      Years ago, I had purchased Yahoo Mail Pro and had been paying $34.99 each year for the no advertisement experience. Today I signed in my Yahoo Mail and see an email from Yahoo claiming my change to service is complete and I will be paying $5.00 each month for the service starting July 26th. I was unaware of the email sent November 26th 2021, I clicked today when their support agent told me yahoo sent an email, regarding a change to the service including an option to opt out of the price increase of my service, if I click the link by January 9th 2022. I do not believe it to be fair business practice when they are pushing the consumer in a double or nothing minded tactic with said such claimed changes to the service. I don't look at the mail I receive from yahoo as 99+% of them have only been ads trying to sell me something, since 2019, some times several emails each month, which isn't much of a no advertisement experience anyways. I am upset, from not being able to continue paying $34.99 each year for my service all the way to not even being able to get to my emails or download attachments from my laptop these passed few months. The whole yahoo page from the start struggles to load up on my laptop, it takes me over half an hour some days just to sign in my email on the other device, and even this one some days, screen claiming I have no internet connection but all the other web pages functions without problems. Maybe it is their ways of business tactics or creating the consumer troubles, but either way this type of change to my service is foul. I understand they don't offer $34.99 yearly service anymore, but after all these years I have had my service, they should have honored in keeping my service the same instead of giving me a link to click within a certain amount of time if I wanted to keep paying the price I already had been paying for years. I had to cancel subscription today to save $5.00 from being taken from me as first month instead of $34.99 yearly.

      I see they charged me $5.00 even after I cancelled the service. They said they would have a manager contact me but has not yet called my phone unless they tried when my phone was off and out of battery on the charger. I cancelled on the 26th and they still charged my paypal $5.00. Something is way off about those people. I am very upset now.

      They gave me refund of $5.00. I had been paying $34.99 each year for 5 years and now I cannot afford the price of $60.00 each year. If I had read and responded to an email sent back 9 or so months ago things would be different but now I will just get over it and move on. I have spent more time than I care for on this issue.

      I am unable to retrieve my password for my yahoo email. I cannot use code to phone as my phone number is currently under fraud investigation which will be another complaint I will have to file for Spectrum as I have had no resolution to this. So I called customer support for yahoo to have password reset and they want to charge a fee. I honestly am not comfortable submitting a payment to retrieve a password. So I tried calling customer support again to pay fee in hopes to retrieve access to email, went through their verification process and they still said they could not help. I even gave them information to look up that they say does not match when I read word for word what they needed. I would like to have access to my email so I can save info needed and eventually deactivate email as I am unsatisfied.

      Yahoo has stated that my ID and birthday do not match my account and they have locked my account. They have said they can no longer help without creating a new yahoo ID but that does not help me with obtaining all my old emails that I need to obtain with important information. I have had this email for probably 10 years. There verification process they have it truly baffling and they do not provide supervisors when asked without being rude every time we have called.

      As I realized someone has changed my name and birthday under my account, yahoo does not take responsibility in reviewing past history that this is clearly my account. They will not accept other verification besides "what is available" that day. Yahoo should really understand that hacking of accounts is a such thing and this has occurred. I can provide emails that are word for word from 2015 from this email and they said they wont verify. I tried to deactivate account so whoever is on my account can be blocked and they still will not help.

      While attempting to log into an old email address that I have the correct password for Yahoo would like to send a code to my computer. I have moved since the last time that I have logged into this account. Their system is generating a code to attempt the login to the system. However they would like to send a code to an email address that I used while in high school. I located this older email address and attempted to reset the password on this account to gain access to the code. Then Yahoo requested to send a code to an old phone from high school that no longer is an active number. I have called Yahoo 5 times in the last two days to get assistance and they have requested that I provide something additional each call. Unfortunately these calls always end with their desire to send a code to something that is outdated. I appreciate their concern for the security on my account and I can provide additional verification proving my identity if needed but the code system will not work based on our experience. I also understand that it is my responsibility to keep my account information updated, however the company needs to have an alternative method to verifying account information other then sending codes to outdated emails and phone numbers. Their system should be able to track how old the email address is on file and the phone number and know that where they want to send a code is outdated. They provide no other options and they have indicated that it is impossible for me to gain access to this account. It's important to gain access to this account so I may update my personal data on it. .

