My uncle has been trying to access his email account for the past month without any success. He has tried resetting his password and getting a code sent to his phone number, using different browsers and apps, but the message "uh oh we can't sign you in right now" keeps on appearing. He is not able to reach a human on the help line either since they don't recognize the number. The chat redirects him to the phone line which is useless. He would appreciate any help since he has been using this email address for the past 20 years and it's his main form of communication.Business Response

My Yahoo mail ******************* account was compromised (hacked) the recovery email (********************) was removed and then changed. An unrecognized recovery phone number was added. All attempt to login and regain control of the email has failed. Yahoo has indicated they can help any further as there are no provisions for other options on the login and pages.
The hacker has gained access to my personal Twitter (*********) and Facebook (***********************) accounts by changing passwords and recovery emails. I am at the moment unable to access my accounts and the email provider has not provided any help. The attempt to call yahoo support plus has been unsuccessful due to restrictions in my country with foreign currency transections.
The hackers has attempted to hack into my bank account and will try again and succeed if I am unable to regain access soon.
I will require Yahoo contact me to provide information in order to help recover the account as soon as possible.Business Response

I have used my Yahoo email account on a daily basis for the last five years. Today when I attempted to log in, Yahoo had me log in via a two step verification process. The problem was that after entering all of my log on information, I was not given access to my account. Instead, I was offered to pay for a $5 per month subscription service to reset my account. I entered all of the information correctly and made multiple attempts. I simply want to log into my email and Yahoo is going to charge me to do it. 8/25/2022 I was logged out of my Yahoo ************************* email account and access has been restricted. I've been a client of Yahoo for over a decade and this is the second time that this has happened. I'm being instructed that I might be able to regain access by paying for monthly subscription service, which did not exist when opening the account, therefore I believe should be grandfathered in. I HAVE SIGNED IN WITH THE CORRECT PASSWORD AND ON A REGUALAR BASIS THE PASSWORD IS REJECTED...TOO MANY ATTEMPTS ALTHOUGH ITS ONE. Recently I could not access my yahoo email i kept getting an error Uh-oh... We can't recover your account online because there are no other options on file for your account. Even though I had a recovery email and a phone number attached to said email i was not able to recover it or reset it because everytime i clicked it would return me to the same screen showing me the error.
Basically my account was rendered inaccessible. I tried to reach out to Yahoo support but all they gave me were the same copy pasted responses over and over again even when my responses contradicted.
They kept pestering me to buy into their premium support service because it would help me and after awhile i succumbed and bought the service. Upon contacting live agents. None of them would seem useful. Some were even passive aggressive. They kept on pushing me to buy yet another service and would not resolve my issue when asked anything further they would just say we can't help you and just end the chat.
This has been stressing me out for the past few days my email is very important to me as it contains all my university documents and it is really detrimental to my studies.
I have exhausted every resource available even paid money to get the basic support that should be deemed free yet i have not gotten even a single ounce of useful information or help in any way forward it has just been loops around loops pushing me to buy more and more products to get to a solution to a problem that should have never existed in the first place.
I have both the recovery email and the phone number associated with that email. It should have just been a single text to prove my ownership to the account and a link for me to reset my account to get it working back again yet they have hid these basic things behind enormous paywalls.
Please help me in any way you can i am desperate.Business Response

I ordered a 3 piece modular paddle board on July 9, 2021 from the yahoo snow website. Order Number ********. I received a confirming email on the same date from the email of "***********************." On August 16, 2021 I sent an email requesting status. On August 16, 2021, I received a response that due to the large volume of orders, the factory is funning 3-5 working days behind, and to be patient, or they gave me the option of cancelling the order. I confirmed on the same day that I still wanted the product. Since then, I have sent emails on October 10, 2021, October 26, 2021, November 5, 2021 and December 6, 2021 and today, with no response. Hello,
I was a Yahoo Mail user for over 10 years. The past 6 months or so, my life has just been chaos following my email address getting hacked into. This isn't my issue, as security outbreaks happen. However, Yahoo is a pretty big company. They have absolutely no way for customers to reach them unless they pay for a service behind a paywall. Last night someone got into my email, and deleted my entire address. This email was linked to all my banks as well as all my social media accounts, along with quite literally any and all internet services that require your email as a login. It is completely unacceptable that Yahoo is impossible to reach unless paying to speak to somebody. I would say I'm desperate enough to pay them, but I'm not even sure I'd get my email back after paying. This constitutes as blackmail in my eyes.
