions, but couldn't figure out why. They stated I did not owe them any money. Finally, they told me I would have to send them my social security number and a copy of a government photo id to close it. I refused, threatening reports to the **********************************, ****** and others. It was truly maddening. It seemed to me that they were forcing me to keep a credit account, with zero balance, open. After multiple attempts, spanning literally months, I was finally able to get them to close my account. I want nothing to do with these people. **************** is HORRIBLE. I cannot tell you how bad it is. Plus, I felt that they were trying to extort information out of me that I did not wish to give; and thay they were trying to keep another open credit account. Folks, the only way to stop this stuff is to cancel any business you have with them. They are atrocious. Also, I can't understand why I can't find a way to do a ****** Review on them.

      I made an account with ********************** years ago and never used it. Someone got into my account and created a bitcoin or whatever its called crypto and somehow jacked up my account leaving me with a balance of $163 that I have to pay. I keep calling them to resolve the issue and they never fix it. I was scammed and they want me to put my bank information in there so I can pay. Im not doing that. I didnt cause all that. they admitted to seeing all that has happened and still want me to pay the $163 because they cant get it back from the scammer. Mind you my Social Security number is on there. So be worn before making a PayPal account.

      I initiated a transfer from my bank by ach to my partner through paypal. I initiated on 6/13. They took the funds from my account on 6/16 and when i called on 6/18 to verify the trasnfer details the *** continued to read from a script, not listen to what i said and after asking ***eatedly to be transferred and for clairifcation on what they were doing with the funds they had debited she started telling me they dont tolerate the attitutde despite the fact she was not answering my question and was just reading a script on ***eat and when i gave her answers she would ask a question for the very info i had given her 5 seconds prior. hugely unprofessional and i will be closing my account as soon as the transfer is finished

      When my PayPal account dropped by over $2,000 overnight, I called PayPal to dispute a large payment to **** for services already paid for. (**** had already admitted to over -billing, but has refused to refund my money.) PayPal instructed me to wait a few more days, then call back if the refund had not arrived and they would contact **** and go to bat for me. Now when I call PayPal they put me on hold and then the machine hangs ****** **** has made up another fake charge which PayPal has honored, putting me farther into the red, while my legitimate bills are not being paid. Are PayPal and **** in a racket together to wreck the lives of working poor?

      Terrible. Money stolen from my account. No help retrieveing it. Can't even close the account. Besides that it's slow and hard to navigate.Wouldn't recommend.

      Your resolution team is ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE! I have been a Paypal account holder since your first year as Paypal (2000), and closed my account today. As a seller, I have had numerous disputes closed in the buyers favor, but file one myself and the ignorance of your dispute team ruled in a ********** from ******/****. This is prime display of how thorough your protection is now, for buyers/US buyers.
