      I have had my solar from Freedom Forever for 3 years. In June, my system stopped producing electricity. I have contacted Freedom Forever several times and it’s December and the still have not fixed the problem.

      They finally sent someone to my house. It took him less than 5 minutes to determine that my inverter was not working, which I have been telling them all along. Now I have to wait while they order one.

      Worst service I have ever experienced! First, the salesman was late for our appointment. He showed up 3 hours late. Then after we agreed to go ahead, the surveyors were late. And I bet you guessed, the installers were late. The installers left BROKEN roof tiles all over our yard and a mess in the driveway. Our panels were installed on July 11th. The inspector came out just to notify us that they installed the wrong fuses. Since the inspection, we have had nothing but broken promises and ignored messages. We have tried contacting Freedom Forever for months to correct the issue. WE STILL DO NOT HAVE A WORKING SYSTEM! The loan installments have already started and they did refund us for the 3 months we have already paid, but that does not make up for the months of Xcel we have paid for that we shouldn't have. We contacted the finance company to open a case with them only for them to contact us back stating FF lied and said the issue has been resolved. THEY LIED TO THE FINANCE COMPANY. Now we finally got in contact with someone who again promised they would send someone out to fix the fuses ONLY TO NO SHOW! THEY DIDN'T EVEN CALL TO LET US KNOW THEY WEREN'T COMING! Again we contacted FF just to be told "I have reached out to the branch management to let them know of this. I have asked they find out why they did not show up and make sure this gets completed. I will give you a call once they have gotten back to me on that." This was 6 days ago. Still no word. We are now on day 140 without a working solar system. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

      This is by far the worst customer experience I've ever had. I had solar panels installed on May 2022 and I'm still waiting for my system to get turned on. Not only I get the same excuses that they're waiting on my electric company but it takes FOREVER to get a hold of anyone. My electric company contacted me on October stating that they are waiting on freedom forever. So someone is lying to me. Obviously they have me under contract and they don't care to even give you a courtesy call. I have to call every week to get the same bs apology and that they will "rush" this situation. I guess six months is not enough to them. I've been paying on the system since August and the refund checks they offer take at least 60 days to recieve after you made the payment. I'm currently paying for both my electric and solar which is a complete failure on their promise to save you money. Also, if my system is not on by the end of the year I will miss my tax break for 2022. I have submitted reviews on Google reviews and this is the only way I've gotten some response. I will file a complaint with the BBB for fraudulent service. DO NOT use this company. They only care about getting your name under contract.

      I can't even give a star rating, but its forcing me to choose, because the lack of response I get from this company. I have been trying to finalize my project for over 6 Months and I have to be the one who reaches out to all necessary parties to get exactly what the energy company needs. I have made 25 attempts to this company, VIA email, or calls, and all they can ever say is there is a ticket in the system, that's all we can do. So I took it upon myself to get all necessary documents and signatures to get my project finalized. In the meantime these guys owe me for 3 months of back pay on my solar loan that they keep telling me its 6-7 weeks out. By then they will be owing me another payment.
      To this day I regret even signing that piece of paper letting these guys do this project.
      Stay away from this Company, I may just be the unlucky one, but Its by far the worst experience I have been in.

      Freedom did an excellent job installing our system. The installers also answered my technical questions quickly and fully. The system has been active for a week now and appears to be working as advertised. And the couple of times I called, my questions were answered quickly by the polite CSRs I spoke to.

      I am not sure how this company is still in business. If I could give them negative stars I would. I started a project with Freedeom Frever in June. Delay after delay. You cannot ever talk to someone when there is an issue. A ticket will be opened with weeks to wait for an answer that is not an answer but more questions. Over four months later, I am attempting to cancel but cannot get the project canceled. Let me stress there has absolutely nothing been done but half of the funds have been distributed to them and a lien against my house. They assure me that the loan had been canceled but I received an email from Mosaic, the loan provider, saying they had heard from Freedom and the loan was to continue. WHAT??? I am now in the attorney phase of this project.

