      From February 20,2023, I have been locked out of my account due to a fishing scheme. The password has been changed and the phone number to recover the account looks like my jet blue account number. The email recovery sends me an email code but it does not unlock the account. The code never works- please close this account because it is lost. pictures are available

      Filing here since theres no way to contact Yahoo. Secure email is paid for by exploitation of my personal data, I guess, even though enough revenue could be raised without that if there was just more generic advertisements. Yahoos block images in spam feature is not working in mobile mail. I am asking it be fixed. I dont want to have to view disgusting images if I accidentally click a spam email while sorting through the folder.Desired settlement (listed here as no way to click other with bbbs phone website:- contact me and work with me until this problem is resolved. I shouldnt have to pay for the advanced email just to have a safe email address and support when theres an issue because even though Im not directly paying you, youre advertising so in exchange I should at least have some thing that works and is safe

      Dear Team,I received Complaint #******** has been closed although I have rejected the resolution by the business, can I know why this complaint has been closed by the BBB? The business did not provide the required information/data correctly then how they could claim "I'm not satisfied and have provided all the required information? Could you please reopen this case? I would appreciate it if BBB did not publish this case as settled or closed on the BBB website, as they did not provide the required data despite claiming they had provided one. This is definitely not fair conduct on the part of the business when the issue hasn't been resolved but the BBB claims and decides on my behalf that everything has been provided by the business.

      NK: Could Yahoo please understand and realize my request properly? What I asked for network access logs which I could see foreign IP addresses. So could Yahoo provide me a proof as per your claim that I could see these IP addresses from the above steps? I have provided my explanation on this too to the Yahoo customer team. Please understand the differences between network layer access logs and login data logs. Again, I have explained this portion repeatedly to the Yahoo customer service team.
      The below question was not bothered to be answered by the Yahoo customer team; may I know the reason?
      Could you please confirm where the server is located, **** or the ****? Once my account transferred to Yahoo ****,if the server location is in the ****, will there be any complications again to process this request since all I was under the **** TOS all this time? Can you please ensure that I will not face any more obstacles to retrieve my logs once my TOS is transferred to the **** region? Can I get the logs from the **** team directly as I need it urgently? Or do I need to go through another round of formalities? What is stopping the Yahoo legal team in the ****headquarters to provide me with these details since Im from **** and Im not allowed to request a subpoena? I can supply them with all the required information, though.

      NK: Who is the actual user or customer of **********************? The ******************** or myself? When the user request was not addressed diligently by the Yahoo team, how can I close this case? So Yahoo's intention is to sit there and close all the cases without providing proper support to its users?
      You may want to ask BBB why they closed this case when I disagreed and rejected the Yahoo resolution. I also wrote to the Attorney General of **** on the Yahoo customer service inappropriateness in addressing Yahoo users cybersecurity/data security related concerns. If any further harm were to happen to me due to the lack of cooperation provided by the Yahoo customer service team, ********************** will be fully responsible for my future data breach cases.
      Again, if Yahoo gives me something that has nothing to do with my request, there is no point I'm getting it. No one has time to playfully log a case with BBB or send emails to Yahoo almost every day. If this is happening,then the team there failed to address or understand my request properly;otherwise, why do I need to log a case with the BBB or keep sending emails to Yahoo ****? Yahoo is committed to providing proper support to all of its users and customers as stated in their TOS and business practices related to cybersecurity and data protection, but they are not exhibiting any such diligence in reality. This is how Yahoo **** should treat their customers and users: by ignoring their questions, not addressing their concerns efficiently, and making a false claim by saying all the required information and concerns have been addressed and provided? I believe everyone is given a seat for a purpose and it is ultimately important to carry out their task efficiently without compromising the integrity level.
      I was extremely disappointed with the way the Yahoo customer service team handled my inquiries, which make no sense at all. I guess either they don't understand my questions or they blindly reply for the sake of replying to emails. I just got fed up with the Yahoo customer service team, as the team there loves to close cases, but when it comes to quality of work in providing information/guidance, I could see huge deficiencies.
      I would appreciate it if the Yahoo customer team there could be a little more diligent rather than just sitting there focusing on closing all the cases without any basic understanding of the inquiries. It is not the correct manner that the Yahoo customer service team should exhibit to the victims as the representatives of Yahoo **** They need to ensure that they carry out their assigned jobs diligently; if not, the public will suffer unnecessarily. It was a great pain to deal with the Yahoo ** customer team. My next option is to write to the *** and to *************** again, or to go through a legal team, but again, I will submit a formal claim against Yahoo for not properly addressing its users cybersecurity-related concerns, which is noncompliance with their own policy, and I would like to know what is making it so difficult for Yahoos customer service team to address its users inquiries promptly. If they are not able to provide proper customer service to users outside of the ****, then they definitely need to limit their services to the **** only.

