Yahoo locked me out of an email I have with them that was linked to an old phone number I had. There is no reason whatsoever for them asking me to verify my account, I have the password save and it was entered correctly. To recover my account they want me to pay for there "premium account services". To me this is blatantly coercive.

I am rejecting this response because: they refused to help me in any meaningful way and asked invasive questions about what would be personal correspondence. They simply needed to remove the demand for a unnecessary verification an account to which the user had the password.

I have had my Yahoo account for over 25 years. I would close it but its an old account I keep open for long lost friends and nonsense marketing from stores. The amount of spam that gets through is unbelievable. The worst part is that when I go to mark it as spam it asks if I want to unsubscribe from it. Did anyone think this through at all? A bogus email I didnt sign up for from a fake company targeting multiple people and yahoo wants to send them an email saying unsubscribe. Shameful. Worse - really worse - is I now need to delete the yahoo app because ITS ACCESSING MY FINANCES!!!!!!!!! Get the h*** out of my bank accounts, my credit cards and my bills!!!! What in the holy is Yahoo - which cant handle ****** spam emails doing telling me the amount of my credit card payment thats due?!!!I WILL NOT contact someone in the app. It goes NOWHERE!No way - and I do mean NO WAY would I pay for premium services so if your response had anything to do with either of those just save it. I have written in through help and given feedback and everything else multiple times and no one responds. Why would anyone want their email app messing in their credit card payments?!

I'm simply trying to recover ( or even attempt to log back into) my Yahoo account but I get blocked and sent to the same customer service phone number. Since I no longer have the phone number associated with the account I can't access or even attempt to put my password in. Instead Yahoo wants my personal information and ID and also charge me for a premium service to have my account accessible. I have important business and personal accounts linked to that account and it's proving difficult to try and access the emails. I don't want to pay for a service in order to get my account accessed.

Since January 1st, *** been trying to get assistance with recovering my two AOL accounts. Unfortunately, I am unable to access them due to each account being the alternate recovery account for the other email. The login is asking me for the recovery email and somehow it's locked me out of both accounts. The issue with AOL is their customer service. Their online chat doesnt solve the problem, and theres no way to talk to a representative on the chat (very bad business practices in my opinion). I emailed the customer support email ************************************ on January 6th, 2025, but I never received a response.I need access to these accounts. I would appreciate an email from customer service.

I am beside myself with the unwanted changes to Yahoo Mail. I can't tell you how much time I have spent trying just to get back to the view I had the other day. Nothing I have tried is making it any better and I have to keep logging back in again after two-step verification. I don't want to go through some forum or chat with an AI bot. I want a real person to fix the problem. There aren't even settings to correct the problems I am having. It's such a sprawling company that I don't know how to contact someone I can trust to resolve these problems. I can no longer upload multiple files at once to an email; I can no longer go straight to the next email after I've read one; the positioning of the commands is all different and the top "banner" takes up way too much room.

Yahoo appears to be coming up with it's own version of LEGITIMATE emails and then attaching their version to the email. This has caused me to experience a LIFE CHANGING, highest of high only to come crashing down to a lowest of low. I was playing online with MI Lottery and received two LEGITIMATE emails from MI Lottery about winning a sum of money that had to be claimed. In the second email, it stated, "Michigan Lottery Prize Processed. My Account then My History select Tax Reported Prizes from the drop down menu then select View Your prize from 02/14/2025 with a win amount of $2,000,000 has been processed, and you can log into your account to view the details.Note Log into your account to view your prize details.Visit the Michigan Lottery website for your next win." Again, this message was attached to a legitimate message from MI Lottery that MI Lottery confirmed they sent but after MUCH crying, confusion, research, phone calls, etc. the above message in quotes was apparently attached by Yahoo email and is NOT accurate. Where they even came up with this I don't know but this has thrown me in to such a tailspin. No one should experience this, EVER.