      I have not been contacted by yahoo. They have not communicated with me since I filed the complaint with the Better Business Bureau. In my previous communication with yahoo I requested two supervisor call backs. I have not been called by any supervisors with yahoo.

      I recently tried to recover a password for an account that I did have my phone number and another yahoo email as a recovery option but that email was also a yahoo which I could not remember the password as well so I would have to pay their $12/month fee to recover the first email. Moving on to the secondary email , it was also connected to my phone number but the recovery was to a gmail that I did have access too. When attempting to receive a reset code to this gmail that yahoo said it would be forwarding to for 3 over days to no avail, I decided to call yahoo again. After explaining that I was not receiving a code they told me that the gmail account was not in their system even though their website was saying it was being forwarded to this account. After explaining my frustration and questioning how could their website be aware of this gmail account of it wasn't in their system I was told I'd need to pay their fee to join their service to recover it and find out more information. Finally after five minutes of frustration and experiencing what I feel like is extortion I ended the phone call and tried one last time to reset this secondary yahoo account. However this time now my recovery email has changed to the first yahoo email. I did hear the representative typing the entire time and believe she updated my account with the yahoo email and I truly feel like this an extortion scheme yahoo has employed

      I've had a yahoo account for many years. All of my emails are on yahoo. My nickname **************************** has been in use for many many years. Recently as yahoo has expanded public comment on new release and articles it is my belief that they have been illegally targeting comments based solely on political content, specifically anything that is strongly opposed to the ******************** party attempting to overthrow this nations democracy. One I might add my wife and I both served and sacrificed for 20 years to defend. I understand there needs to be standards but nothing******* me off more when it appears to be slanted towards one position, the position by those who are pushing back on the vitriol of hatred and democracy hating by the right. So, I received an email from yahoo advising me I had violated TOS because of my nickname above, I changed it to *************** and now, they have once again sent me another threat to shut down my email/close my account. No appeal not way to redress and no way to get my emails they now are holding hostage forcing me to conform to some mystical standard that is not apparent to anyone, ********************************* so its not a matter of not possessing reading comprehension skills. Again, I believe their actions to be illegal as they hold all of my important email data without being able to provide a means to remove decades of emails that are critical for many reasons.

      Your guidelines do NOT clearly delineate what is and what is not acceptable. For instance, why can everyone else have odd nicknames and mine ***************** resulted in admonishment and removal of that nickname ? I would like for you to show me specifically where in the TOS etc it clearly states nicknames must meet your subjective, arbitrary and capricious review ? Please provide me the specific reference? Also, today I see again, thousands of comments that are repugnantly anti-democrat and many that contain false inflammatory slanderous information about politicians and their children, and there they are. Allowed to post false information, tell me again how your rules are equally applied ? If I dare call out the lies and attack the message I am fearful you will delete my email account without providing me a copy of all my emails.       This company primarily provides a subscription service for college sports teams. I started purchasing their subscription service about 8 years ago at an annual price of $99.95 to receive information on Florida State University athletic programs from an excellent team of sportswriters associated with a website called Warchant.com. Warchant.com is a member of the Rivals.com enterprise.

      My annual $99.95 Rivals annual membership fee was charged to my credit card account on 7/14/2022. However, since that time, I have found out that the Warchant.com team will be leaving Rivals.com and moving to a new sports information company called ON3.com effective 8/1/2022.

      Rivals.com has known that Warchant.com was leaving their company prior to them charging my annual $99.95 on 7/14/2022. I contacted Rivals.com today and requested a refund of my $99.95 since my entire reason for subscribing to Rivals.com was specifically for the trusted information on Florida State University that was provided by the Warchant.com staff.

      The response from Rivals.com was that FSU sports would "still be supported and staffed" after 8/1/2022. However, when I asked for details on exactly how it would be supported and specifically who the new staff would be....they could not or would not provide that information.

      I believe that the loss of the Warchant.com team from Rivals.com has significantly changed the product services that I have paid my member subscription to Rivals.com for numerous years. Rivals.com was fully aware that Warchant.com was leaving their company prior to charging me the $99.95 annual fee. They knew that this was a very significant change in their product/service offering to FSU sports fans and did not even bother to advise me of the upcoming changes and should therefore do the right thing and issue a $99.95 credit to my Credit card. Thanks for your assistance in resolving this matter.

