      I have had a yahoo mail account for over 10 years that I use daily. When trying to log into my account from my laptop, I was asked to enter a verification code. I entered the correct alternative email address that I used to recover accounts but I never actually received the code from yahoo (I checked all folders multiple times). According to customer support, my ************ are to create a new account or pay $12 for them to recover my account for me. That seems unfair since its not my fault their system isnt sending out my code properly. It feels like a scam that they are locking me out of my account (even though I have proper recovery methods in place) and not giving me an alternative way to get back in, aside from paying them. I have no problem receiving verification codes from other platforms. It feels as though Yahoo is monopolizing my desperation to get back into an account Ive had for years by forcing me to either lose all my data or pay to retrieve it.

      I have had a Yahoo account for many years but today I tried to access my Yahoo account with my correct username and password and it said my password is invalid and when I tried signing in a different way, it shows a recovery email address that was added today (6/1/23) that is not mine. I now know I have been hacked and have no way to remove this fake recovery email. The option it gives me is a Help Article which is useless and a paid customer service which I refuse to pay and shouldn't with help getting access to my account which has very clearly been hacked.

      Contacted yahoo support per instructions today, May 31, 2023 since the self help wasn't successful. Only to have the phone rep ******* me into providing Identification online, which made no sense since we opened the account without state identification but I provided it with the assurance I will access my email account. Nope, they tried to sell me a bundle stating it's the only way I will be able to access my email that I opened almost 8 years ago. Selling me a service I do not need. Over 8 years I've never called them for anything except this one time since I forgot to write down my password and didn't have a recovery email. This is wrong. Someone way in another part of the world is trying to sell me a service I don't need nor will I use. It took me 8 years to call them for this issue. Not to mention they're giving you false hope to hold on and listen to them verify who you are claiming its for the benefit of you all along it's NOT. They're lying to you. They specifically said if I don't buy a bundle I can't get into my email account. Which had they said that from the beginning I wouldn't have stayed on the phone. Something has to be done. I am NOT the only consumer going through this. Yahoo needs to be held accountable for this and allow us access to our own email accounts. Even if it's to get all precious emails on there and I'll close out my accounts and go else where. We have the right to our possessions and the right of choice to use a service or not.

      I am unable to recover an email account. I have contacted Yahoo several times and uploaded my ID but customer service representative informs me that my account can not be verified and offers no other solutions.

      I am very upset with Yahoo's customer service. Why are we being charged for customer service? I have been locked out of my account and I need this fixed immediately. I have had Yahoo email for many years and now I have been hacked. I refuse to pay for this so-called service and I want my account closed down NOW.

      I have been attempting to gain access to my email address: **************************************** when attempting to sign into the account I am prompted to verify with my phone number *************). When I await a verification code I do not receive it, even if clicking on the resend code button. Due to this, I tried to communicate my frustrations to the Yahoo! support team to no avail. They not only did not help with my problem, but also kept attempting to push a subscription service to give better assistance to my problem. I have access to my phone number, which is attached to the account, along with this the support team actively sent ID verification to my number, instead of sending or helping me with a verification code, which is all I truly needed to sign-in.

      This following article support violence between races: ************************************************************************************** Yahoo News should be ashamed of themselves for partnering up with such a race-baiting author: ******************************* I will be contacting a lawyer soon if this article is not taken down. I and others have joined a Discord server to discuss legal actions to be taken if Yahoo does not comply. I don't normally file a complaint for such a reason but this is just ridiculous Yahoo allows such a controversial viewpoint to be allowed on their platform. I was hoping it was satirical but the article is not. I find it extremely offensive the author tries to make a racial issue when clearly the issue is a lack of respect for one's property. ******************************* is a race-baiting, ill-educated, violence-inducing figure who needs to be removed from ever commenting for Yahoo News. The company she works for is called 'The Root'. I will be filing a complaint against them as well. I want the company to contact me and explain their reasoning for supporting such hateful & flat-out wrong journalism.

      My yahoo email account has been hacked. By the time I tried to fix the issue, the hacker removed my two-way verification (email and phone number). I've tried contacting yahoo to ask for help but instead of fixing the issue and assisting me, I was asked for my credit card information - a fee was not even mentioned. Meanwhile, I have sensitive information on my yahoo account that has been compromised. I've contacted the headquarters and was placed in a voice mail. I am not trying to contact Yahoo headquarters out of boredom. I need to be contacted immediately and not only regain access to my yahoo account but be informed of what they are going to do to fix the damage that they allowed to occur.
