During July-September of 2024 my Father unknowingly signed two separate contracts with Powur/ Dauntless and Freedom Forever to install solar panels on his house. Powur was very helpful in assisting us in canceling the initial contract with freedom. However Freedom came back after Powur installed the panels to have him sign another contract without identifying clearly who they where. ***** is the only company that we should have a contract with as they are the sole installers of the equipment being used. Freedom is taking credit for install and product that Powur completed. We have photo proof of the installation process and time stamped dates to go along with them, proving that Freedom Forever has no product on our house. Freedom did however incorrectly wire the main panel box and install a mosaic billing box to fraudulently charge us for solar they did not install. Repetitively they claim to have proof of install on there end, without ever providing said proof. We have tried to contact them multiple times to prove our case but it falls on deaf ears. They continuously stated that because my father signed the contract, Freedom is unable to change anything. We have been tirelessly trying working with them to resolve this situation but they refuse to return our calls or emails. We have even gone in person to the centennial office and were meet with " we dont do that here, we dont know, your dad signed the contract, you need to leave so i can get on the phone to help you, and this conversation is stropping me from doing my job." We just received a phone call from ******** **** from Freedom Forever Business Resolution who claims to not have all this information we previously provided, proving Freedom Forever has no solar product on our home and are continuously fraudulently charging our Family. Solar is failing per the company that monitors it. Over the last 2 years I have been paying a large True Up to PGE ($1600-$2K) in overages and we do not have any additional items pulling energy from when installed. I have attached the findings from Solar Edge (they support Freedom Solar). I would like a refund for the time after the panels were re-installed and for the panels to be fixed/upgraded whatever to produce to the level that was sold to me. I paid almost $40K for these solar panels.Business Response

My cancellation request has been submitted and processed with Freedom Forever portal reflecting a cancellation date of July 31, 2024. However after 2 attempts of the loan company reaching out for cancellation, both of which were denied, Ive received no updates. The loan company stated that Freedom is required to notify them, which *** also asked about multiple times within the last 6 months. No luck in getting a response other than it may take up to 60 days, we are beyond that ***** Their cancellation number has now resorted to chat only.This loan remains open on my credit for a project that never completed beyond a discussion.Business Response

Sales representative gave false claims as the system "This won't come at any cost to you." ****** ******* was the dealer he is a subcontractor of Freedom Forever by way of a company called **************. So now a year later my wife received a bill from Ever Bright for the equipment (the panels) And the whole purpose to get solar panels is to save money on your electric bill. Was approached for solar panels...agreed to it but canceled the next day. I left multiple text messages, to which he only responded that he want to talk. He would not take no for an answer. I even left several voice messages telling him to cancel the contract. The agent allegedly did not report that to the *********************** (Jan. 2024) In January of 2025 I went to refi my home loan and was told about this, that Mosaic via Forever Freedom Solar was on my credit report with a lien on my home. I contacted them on Jan. 14th of this year and *** said the ***************** would look into it and contact me. Nothing has been done. As recently as yesterday, I tried to contact them. Was told they sent me a link to which I could go and talk to someone. No such link came. This loan is a Ghost Loan, it shows a balance, no negative comments, shows no late payments however, does show a lien on my home. I never received any information about this loan with ****** or ***. I do not have solar panels they were NEVER installed. I was harassed by their agent to the point that I had to block him. This Ghost Loan and lien need to be removed from my credit report....this is fraud.Business Response

I am needing to get in contact with this company as I am being charged way more than what I was told my bill would be when I signed up for the solar panels. On July ******* two sales people with Freedom Forever Solar panel company asked us if they could make a presentation about their service. I told them we had other solar companies tell us that to install a solar system we would have to cut down 3 mature healthy trees, I said we will not do that, These 2 said that's not necessarily true, so we listened to their pitch. We were told an assessment would be done to determine if solar panels would be efficient in our case, but to move forward we would need to go through setting up financing for the project through a 3rd. party called MOSAIC ********* services as a show of good faith, I said no. They told me the financing would not go through unless the assessment confirmed the project would be doable WITHOUT removal of our tree, so we agreed. August ******* the assessment survey was done. Some time around the end of August, the salesman called me and said that the same 3 trees in question originally needed to be trimmed significantly to proceed. I said NO, cancel the project. He told me to call Freedom Forever directly to do that, which I did. I kept getting email notices that there was a problem with the project proceeding. I called their customer service ***** multiple times between October 2024 and February 20, 2025 to tell them we canceled the project , want them to contact ****** to cancel the financing, and the reason why. On Feb. 20, 2025 I called again and was told I needed to go through the entire process again via "Chat" which was with an AI bot. Meanwhile the amount of $22,900. continues to show on our credit report as an amount we owe to Mosaic ********* for a service that had never been done and was canceled because Freedom Forever will not inform ****** ********* that the project is canceled. During that conversation, you mentioned that the system was not performing as expected due to the bills you had received. Our representative clarified that, up until February 23rd, the system had been operating normally with no alerts, and that a team was already being organized to address the non-production issue.
Additionally, you mentioned that the sales representative had informed you that the system would cover 85% of your utility bill. Your point of contact explained that, according to your contract, we do not guarantee specific savings but rather guarantee production. The 85% threshold represents the minimum amount of production required to ensure the system is working as intended.
It was also suggested that activities you engage in during the evening could be causing the battery to drain more quickly, which may result in the need for power from your utility company and lead to higher bills. You then communicated that you no longer wished to continue the conversation and would be denying the necessary maintenance for your system, as you would be going on vacation.
We fully respect your decision and, once you return from your vacation, we strongly encourage you to reach out to us. This will allow us to arrange for a technician to service your system and also assist you in communicating with your utility company regarding your billing concerns.

I started the process of having solar panels installed and found out during the site inspection that we would have to sign a roof waiver because they decided our roof had signs of wear. They would only provide 5 years of warranty or something like that. We decided we would cancel the project and reassess in a few years once we had a new roof installed. We cancelled on December 17th, 2024 and I happened to check my account on February 18th, 2025 and found that the project still had not been cancelled. I contacted the cancellation department on February 18th, 2025 asking once again for my project to be cancelled and was given the excuse that the cancellation takes 60 business days. I contacted ******, who was handling the loan servicing for the project, and they said my cancellation request to Mosaic on December 17th, 2024 had been denied by Freedom Forever on December 20th, 2024. I contacted the Freedom Forever cancellation department and requested a cancellation once again and this time was informed that the project had been cancelled on February 15th (although it wasn't showing up in my customer portal on the 18th, so I'm suspicious of that claim). I was also informed that their cancellation takes 60 business days because, and I quote the support person who sent the chat message to me, "The cancellation process takes up to 60 business days because it goes through three phases: holding, retention, and final cancellation. This process is in place in case customers decide to change their minds. Once the project is fully canceled, it cannot be reversed." This policy does not serve customers at all. The sales representative that originally sold the idea of getting solar installed said it was easy to cancel at no cost up until the point of construction. In hindsight that seems like a clear lie. It may be possible to cancel, but only if you request it multiple times.Business Response