      Their response states that they have "reached out to ********* to investigate and assist further". However, I have not received ANY contact from them whatsoever. It's interesting that they don't even bother to mention "how" they tried to reach out to me?

      By phone? By email? By text? By USPS? By smoke signal? Also, when I click on their business info in their response....there is no contact name, no phone number to call, no email address.....nothing. So exactly how are they reaching out to me "to investigate further"?

      They are just being totally unresponsive in hopes that I will just give up. Their response is totally unacceptable.....because they have not done anything to resolve this matter. If they truly want to "investigate and assist further"....please ask them to provide details on how they reached out to me and to provide me with a contact name, phone number, email address of someone that I can speak directly with at their company.....if they truly want "to investigate and assist further".

      Since May of 2022, Yahoo has been updating their system which is not compatible with AT&T/Yahoo, I have experienced and was told this by AT&T and Yahoo supervisors on the phone there is a serious problem with the Yahoo updating. Both AT&T and Yahoo have had many numerous complaints from customers every day per AT&T and Yahoo, including myself and all accounts at my business, Your emails; freeze, crash, having to constantly log back in, loose emails they are erased, not getting new emails without logging off and logging back in, emails are not sent that were sent, constant spam mail, spam mail not going to the spam folder, spam mails that you can't block, you have to create a new password because your password is not accepted anymore, you have to copy an email you typed in Word because you can't trust typing an email because the above will happen. So I copy my email to Word and when the above problems happen I can paste the Word document into a new composed email and send. This is unacceptable and Yahoo won't fix the problem, immediately. AT&T said to me on the phone they can't do anything it is Yahoo who has to fix the problem they have created. I want an executive at Yahoo corporate to read this complaint and to call me.

      I have had my Yahoo email account for about 20 years. I am getting spam emails more than important emails. I report them and they keep spamming me. I've blocked several and this seemed to help the most until Yahoo took that option away!! I can't get any work done or anything important done. I am completely bombarded with these spam emails. My email account is no longer safe because of them and Yahoo is making that significantly worse by refusing me the right to block the spammers and they continue to allow them to spam me!! I have very important articles from clear back when I was making my very first career moves as a teen. I need to keep those safe and I fear all of my information is in jeopardy because of the spamming. I am also having issues with the home pages, not only is it not keeping me logged in but it keeps changing my location to somewhere I am not, somewhere I never go to. I have tried to contact Yahoo and they will not acknowledge these major issues. I need to be able to protect myself by blocking and reporting these unwelcomed spam messages. I deserve to see my city's local weather and not some other random city on my homepage. I need to be able to contact Yahoo and something actually be fixed here. I have had this email account for 20 years!! I was maybe 13 years old when I signed up and have always used it for important matters. I have not had an issue until this year. I need this fixed asap. Some very important work is saved in that email and I can not lose it. I am currently seeking a separate new email because Yahoo is no longer safe and has been uncommunicative to me. This is super upsetting to me. I don't want to lose this account. Yahoo needs to make clear improvements for a much safer emailing experience.

      My Yahoo email account was created over ten years ago. During that time it was my primary email address, many important services are tied to this email. Around seven to eight years ago I lost access to this account, every time I would attempt to recover the account through the options proved by Yahoo, it would lead to either a dead end or a continuous loop. My more recent attempts at contacting Yahoo have resulted in Yahoo referring me to their paid support, I finally accepted this only for Yahoo to first ask for my drivers license as identification. Here is why this is wrong: I created this account when I was between the age of 9-10 years old, I know for a fact there was no identification tied to this account due to my age (at that age and during the time I had access to this account I never had any form of identification, not even a personal mobile phone number). I asked Yahoo support how they could know it was me and what the purpose of using my identification was if there is no way to compare the identification to any previously tied to the account. For all they know I am a hacker attempting to steal this account or I am sending them a fake ID. They reacted with anger and hung up on me. This is a major problem as my Apple accounts recovery email is my Yahoo email, that Apple account has hundreds of dollars worth of purchases that are inaccessible due to Yahoo. I am seeking either compensation or recovery of this Yahoo account.

      This complaint is in reference to Microsoft Email accounts not Yahoo email accounts. Yahoo is unable to assist with Microsoft email issues.
