      I have never spoken with someone from this company, no one ever came to my door. I would not sign up even if they did because I already made this mistake years ago. Inspire has been tacked into my electrical bill for 3 months now, I just noticed. I have left them a voicemail along with contacting my electric company and my attorney. Livid.

      SCAM someone came to my door and made it seem that I’d be paying less for my electric. Told me all my neighbors signed up as well. Next thing I know my electric bill TRIPLED. After cancelling with them I was told it would go through in 1-2 billing cycles. Stay far away and make sure your cancellation went through to your electric company

      Aggressive, misleading salesmen attempted to have me fraudulently sign up for their services under the guise of being from National Grid offering me a credit. They tried to have me sign a contract to start service, misrepresenting what the contract stated. Once I was able to read the contact I declined, and the salesmen knew the gig was up and walked away. I could hear them mocking me afterward. How professional.
      This is disgusting behavior and these are deceptive practices. This company should look into who they hire and outsource for customer service and maybe check on whether they should push sales like this. Unbelievable.

      I wish there was an option for no stars! I’m furious with this company! I’ve received emails, two of which were in under 24 hours, and I’ve repeatedly told them to take me off whatever list, unenroll me from whatever they think that have me enrolled in, and that I don’t plan on changing carriers or having them added onto my bill and they are still sending me emails stating that Ohio Edison gave them the “go ahead”. If anybody knows of any resolution to this situation please let me know!

      Zero stars. I was approached while shopping at BJ's and assured I could save on my electricity supply bill (guaranteed the same or lower rate) while using clean energy. Sounded great. I signed up. My rate went UP 320% from .10287 to .3299. My bill INCREASED by $350 in two months. Moving to Inspire cost me $350 so far. I have re-enrolled with my former energy supplier but expect it to take another month to take effect. This is classic bait and switch and bad business. Do not recommend.

      Complete Scam. They sell you more expensive electricity, even though they sign you up saying that your bill will go down. Unacceptable. The sales person lied by stating my electric company charges me $.18/kWh when in reality, they only charge $.07. They conveniently offered me electricity at $.12/kWh. Nice little profit on their end and making me think that I was going to save money. Luckily, I caught this and canceled before the first billing cycle. I'm happy to support renewable energy, but not through a company that lies and deceives its customers.

      Representative came to the door and when asked to leave (they come monthly or so) claimed that he was “sent out by the State of Ohio to get the other solicitors to stop.” He claimed if I signed up with them, that I would no longer have “those other people” coming to my door.

      Sales rep came to the door misrepresenting herself as some sort of person sent to make sure I was complying with some sort of energy program and kept insisting she needed to see my utility bill so she could take a picture of it.. she kept saying she needed a picture of the bill… Nothing she said made much sense but she was so insistent and a young kid too so I didn’t want to be rude. I finally got her to leave but she had all the Inspire gear and badge. Put these people out of business they scamming people and have young kids out here teaching them how to break the law

      Inspire Energy is a scam. They lied that the monthly supply charge would be an average and go down. Instead, they increased my monthly COST.

      Companies like this bring a bad name to other genuine companies who are trying to actually do something good with clean energy.

      This firm needs to be sued for sending sales reps to our homes and sells us false information.