      In short if a freedom sales rep knocks on your door, tell them to kick rocks. If I could give a negative star review I would. Since I'm limited in characters for this I'll have to make it short.
      PRO: They're very good about communicating with you up until the panels are installed, then nothing.
      CON:
      1. Customer service is always in queue, their callback feature for the phone system is finally fixed after I reported it multiple times.
      2. There appears to be no interdepartmental communication, as you have to call multiple times to get an update on anything.
      3. When you request a callback or they say they'll call you , that never happens 99% of the time. 4. Everything is always 2 to 3 business days out, including the no call backs.
      System was installed 5/25/22, finally got permission to operate 8/23/22, this is partially not their fault as local power wanted to inspect the brackets the panels were using so they had to pull some panels off. Their "you're ready to go" email says someone will call you to walk you through activation, this is not the case you need to call to initiate the email from the monitoring department, which takes 2 to 3 business days. My panels stopped generating power 10/2/22, this was presumed to be an inverter issue 2 to 5 weeks for a replacement, not their fault supply chain issues and such. The kicker here is they refused to send a tech out to verify without the replacement part. On 11/8/22, no call, I call again, still no update on the replacement part, still 2 to 5 weeks out, still no on a technician. Finally 11/18/22 I get someone willing to send a tech, 1 to 2 business days for a call back to schedule, call never happens. Today 11/18/22 I call to find out the status of the service call, this was not submitted and come to find out the inverter was never ordered because a tech needs to troubleshoot the issue before it can be ordered. Now I'm waiting for a call back that will likely not happen.

      Well you have one thing right, your service is unmatched for sure. I don't know where the problem lies whether its with training or with management but it seems that you don't care about customer issues/complaints unless its made public.I'm following up on my initial review. I ended up posting a message to their ******** page around the same time I made my initial complaint so I don't know which of the complaints got the ball rolling first. As a point of note though they ***************** any negative comments on their ******** page after they make their initial "We've sent you a DM" message. This can be confirmed by anyone; by looking at the total comments on one of their posts which will show "x" comments, if you go into the comments you will see less than the previous number. In most cases you will see none. I told them this was bad business practice and was told "we will take this under review". Clearly they don't care as this is still going on over year later and ******** gives the options to do it so go figure.I was assigned an online rep who was in relatively constant communication via email/phone and the issue was eventually resolved in January of 2023, and has been producing power ever since. My current issue now is with getting the reimbursement I was promised at my 1 year anniversary. So far things are not looking good. I spoke to someone on 9/25 who said I could claim the reimbursement yearly as part of the service guarantee but it has to be initiated by me. This is frustrating because I don't have the time to sit on hold for over an hour just to speak to someone who will most likely not do what they say they're doing. I was told I should be receiving an email to start the process, I have not received that email. I emailed into support this morning 10/6/23 regarding the refund, nothing has been received yet other than the initial receipt confirmation. I still stand by my initial review, this company is the worst I've ever had to deal with, while they may eventually get any issues resolved taking 3 months to replace an inverter is unacceptable in my opinion. It's also not acceptable that I have to use 3rd party companies BBB/******** to get anything done.I should have known better and went with my gut when the sales rep screwed up the initial power generation quote and put a yearly 90k MWh production guarantee rather than what I have now of 10k MWh guarantee. I will not be removing this review under any circumstances, my hope is that I can at least save someone else the stress/time of having to deal with this companies lies and inept business practices.

      We were not sure about going solar. We made an appointment with freedom forever and Andrew B**** responded. We were so pleased with him, he so informative we learned so much from him. Andrew answered all questions very patiently and professionally. We chose to go with freedom forever because Andrew explained how solar works and helped us understand it. This has been the best decision we could have made. Work started and finished in a timely manner. We are very happy with the results. One monthly payment we can afford and one small Edison fee. We feel confident and comfortable calling with any questions we might have.

      I have contracted Freedom Forever to install solar on my house. It took 5 months for the installers to show up. The delay was blamed on everything from supply-chain shortages, to the vendor discontinuing products, to the vendors shutting down and stopping production of materials, etc. Basically they fed any and every excuse they could come up with, none of which I believed. I have no point of contact. The sales agent stopped replying to my messages and emails after about 3 months. When the installers did show up, they couldn't complete any of the electrical connections due to outdated panel & meter, which should have been discovered during the site survey months prior. The contact with the installer I have will not get back to me on any ETAs. I contacted the main office, and it took them 2+ weeks to reply to me with a non-answer of "we are working on it". So far I am 21 weeks from signing the contract, have a bunch of non-connected equipment installed on the side of my house, and have no idea what is happening or when to expect anybody to get back to me.
