Inspire is a Scumbag company which scams hardworking people into a fraudulent clean energy program where they lie to your face about monthly costs based on your usage. They guaranteed me it would not exceed $69 a month plus the cost of delivery fees by my main supplier. After 3 months it changed from $69 to $269 plus my supplier delivery charges. I was never told it would be changing after 3 billing cycles and have never had a bill as high as what Inspire has scammed me into. They should be banned and brought up on charges and made to pay back all who have been stolen from.

This company is a scam. My electric invoice never been over $1200 for the last 10 years and the last 5 months my invoice have tripled.
After calling the company they tried to tell me that my supply rate was doubled without my knowledge despite the fact that I never signed any agreement with them. My wifed was tricked and lied to when she was at BJS and was told that the rate will be the same and nothing will change. The company owes me over $6000 in overcharges, I will need a full refund otherwise I will take them to court and sue for all overcharges and attorney fees. People are working hard to make end meet and this company steals money from normal citizens, it’s disgusting and unethical practice.

I had an amazing interaction with Joshua S******* and Christopher H******* two weeks ago in the Giant Eagle in Eastgate Plaza (Greensburg, 15601). They were both so very friendly and they were both knowledgeable. They both had such an amazing conversation with me and just talked to me. The process was quick, but very knowledgeable. They did not lie to me, either. I asked them what my current rate is and if they could see it, which I was told that they could not see my current rate, however most suppliers are between 11 to 14 cents, which they were absolutely correct. I even pulled up the PA Power Switch when I got home. I told them I got burnt before at WalMart and they described why that would have been, because of other supplier's trial periods, but told me they would not do that and that they could help me even though I was burnt before.
I thought it may have been too good to be true, but once I went through all the paperwork sent to my email, I found that it was exactly what they had told me and described to me. I told my friends about it, and they ended up signing up as well. All in all, I wanted to say that Inspire is here to help people, not hinder. People have had issues, but if you look into the energy cost predictions for the next 12 months, you'll see that the energy rates are going to continue going up higher and higher. The 10-cent rate I got is the best rate out there, and it's 12 months, with no commitment or fees; who wouldn't do it? Especially with all of the increases just this year alone!
If you are going to sign up with Inspire Clean Energy, please make the drive to Eastgate Plaza inside the Giant Eagle and talk with Joshua or Chris or both because they know what they're doing, and they won't lie to you. Please go there, make the extra drive, or call to make sure one of them are specifically there before going. It's worth it and worth your gas and drive going to Greensburg!

We were stopped in BJs to ask to switch to a clean energy provider and the rep assured us our bill would never go over a certain $$ amount (flat rate) & discussed the cost per kWh. They mentioned we would save money by also helping the environment by going with them. Well our last 3 bills they have “matched” nation grid basic fixed service bill amount, so if my energy bill was $110, they also charged us $110 & my new monthly bill was $220 for a tiny apartment where during the summer and work days I am not even using a ton of electricity!! Absolutely terrible service, no email communication or promised gift card (2 $50 cards) have yet to be sent. Never paid this much in energy in all my years as a renter. Will be calling to cancel ASAP. Unenrolled from auto bill pay because I don’t trust this shady company to not keep taking payments!

and Ohio Edison that said someone was coming for a service update. I said no. And then she asked me if I got my bill in the mail or online and I said online. And she said well I need you to pull your bill up online so I can verify it. I said verify what? And she said she needed to verify my information for the utility companies. I asked her where her permit is and who the hell is she. She showed me a plastic badge that said “Inspire” I then realized she was probably one of those door to door utility people that pester me in spite of the fact I clearly have a NO SOLICITOR

Sales Rep came to my door and guaranteed Inspire would save me lots of money on my monthly electric bill. I switched and got way overcharged. Ohio Edison told me today Inspire is charging me $15.99 vs Ohio Edisons $6.29. Racket scam company needs stopped coming to senior citizens doors!

A person came door do door promising that there is an offer ongoing with the company that we pay a fixed price of 49$ per month for the whole year for electricity. and he told that this is for clean energy siginng up etc. Apparently this was only for a month and they started charging me 139 per month after first month and they sent me an email about it. obviously they will send other emails so that you ignore the one where they mention about this trail expiry. so i have been paying 140 a month for 6 months until i realised that i was ripped off. now when i ask them, they keep saying its because of my usage, and to cancel it, they are saying that it will take 2 billing cycles. I would not even give a single star to this company. this is a huge scam in the market and i will agree with other reviews posted here

Came to my door explaining that they work for PS&G in NJ and that PSE&G was double charging me for electricity because I live in an apartment complex. The woman "Amanda" then said PSE&G doesn't actually sell the energy and that I was being double charged because multiple third parties were supplying my energy. She told me to sign up for her energy exclusivity agreement and that my bill would drop. Upon leaving I read the pamphlet she handed me and of course nothing she said was remotely true. Everything online also supports that this company is just out to scam you. I'm stupid and gullible and fell for it. Please don't be like me. This company is 100% fraud.

Basically the same thing as everyone else has already said. Got approached in BJ's about having cheap clean energy and a month later got an almost $400 bill when my usage in the past 2 years averaged between $66 to $90 a month. Called the first time and they said they would see what they could do for me about refunding the outrageous amount and never got back to me then 4 days later I get a letter in the mail stating my new rate is over $300 a month. I called back and asked what they were going to do about my almost $400 bill and they pretend that they said that they already said I cannot be refunded then realized by the call log that they did promise that they will look into it for me and just said that they are sorry but that representative was wrong and they have a no refund policy. I asked her how would she feel if she was in my position on a budget and now facing a payment 4 months worth of electricity and she didn't say anything. I asked who will pay the late fees every month since I wouldn't be able to pay all at once she said she is sorry but they can't do anything about it. They basically charged me almost $1 per KW and I'm stuck with the bill. I guess now I'll just have to leave $400 worth of bad reviews on every possible platform on the internet. Stay away from these people.

This company is an absolute fraud. Today (8/23/22), an Inspire sales rep (black man in gray Inspire T-shirt and red lanyard) rang my doorbell in NJ. When we didn't answer the doorbell, he started trespassing onto the side of my house and looking at the electricity meters. I finally had to come out of my house to ask him what he was doing and why he was loitering on my property. He was advertising "clean energy" based on Biden's new bill to increase taxes for people using nonrenewable energy sources. As I was standing there listening to him and saying "ok", this sales rep had the audacity to ask me why I looked annoyed and that he wasn't here to fight me. I said "I know you're not here to fight me. I'm just wondering why you're here." He replied "you have a very aggressive stance. You didn't understand me when I asked how you received your bill. I'm going to leave now. It's your loss." I never once yelled at this man or insulted him. I barely even said any words to him and I have video evidence of this. I understand that everyone needs to work and the sales rep needed to say his sales pitch. But that doesn't mean I need to stand there with a smile on my face listening to your sales rep when they trespassed onto my property, lurked on the side of my house, and misconstrued and criticized my body language when I had a very neutral expression. I never want to see any of your sales reps in front of my house again. Don't knock. Don't ring the doorbell. If I see anyone trespassing, I am calling the police