      I have provided all the facts to BBB and included the BBB team in each of my email communications to the Yahoo **** team. We are preparing for a court order to be issued against Yahoo **** for their negligence in handling consumers rightfully, politely, and fairly and for not providing a proper explanation for data security-related queries. This case should not be published as a "resolution provided by Yahoo ****" The customer service team was rude and unprofessional and did not strive to provide a solution as per the law. We have no choice other than to obtain a court order. I will handle the unprofessional conduct exhibited by their customer service team separately with a consumer court.

      I'm trying to access my old email account with yahoo, I have multiple other accounts that are linked to this email and I cannot access them without verification codes that are being sent to said email. When I try to recover or reset my password to this email I am unable to because the phone number that I used as a recovery method is no longer in service, so I have no other way to get into my account and the "free" online help that yahoo provides just sends me in an endless loop of trying to send a verification code to a disconnected phone number. And the only other option they provide is a paid premium service that they force you to subscribe to before they will even address the issue or offer solutions to this problem. No other email platform requires that you pay to reset or recover an account and the fact they have this locked behind a pay wall and an endless loop that basically gives you no other options but to pay for this monthly subscription seems too much like a scam. If I didn't have other accounts such as ********* and Steam linked to this email it wouldn't be an issue but I do and I need access to this email account in order to access these other accounts which contain important personal information that I need. And being scammed out of what basically amounts to $144 a year just to reset a password is absolutely ridiculous.

      I made a yahoo email last year and I linked many important platforms to this email. I moved countries last year and got a new number as the old number does not work here. Now when I am trying to login into my account, even though I know what my username and password are, it's asking me for a verification code sent to my original number. But, I don't have access to this number so now I am locked out of my account forever? Why was I asked security questions, birth date, and other personal stuff? Can I not be asked that? I have so much important stuff linked to this account, why should I ever use Yahoo again for anything ever. Being locked out of an email account and not being able to recover it with any effort in today's technological era is frankly horrendous. I do hope my query is resolved, but if not, neither will I use any Yahoo product again nor will I ever recommend it to anyone.

      They logged me out of my yahoo email on the app then when I tried to log back in it was made to where I could not login in anymore and the only way I could get help was if I called customer service then once I got ahold of someone to fix the issue I was FORCED to pay for a subscription for them to help me get back into my account if I did not pay I wouldnt have been able to get back into account per their words

      Yahoo has suspended my e-mail ********************* for too many invalid login attempts. I complained to att last year about having to constantly reset my password. They fixed it and I had no more issues for a while. But then I had this problem come back and I had to reset my password again. Now today yahoo suspended my account on 03/22/2023. *** has reached out to yahoo and they have escalated this to see if I can get my account back. This wasn't my fault this problem. That is my main e-mail address where I have important e-mail. I was given this ticket #y4905. I request if yahoo would let me have my email back.

      3/21/2023 - Yahoo locked me out of my email account and the only way for me to be granted access is by paying for a subscription service through them. Their "free" service doesn't cover what I need them to do. They are trying to get people to pay for services that should be rendered as included. I should not have to pay for a subscription to be able to unlock my account and gain access to personal information and documents.

      Problem revolves around gaining access to email account, email 1 is being refused access although answering the security questions correctly and with another email account 2 with them i cannot gain access even with correct password as the recovery email is email 1. Their support claims unable to verify ownership as there isnt enough informaiton on their record although thats all the information they asked for when the accounts were made and i am providing it all correctly. I have tried talking to them multiple times with them choosing to just hang up on me every time without further assistance
