      I tried to log into my Yahoo Mail account a couple of weeks ago, but I was unable gain access to the account as I have forgotten the password. I have owned this email address since 2016 and have some business accounts tied to the email address which I now need access to. I believe the last time I accessed the email account was sometime during 2020.

      After a few attempts at trying to gain access to my email address, I was met with the following message: "If you have access to this phone, please verify the missing digits." This is the problem... I no longer have access to the mobile number in question, so I would not be able to receive any of the security codes sent to it. I have changed numbers since I last entered this 2FA security information. Regardless, I can verify that this was my phone number, as I still have the SIM card and the account information tied to it.

      I have phoned Yahoo support a few times now to try regain access to my email account, but my attempts were distressingly unsuccessful, as the people I was speaking with were clearly following scripts and not listening to the alternative information I was trying to provide that would verify that the email account is mine. I know that they were just doing their job and the following company protocol, but as you can imagine... all of this has been INSANELY frustrating as I could easily provide information that could verify that the email address is mine. I will say, though, all of the people I spoke with were well-mannered and very friendly.

      There are many complaints here on BBB.org and other websites saying that their accounts are being held hostage behind premium support services. Troubling, as almost all email providers offer free support when it comes to simple issues like account recovery. I honestly can't believe I have been forced to go to these lengths to retrieve my Yahoo account. I have never had to go to these lengths with Google or Outlook.

      After providing a few alternative methods of verification, ***** and her team updated my recovery number and got me back into my Yahoo email account.

      ***** and her team were very polite and quick to respond. Their support did not require any Yahoo Premium Support subscriptions.

      Hello, I should've done this a lot longer ago.
      From the time I changed my phone number ~5 and a half years ago, I haven't been able to access my email (********************). It won't let me change my number associated with the account because I can't get in without a code sent to a number which I don't have anymore. I can confirm this number, ***********, but its super frustrating that all it says is that there's no other recovery options when I click "I don't have access to this phone". Please, I really need to get back into this account to access old documents which just came up recently and I can provide any information requested.

      Years ago, I upgraded to Yahoo Mail Plus at a price of $34.99 a year. On 8/11/2022 I received a notice from Yahoo stating that I agreed to change from Yahoo Mail Plus to Yahoo Mail Plus (?) and that I would now be billed $5.00 a month for the service. I say that I did not agree to such a change, and really, why would I agree to an optional price increase for a service I have been using for some time. I have been in contact with customer service about this issue. Customer service says that I received an email that would have allowed me to retain the "grandfathered" pricing, but did not act on it. I have checked back through the Yahoo Mail Plus system and cannot find such an email, and thus could not have blocked the price increase. I have asked customer service to either prove that they sent me such an email or reinstate my Yahoo Mail Plus at a price of $34.99 a year.

      On August 13 Yahoo locked me out of my email account, indicating that I had entered my password too many times, although I had only entered it once. A temporary password was texted to my recovery phone number (I can prove this as I still have the text) and I was able to change my password and access my email. Two weeks later, it locked me out again claiming I had entered the password too many times (although I only entered it once) but this time I did not receive a recovery text. I have spent hours on the phone with support and have been told by both technical support personnel and a supervisor that the only option they have (even though I had a recovery number in place) is to send an email containing a temporary password to the LOCKED email account - that I obviously can't access. They claim they cannot send it to my phone, or to a different email address, or provide it verbally. I am at a loss as I have had this account for years and need to retrieve important information from some of the emails.

      Recently signed up for a Fantasy Football league and we found out the person in charge of the league started to cheat. They were removing players from other managers teams and adding them to their own team. We confronted the commissioner about it, but he will not respond back. These actions effect our yahoo stats and profile. It will lower them significantly. Many of the managers in this league have been on this site for over ten years building our profiles and perfecting our stats. 5 different people submitted complaints to yahoo asking them to delete our team from the league or remove the commissioner, but they said they will not do that. This league is a technically a public league because it was open tohw public forpeople to join. Yahoo refuses to rectify the situation and refuses to help us out. This simple tak we ask yahoo to complete and they said that can't do it. They are the admins of their own site and have rights to adjust or fix anything, but are refusing to help us. Any help would greatly be appreciated. We are just looking for a simple fast resolution. They are ignoring their customer complaints from multiple managers and are refusing to help.

      Yahoo fantasy sports in 2021 And 2022 has been colluding in league play, I believe yahoo employees are joining paid fantasy football and baseball leagues and colluding amongst each other because every trade I make gets vetoed and every trade they make gets accepted. I have dozens of screenshots and chat logs recorded and can provide more details to stop yahoo from scamming other sports fans this needs to stop. I tried to get my money back but no response

      Someone hacked into my yahoo email account. The only way to get some assistance from yahoo I had to subscribe to this last pass service for a monthly fee. Yahoo was not able to help with email account and cannot use email account. Now yahoo will not unsubscribe this last pass subscription. They keep charging me $5.29 per month since December 2021. They keep charging me for a service for an email I can't use anymore.

      Problems with Yahoo Email ***********
      This is an ongoing problem and has been for at least 2 months.
      I'd like to get all this fixed ASAP just in case Yahoo goes totally berserk & everything is gone.
      M folders are emptied out & only older emails appear. When clicking on a folder the message appears "The folder is empty"
      Some other things go haywire such as calendar commands - I can't always delete or add calendar events etc. When forwarding an email I'll get a message "Your message cannot load".
      To temporarily resolve this I need to refresh at which time I get kicked out (when refreshing)and then I have to sign back in. Then folders are then re-populated and newer recent emails appear. The problem appears to be resolved until the next time. If I am inactive using my email this happens again in an hour or so.
      I started to forward only the more important folders from Yahoo to gmail and Outlook for "safer keeping".
      If I should change my email address from********* (Yahoo) to either gmail or outlook. The problem is notifying all correspondents (personal & business) of the change and transferring all the calendar events over. (cumbersome jobs).
      I get no help from Yahoo, AT&T, Frontier Communications, Norton. They pass the blame or problem on to each other. In fairness please note that all the CSR's have been professional but that said they cannot solve the problem - it still persists.
      I contacted the FCC but this issue does not meet their criteria.

      Yahoo keeps pushing this ad onto my inbox, spam box, sent box or other components on my email. I am not interested in this and would like Yahoo to remove this from my yahoo email. I am to the point where I may close out my account and use another service provider.

      I have my E-Mail account with Yahoo. Yesterday I was able to access my e-mails. Today it say error with my account. I called for help on the phone. I have to join some service for $12.99 a month. I have tried what I can on the website . Not working. I get no explanation from yahoo staff. This is beyond ridiculous.
